Your son looks exactly like his dad. Love Aldi stores.
As someone who regularly shops at aldi. Other things that are almost always cheaper there. Baby wipes, toilet paper, toilet cleaner, diapers (if they have them), parchment paper, aluminum foil, butter, bacon and heavy cream! Also I absolutely love their trash bags. I can get them cheaper other places but I find the Aldi ones hold up better, and I'm all about having trash bags that don't rip.
The diapers are pretty good too! I had an aldi nearby when my firstborn was in diapers and they were cheaper than th e walmart diapers with the same "coverage" so to speak
Would you consider doing a video on all you can do with oats? I feel like that would be awesome
My nephew gifted many people huge charcuterie baskets and everything was from Aldi. We were one of the lucky recipients. It was impressive.
Cereal, cheese, eggs, butter, chicken broth, produce were some of my favorite things to buy when I lived where we had Aldi in our area.
My ALDI must buys: fresh salmon, frozen ahi, greek yogurt, fig bars, dark chocolate, coconut oil, everything bagel seasoning, take n bake calzones, strawberries and blueberries, multipacks of bell peppers, baby spinach and 3-wick soy candles.
Always the Swiss chocolate!!!
The ravioli and the tortellini are fantastic. Taking a crockpot full of one of each to 2 families today!
I haven't had the ravioli but second your opinion on the tortellini!
Aldi's sauerkraut in the jar is outstanding (as it should be from a German company!)
My 2 year old granddaughter loves the Turtles. We bought them at our last grocery trip to Aldi. And it's the cutest hearing her ask for some turtles!
It's so interesting to see an Aldi in another country 😅 so similiar yet so different than our German ones. Love the German addition of having to do a deposit for the shopping card ❤
We used to live in an area that had a lot of Aldi stores, now the closest one is 8 hours away. Every time we visit our family Aldi is a MUST stop, we have our camper so I can get all kinds of stuff!! I miss it so much.
Get your house paid off - that saves money and the peace of mind is priceless!
Amen Marilyn! Five years into my 30 year mortgage I refinanced to a 15 year mortgage. A few months before the loan was to be paid off, I had a massive stroke. I can no longer work and having my house paid off is such peace of mind!
I’m in Southern Illinois and have an Aldi and love it. I do most of my grocery shopping there. What I can’t find there, I go to Walmart which is across the street from my Aldi, very handy for me. Give me my quarter back…..too funny! I buy all my produce at Aldi which is always better than my Walmart. They take all types of payment at my Aldi. I love Arizona. I had an uncle who lived there when I was young and my family would go visit him every year on vacation. He had his own business and made good money. My family was poor and he paid for everything when we went to visit him. He had a large home and we stayed at his house. He gave my mom money to buy groceries for all of us. My parents would try to pay for something and he would make them put their money back in their pocket. He even made my dad take money for gas. He was divorced and had no kids, so he took us to be his immediate family. He said my mom’s cooking was worth him buying the groceries lol. My mom was a great cook. Thank you for the memories of my uncle. He was my mom’s oldest brother and I miss him so much. Great video too!
The ravioli and the tortellini at Aldi are fantastic, love them for my shelf stable meals for our college aged grandkids and you can make so many 30 minute meals!!!
The spinach and ricotta ravioli are delicious!
The dark chocolate coconut almonds are the best. Hope you got some !
The raviolis are fantastic. My husband made them with roasted Garlic, Brussels sprouts and tomatoes. Chef’s Kiss 🎉
The ravioli is one of my fave buys. I always grab the mushroom ravioli. I also always pick up the brioche when they have it. There's a regular and a chocolate chip, and they make the BEST French toast!
Where is the ravioli
ALDI ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ it's both a magical and dangerous place for me 😅
The fact that you recognized that there are times you NEED "emergency mac n cheese" makes me love you even more!!! ❤
Let's talk about inflation! That Mac n cheese was .33!
Yes, even inflation has hit ALDI. I've been shopping there so long I remember when the vanilla was $2 a bottle. Today it's $5. 😅
The Crofton baking dishes are my favorite. The quality is so good and the prices are amazing.
i am glad you left this comment; because i was wondering if they were just pretty...
I agree! I use mine all the time and they look and behave like new
Yay AZ!! The sunsets *are* amazing. Sometimes I think we take them for granted. I'm genuinely hoping that Aldi opens up a store near Tucson/Marana/Vail as the southern part of the state remains Aldi-less.
AZ sunset, yes. 😊 AZ dust storm, nooooo.😮
Happy 30th 😉 birthday, Lauren
You mean 40th?
Eggs just went on sale at Vons for 18 CT, $3.97
@stamps4fungin
Did you miss the winky face? Play along.
Literally made the spinach/ricotta raviolis tonight and were delicious..ENJOY!
Those raviolis are good! Have only tried the mushroom ones so far and thumbs up on them.
I get their Irish butter when it is on sale. It is actually Kerry Gold.
My must buys at Aldi- their salsa, their ketchup (we are Heinz snobs but it's a decent dupe), their Asian sauces (General Gao's and such), their dry bagged ranch/italian/gravy/chili mixes, thier giant bag of Stevia, their 12 pack of burgers, their crescent or cinnamon rolls, their Chef Boyardee dupes (quick lunch when life gets away from us).
