    Finally! I just wanted a simple, organized video that explained how to use an e-file, what speeds, etc. Even if some things could be based on common sense, it's so helpful to hear the essential do's and dont's from one complete, knowledgeable source. Thank you for continuing to make such helpful content. Hope you have a beautiful day!

    SMH... after watching your videos I feel like everyone else that's on the internet doing nail tutorials is here just to entertain us, cause this is the first time I paused a video and got my stuff out to practice WITH you ... And you didn't even ask us to. You're a teacher, you're God's gift to the rest of us. And thank you to the production team✨ A+ work 🤝

    I’m the beginnerey-est of beginners & it’s like you watched me do my first set on myself and addressed EVERY MISTAKE I made! Thank you so much! 😅✌🏻I do have a practice hand & I’m letting my natural nails grow out before I try again, because oof! I messed up! Natural nails are so thin now and I’m afraid if I tried to put on another set, I could damage them permanently. But I’m learning to do this so I won’t bite my natural nail anymore. I think it’s helpful!

    Susie I started watching you about five years ago I am now 69 years old you are the one that gave me the inspiration to start doing my own nails as a hobby and also because I enjoy it I have learned so much over the years from watching you and other nail techs I have gotten really good with my e-file I no longer burn my nail beds and make sure I put it on a really low setting when I’m doing my cuticles and so far I’ve not had any problems in the last year it’s taken me four years to get it right but thank you for your inspiration your soft voice and to be able to actually see the person that’s doing the video instead of just a table and nails

    Hey Suzie 👋 I watched your "fear the efile" video and that "anchor" has completely changed my e file game. I used to use a nail file to do whole service but I used a drill on a client for the first time 2 weeks ago. It's so much faster with an e file. Your videos really inspire me to be more confident. I really feel like I learn enough to actually change my routine on clients. Thank you so much 💓

    Suzie… Love your videos I have learned so much. I agree with your position on training requirement basic courses - here in FL, USA I spent 1000.00 to,learn how to glue tips and spread acrylic.. and they didn’t care “how well” a student did .. everyone got their certificate. I’m almost ready to start taking new clients as well as some from my school who want me to continue. Honestly I’m 52 years old and never cared about my nails-my granddaughter wanted something different last Halloween & I was hooked. I’ve taken some really great zoom classes with different manufacturer’s like YN and look forward to seeing some online classes on your website. I’m also patiently (trying) waiting for your gel trial kit so I can order both your acrylic and gel trial kits. Everytime I visit your site I just want to gran the acrylic one but after purchasing “enough nail crap to open a salon” as my husband so eloquently put it .. I’m pacing myself. Thank you again and I can’t wait for both trial kits🤩

    You’re fabulous! Your videos are informative, concise, and pleasant to listen to. I’m a dermatologist who recently started getting dip done at a salon. It actually helps my nails not chip, but I do notice cuts to my cuticle and heat during the procedure. Two days of moisturizing every hour around my nails helps those small cuts heal. I use a dimethicone based emollient. Could you do a video on cuticle oil versus other emollients? I find the cuticle oils more drying than dimethicone.

    If I see bump in the acrylic or just a high piece that’s throwing my shape off and I need to drill it off, I do small circles in that area well not a full circle like the shape of a rainbow or horseshoe I go around lift around lift around lift I’m self taught but watched nail school from young nails all the time I watch mr. nails and of course your videos and from two years ago you guys I watch have brought me further then any school would, and that’s not a joke because my friend is in nail school and she said they teach the correct terminology as like the dead white tissue on your nails has a name but besides that she said as far as doing nails they don’t show her anything she gets little hacks from me and I get them from other people like you and all the other nail artists I watch that do share information.. OK Suzie unrelated to the video subject but can I just say you've mastered set design and color. I absolutely love your background and am constantly drawn to what you've stuck there with the lights. Just thought I'd share my appreciation for a part of videography that is often overlooked and often under appreciated as it's obvious you've put a lot of thought into your environment.

    • @NailCareerEducation
      @NailCareerEducation  3 роки тому +2

      Oh my God I think I love you. It’s so funny that you say that because you’re absolutely right on I do spend a lot of time making it look just right. And it is a labour of love because I’ve noticed most people don’t even notice it. But that’s OK it does give a sense of style to the whole visual effect even though they’re mostly looking at the foreground. I personally take a lot of pride in the design of the background, it’s just nice that someone does notice it ❤️

    • @Keeper0fmyHEART
      @Keeper0fmyHEART 3 роки тому

      @@NailCareerEducation Honestly, I've noticed the backgrounds in every video I've watched. I can tell you put thought into it because no 2 videos are exactly the same. Often the difference is subtle such as the lights being moved just a bit or another strand that's a different color. Your clothes and the tools on your table to even your clothes always compliment the background in either the same colors as in this video or compliment and coordinate. Of course all work toward your branding and the colors of your products. Of course that's a given since your products are hidden in the background as well. As I said I noticed and always love to see what I can find and figure out. I have a suspicion you're color scheme for each video is actually tied to the type of video. Great job and yes it's appreciated and a testament to your brand.

    I do my own gel polish at home and bought an e-file a while ago to remove polish instead of soaking or manually filing it off. The other methods were waaaaay too time consuming. I always apply a thick base coat so I'm not accidentally filing down to my natural nail too quickly. I love using an e-file, it's been so much more convenient. It does take time to get used to and learn how to control.

      Which efile did you purchase? I’m doing my own nails too and wondering if I really need to purchase $200-300 on it….seems like a lot. Are there good options for less?

    The only time I had an e-file used on my acrylic nails was when my regular nail person went on vacation and referred me to her sister. It was the one and only time. I much preferred having them done by regular file. While her sister did a nice job, I was just always leery of having an e-file used on my nails.

    Suzy, help. I have a video idea. When I go to the salon there is a menu of services I don't understand what they are. Can you do a dictionary definition of what a common salon menu offers. Thanks, your awesome. I just found you and have been binge watching.

    your explanation is so good , I have watched your videos before and today I will subscribe. I like that whatever manicure you do it shows so much good taste. I can see that you have lots of experience. I was planning to buy a poly gel nail kit and I am not sure, not sure I can't do it myself 😊

    I haven't been hurt with the e-file luckily, but dit get a burning wound on my skin next to the nail with a handfile. It was quite small, but still quite painful.
