Can I say THANK YOU 🤗 for talking and TEACHING instead of playing annoying music and speeding up the video. This was a true tutorial not an annoying show off and go buy my stuff video. Thankkkkk you.
You are so inspiring, Susan! Thank you! I loved the bracelet you made and I also love you showing us you’re sweet little fur baby at the end of ur videos! She snores just like my baby and I think it’s precious!
I had a hard time picturing jewelry for adults with this cane but you did it! The gold leaf and darker crystals make it look more "grown-up". Very pretty
Thanks Susan, as a relative beginner ( who still has more filler clay than end results lol), I'm really enjoying these 'simple' ideas... I don't feel such a failure when I actually end up with something presentable!! can't thank you enough :)
That was so cute! Love the gold leaf on the bracelet hearts. Not sure what, or if, you wrapped the hearts on the earrings. Thank you for the ideas! We EXTREME BEGINNERS love cutter canes! Very best to you and yours. Bye Bye Little One :)
Dog: Mom can be so sappy but then again thats why we all love her! Great video, darling little hearts Simple but endless on the creatve scope.I love it! Thank you for sharing.
Hi Susan, Very simple and creative as to how you used the hearts. Know that the videos are time consuming for you and appreciate your sharing both simple and more complex ideas!
Wow this is an amazing technique and I would’ve never thought of doing that. I love the beginning where you cut out all the hearts at once and compacted them to start the cane. That was ingenious! Thank you so much for sharing your technique and talent with us. Love from my heart to yours
How fun! Thanks for another fantastic tutorial! I can't wait to give this a try. Love the rainbow of hearts. Your dangle earrings and wrap bracelet are so fun and colorful! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend! TFS! 💕
Love this, and love the earrings and bracelet, definitely on my to try list, and since i demolished my pasta Machine this is helpful, Have a Great Weekend Hugs Dede xx
Love it love it love it.💕 Thank you Susan. I was wondering how to make the heart ones from your other tutorial to use as oopsie pieces - rescue ideas. It was sure pretty. off to make hearts... =)
I love your approach that it’s OK to do what you like (and to make mistakes, LOL), but at the same time, you explain a rationale so that clayers can understand what and why you do something. I’ve been a PC hobbyist for almost 20 years, and am mostly self-taught. BTW, am very curious as to the origin of the name, “Turtle Soup Beads.” I have pet box turtles and I honestly think that the first time I watched one of your videos, it was because the name “turtle” caught my attention.
Susan this looks like a fun project to do. I have a question. What type of clay do you prefer when making canes? Let’s say in the Sculpey line. (That’s the only brand I use). Thanks for this video! I’m excited to make some cutter canes, I really want to make monogram canes... I wonder how difficult that’d be?
Just a thought Susan, to make it even easier cut out loads from another colour then stack all the outlines up outside the main colour? I may not be making my self clear but just a thought.xxx
how would you make a cane where the shape inside would change slightly as you cut through the cane? like, for example, one end starts off of as red and as you take slices off, it blends into blue
I recently got a used pasta machine and for some reason it doesn't have numbers on the dial. Is 1 the thickest setting or the thinnest? I assumed it was the thinnest but you said you did the black on 1 and it looks thick. The one I got is heavy and well made so I'm assuming it's older from a time when the quality of things was more important. It has 8 settings.
i love your videos this is how i learned how to make a cane !! you are amazing.....one thing though, your followers, when you look up turtle soup , such a cute name but it also brings up the most horrifying videos where people pour boiling hot water on LIVE turtles and you watch while they writhe in pain.I hate for such a cool talented person like yourself to be associated with something so terrible. my God i cant even watch something fun right now. ill get back to this lovely video.
@@TurtleSoupBeads ikr ! Don't watch it whatever you do. I can't believe you answered me I am honored despite the grim reason. Just know that you are inspiring me and other people to make the most beautiful things. The brutality in this world is a dark spot on humanity maybe someday we will overcome it all. Please keep doing what you are doing because it's beautiful and so needed because my hearts in my canes look tortured !! Lol ty for being so wonderful 💯
@@turtlesoupbeads751 sorry to hear that... It's a lovely tribute though... I'm sorry if my question hurt you. Much love to you, I love your videos more than anything for the "live in the moment" lessons you teach us!

Love the idea of adding gold leaf on the edge of the hearts on the bracelet
Gold leaf is my addiction! It changes everything
I don’t even do anything with clay I just love watching these videos

So cute! I think you could maybe do something like this with the cold porcelain clay too. I'm going to try, and I'll let you know how it goes.

I started selling turtle beads and people started calling them "turtle soup " and it stuck ! Besides I save and love turtles !
TurtleSoupBeads Cool! What are your turtle beads like?
@@margaretmathis4775 actually I dont have any sold them all ! I got tired of making them after about 10 years

I never ever use sculpey 3 it's not strong enough for beads I love premo and souffle gets too soft here in the south
Very nice
Just a thought Susan, to make it even easier cut out loads from another colour then stack all the outlines up outside the main colour? I may not be making my self clear but just a thought.xxx
I tried that way and got too much space that made it distort, yes we both thought the same lol
@@TurtleSoupBeads I thought you would have tried it out first. Hope all is well with you and yours x
Could you do a tutorial on the heart bracelet I love it
how would you make a cane where the shape inside would change slightly as you cut through the cane? like, for example, one end starts off of as red and as you take slices off, it blends into blue
This so easy think about it just stack different colors

Your dog is so cute. Is he spoiled?
What's the benefit of cutting numerous hearts and stacking them vs cutting one solid heart from a block?
Good question , it's really hard to get it out of the cutter without distorting it was simpler to just stack them
Dear friend I just watch this video and I believe that I might’ve able to make this cane ,,lol but with me ? Nothing it’s for sure jijiji 😜
with you Raquel lol :)
Viv'sALittleBitCrafty lol it’s weird but it’s i just have no luck. But ohh lord if I have so much fun lol 😆