Love it! Thanks for the tips ❤
Lauren's laugh gets me every time! She's a hoot!
Tortellini is ok… the Mama Rosa’s pepperoni pizza is amazing!!
I loved all the interjections with your sister. I hope you had a great time!
Love the frozen ravioli!
Those extra cheddar turtles 🐢 are amazing. Way better than the goldfish. 👌🏻👌🏻
Weaver's Needle! Great hike choice 😃
Sometimes it is about doing the fun thing - I’m putting that on a t-shirt. Also, Arizona sunsets are AMAZING!
Aldi also has a pretty decent selection of gluten free products and my celiac sister approves them
The organic tofu can’t be beat at Aldi! Less than $1.75!
They just had it on sale/Aldi saver for $1.30!
My aldi doesn't carry blue bell, BUT you have to get the peanut butter cups!!!!
Or the salted dark chocolate caramels.
Those are so good too!
Glad to see you Lauren ! And happy birthday !!
My top 5: produce on sale (usually fruit, but occasionally tomatoes, avocados); everything bagels, spices, butterball turkey’s (especially around T-Day/Christmas), dairy (eggs, butter, milk)
Tortellini at Aldi is awesome!! My kids LOVE them. Quick and easy!
I purchased most of the fruit, vegetables and goat cheese for my daughter's wedding (75 people) and wedding rehearsal dinner (25 people) for $60 at Aldis!!!! Saved me about $100 over Sam's club!!!
Arizona sunsets, its one of the reasons i love living here
Amen! Love AZ…. Miss the cactus!! ❤
We tried the the crabmeat and ricotta cheese raviolis in the freezer section and they were delicious!
We love the Simply Nature sauces. They are all we use now. Also, Aldi brand sauerkraut & English muffins are fantastic.
Yes the ravioli is good. I get my organic chicken, beef and vegetable broths from Aldi as well as organic marinara sauce (tomato basil), organic veggies and fruits, organic butter & milk & eggs $ orange juice, Emporium Irish cheese, ciabatta rolls, organic coffee.
That pizza is $5.56 by me! WOW at my hometown Aldi!
I love their sparkling water. And the price
Never been in an Aldi, but hope to go one day. The deals look amazing. Thanks for shopping with us!
Eggs are free where I'm at.. I got 14 hens in the back yard lol
Their crab and lobster tortellini are delicious! Would recommend!! Their lunch meat and sliced cheese are my go-to as well. I love their thick cut pepperoni or salami, 4 minutes in the air fryer at 400* and you have a great snack that is muuuuuuuch cheaper than jerky.
Beautiful sunsets. We had one yesterday, it had pink, purple and orange. Just beautiful!
Hey a box of Mac n cheese, can of Chilli, small can of chopped Chilli peppers and a bag of salad. Great easy cheat meal.
Lauren's haircut is so cute!
I am a serious Aldi shopper! I have very limited time and have a tight budget, so Aldo is perfect for me. Must buys for me there: milk, cereal, salsa, pretty much any dairy products and snacks.
One of things that helps me save money is the fact that I don't have a million options of things there, so I'm less tempted to make impulse purchases (as long I have self control in the " aisle of shame' 😅)
I love the ravioli. Buy the often
I love the smoked salmon! So so good
Priano stuffed pastas are all delicious. Their jarred pesto is soooo good! Enjoy.
Yes!
The frozen ones are delicious. I've never had the vacuum packed shelf stable ones.
There are really good tasting English muffins at the dollar tree. Love them
Dulce de Leche is just sweetened condensed milk, simmered in the sealed can, in a pan of water for an hour or so. It's dead easy & cheap - google for exact instructions 👍🏻
Thank-you🎉 Christine for the Aldi shop, I love 🛍️🛒 shopping there , 👍😃 great topic and 📷 video.
The ravioli are pretty good! I get their cheese & mushroom tortellini & make a cold tortellini salad with cucumbers, grape tomatoes, diced onion/garlic, olive oil, apple cider vinegar & Italian seasoning & its *chef's kiss*! Love your energy & vids. Never stop being awesome! 🌸💜
My Aldi always accepted CC. BTW, if you don't have a quarter, you can go inside and ask one of the cashiers. They have always done this at mine, but YMMV, especially with so many folks don't carry cash. I use a 3D printed "coin" that I always carry in my car.
Their Keto bread items are really good and DOLLARS less than everywhere else.
They totally give quarters out at mine too
The tortellini and pasta are ok. It's a quick cheap meal. For sauce they have good ones as well. Garlic and onion is my favorite
I thought it was hilarious that you went for the turtles. We buy the turtles for lunches, and the price may not be fantastic, but we've found that the box lasts a lot longer than we expected! And really delicious too!
The ravioli is very good; I especially like the mushroom one!
You are so happy! :-) So nice to see that. That decorative box is also to store the remote controls on your coffee table.
The pita chips are fantastic with humus as well!
Aw, love when you get to go to Aldi!! I really appreciate hearing about the dupes for the big corporate brands. Generic/store brand all the way!
