So glad to see a hunt where they are not killed. Beautiful snakes.
It’s always nice to see such quality Rattlesnakes released were they were found
Looks like fun..
A ton of fun!
Potter County, PA.....God's Country!
You got that right!
I love how yall are doing it in PA. Its s great example of what other states should be doing to protect and respect a resource.
Timbers are protected in every other state. I believe pa is the only state that you are allowed to harvest one legally in but there are definitely lots of great resources for education throughout the state
@CentralPaOutdoorsmen they're not protected in Kentucky. I'm certain that the way PA is doing it it's brought so much awareness and educated people who wouldn't care, just kill it now, appreciate and respect them
Good job men!! Enjoyed watching your video
Thank you sir👊🏻 glad you enjoyed more to come
Dad shouldnt be handling snakes after he has one bagged, its illegal. Glad to see you released it. 🤜🏼🤛🏼 Good luck and be safe!
Thanks for the feedback I didn’t even think about that
I have people ask me all the time what the snake hunt/pit looks like. Cool for people to see what the hunt actually looks like and the measuring of the snakes...great idea!
Thank you! I wanted to do more but was soaking in the hunt myself
Hahahaha , 😂 that's a baby rattler . Come on down to Georgia. We have some a whole lot bigger .
Would love to
wow man I'm glad to see the Keystone Reptile Club still kicking. I was a member for several years in the mid 80s and won trophy for the smallest rattlesnake and trophy for second place in the beginner bagging competition which I heard they stopped in the mid 90s. It's good to still that responsible rattlesnake management is still happening in Pa.
They put on a great program. It was our first time at one hosted by them and it was a blast
@@CentralPaOutdoorsmen Well I am glad to see they are still going. I might have to try and make it to an event next year.
Pretty cool to see a roundup where the snakes are released. Neat hobby you've got there.
That’s what they are all about. Catch and release and education of the snakes
But not very "neat" for the snakes, which do not benefit whatsoever by being disturbed in their homes, tubed, roughly handled, transported, etc. It's low-brow "entertainment" for humans - at the expense of the snakes' well-being.
The snakes could be observed and photographed, but should be basically left alone.
Congrats man.i lived on long island my whole life so no venomous species but this is on my bucket list.awesone video bro.🐍🤘
Thank you and good luck!
I hope you got to enjoy a few adult beverages at "Grumpy" Jeff's Bar in Cross Fork...
We didn’t get the chance to go over but seemed to be a popular place all weekend!
