    Thank you so much! I'm here thinking I never have to replace my drill bits because I only do my own nails but now I understand mine are worn out!! ❤ Good thing you are having a sale...lol

      i just got a 30 pack from shein that are surprisingly really nice!! i’ve got to try youngnails brand now too though lol

      @@mikeoxlong777 Be careful with shein bits and those big packs of diamond bits from anywhere not just shein. I bought ceramic bits off shein and they are plastic, not ceramic. I bought a big pack of diamond bits shein and half of them don’t fit in the efile, I bought another from Amazon thinking they’d have better quality control but several had burrs (sharp pieces that stuck out further than the rest of the bit) Had I not put the bit between my fingers and twisted it I wouldn’t have known bcuz it wasn’t obvious to the eye. That could have done some serious damage had I used it!

      @@krystalfukinmarie757 i must have gotten lucky because all the bits i purchased have been great but i really do appreciate the warning! I did wonder if there wa anything i should be cautious about when buying “lower quality” bits

    I only do my own nails always full cover tips I do the artwork then glue Them on but would love a drill for my cuticles but must admit I’m terrified of them
    First time I ever had acrylics done the woman burnt 80.% of my nail bed still put
    The nails on and I got a horrible infection so she put me off getting One for life

    I wish I could do my own nails with extensions. Almost $70 bucks to get my nails done is very expensive!!

    Can you or 1 of your colleagues purposely mess up some nails with builder gel, polygel, or acrylic with some on the cuticles and use the efile to fix it? That's my problem right now.

    Thanks for the information. I got a question if you use the electric file when you file left or right do you have to have the file on the same side as you are filling thanks.

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  Рік тому +3

      If you are filing with your right hand, the machine should be running in forward & you would file right to left. If you are working with your left hand, switch to reverse & go from left to right.

    Should you have your bit right up because I see nail technicians having their efile ebits virtually all the way up instead of putting the ebit into the efile correctly how far down is correct

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  Рік тому

      We recommend keeping your bit all the way in or just slightly pulled out. If you are working on a longer nail, you may need to bring it out further, but the closer in you have it, the more stable it will be.

    It seems safer to the nail to soak off the product. The nail techs I have been to file off the product.

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  Рік тому

      We like to remove product with an e-file because soaking off product every two weeks and lead to brittle, weak nails.

    I can call it a drill right? I'm pretty sure that's what Karen said. 🤔
    Also, should I season the base of my new safety bit as well?

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  Рік тому

      If you use the base of the bit near the sidewalls, yes, you would want to season it as well.

      I have a Dremel. I have a (professional) electric nail file. I have two battery operated nail files. I’m scared to ever use the dremel tool on my nails! I just made the mistake of the wrong angle and burnt my rt. thumb nail bed (with the professional file). I used a battery operated one for many years, I NEVER hurt myself with the battery operated one. Until my skill level is better? I’m using the battery operated ones on my cuticles! Since I’m still over applying product ( cos I’m an amateur!) I’ve never over drilled(filed) the full nail bed. It is much harder to hurt yourself with a battery operated nail file from walMart.

    Is there anyone that is left handed that can show how to hold the finger to apply product and to file. I see you guys doing it but no one is proficient left handed so it not comfortable for them to do the other hand. I just want to make sure I’m doing it correctly

    • @youngnailsinc

    • @lorindapardi2699
      @lorindapardi2699 Рік тому

      That’s unfortunate, maybe one day. I have my technique awesome but I never use a finger to brace myself as I work and I can’t figure out how to do that cause it’s different if you are right handed. I don’t know why but it is.