There's only 4 things that I miss since moving to Idaho from California. (1) Sam's Club, (2) Aldi's, (3) el Pollo Loco - I still tease myself by having the app and getting emails, and (4) 99 cent only store - for veggies. Pro Tip: When it comes to those peanut butter cups, you are correct! They go in the freezer, but I tend to put them inside the old Lima Bean bag ... NO ONE will ever look in there. ... Including me sometimes. It was SO NICE to see Lauren. She needs to do more, even podcasts with you. Aldi's must have's ... the ravioli is good, but my all time favorite item is the Organic Whole Wheat Spaghetti. The texture is absolutely beautiful. I remember 5 years ago when it was only 97cents a box and I watched it go to almost $2 in just 3 years. But is still worth it.
The premium vanilla and chocolate ice creams are a great Haagan Daaz dupe. So good!
Walmart Oats cost 3 cents more. Found that out this weekend. Aldis for the win🎉
Just moved to TN from CA and Aldis almost makes it worth it. 🎉
FILL YOUR SPICE CABINET. Aldi was a life saver when I had my first apartment. I would have spent double trying to get basic seasonings, cooking oils and pantry staples anywhere else
Try international grocery stores: Indian, Middle Eastern, Asian. Spices are so much less.
That pineapple would be perfect for my freeze dryer. Love finding deals like this.
I loved in Arizona for 14 years as a kid!! The Arizona sunsets really are the best!! And same with eegee's!
The $4 wrapped cheeses at ALDI are excellent. Last year I got the bacon bits smoked Gouda and a smoked Cheddar. Delicious. And they had a nice pink Prosecco for $10 that I can't find anymore. It was really from Italy.
I really wish Aldi would expand to the Pacific Northwest and Colorado. My son lives in Denver and food prices are outrageous.
Instead of the pre-made pizza, I buy 2 pizza doughs, 2 cans of tomato sauce & a bag of mozzarella cheese & make 2 pizzas at home. I always have items at home already for toppings. My favorite toppings on one pizza are kalamata olives & feta cheese.
Happy Birthday!!!! I love your channel Christine!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The spinach herb wraps are amazing!!
I eat the ravioli and tortellini a lot. They are pretty shelf stable and make a quick meal with some sauce and a little meat source.
Yes to all the eegees!!!! It’s not as good since they got bought, but still good! And Dave is right. Always stop for eegees!
I just went to Aldi’s in my area 2 days ago and bought cucumbers for0.65 each versus Walmart’s 0.82 each. I also bought their thin pizzas which were$2.95 versus Walmart “Jack’s” brand that are at $3.86. And… the French bread pizza’s are so delicious from Aldi’s. Frozen pizza is my one indulgence! Most veggies are also less expensive at Aldi’s versus Walmart.
30 looks great on you, Lauren! 😉. Good to see you again. I love Aldi, aways find great deals.
I love Aldi! We shop there weekly. Get the Autumn Crisp grapes. They are so good! Love the peanut butter cups too!
my goodness!! your eyes they sparkled, joy just shined!! it was amazing to see thank you Christine (& Lauren) xx your son is so cute bless him
Love the Turtles!!
The French Toast Bagels are a new fav and the Millville 90 Cal Box Brownies are a good treat! And as an ex-gymnast, I approve of your son's sport of choice 😉
Happy to see your sister in the videos again!
My Aldi in Long Island, NY has eggs for $2.35, and I always get a loaf of white bread in addition to other breads for FIFTY CENTS! White bread for grilled cheese or PB&J is the comfort food of all time!
Why is white bread 50 cents everywhere but in TN lol 😆
I watch many a UA-cam influencer in different states who gets their bread for almost $2. Not just in TN. I'm shocked that in my county, the most expensive county in most of the country, I can get it for 50 cents! 🤪😵💫
Raviolis are great.
Love your son yawning in the background but you can see it in the door reflection 😂
Ravioli and tortellini are great and so are gnocchi! Also in my area eggs are $2.87 they went down for awhile and are going back up!
Aldi socks are great value and very comfy
My Arizona heart loved the end of this video. I moved away last May and Im finally going back this May. I’ve been home sick lately and just hearing a mention of eegees made my mouth water. So glad to share in this little southern Arizona gem. 💕
I live in Texas and totally get the blue bell hype!!! I use to only buy blue bell!! HOWEVER since having an Aldi… I will only buy their ice cream!!! It’s so good and only 2.18 where I am at!!
Gosh, I love Aldi, they have a Simply Nature line that I adore. I love their take n bake pizzas, their candles, their Aldi Finds aisle (lol). The stuff in the Aldi Finds aisle is reasonable. I've gotten a treadmill years ago that is still going strong for $100 on clearance! I love the exercise bike I got there and use it all the time. Their oat milk is THE BEST! Their cheeses (not sliced cheese but specialty cheeses) are the best including their goats milk cheese. Not only is this store affordable, they have gems that you cannot find ANYWHERE else. I highly recommend Aldi.
I love their Hawaiian Bagels which only come around in June..hopefully they still make them❤
I've never seen those! What are they like? Those Hawaiian rolls?
