We dont have Costco stores, but I will still watch, because I enjoy Christine so much. 😄
Thank you!! 😍
Same I don’t either but love Christine !
My advice is to try to move somewhere with a Costco, it is truly amazing 😆
Same! 😅
I don't shop at Dollar Tree but I watch those videos just to see what Christine has to say 😂
Marianne's avocado oil is actually top of the line . Sourced from only one country so it is not mixed with possibly rancid avocados.
Marianne's avocado oil was third party tested and was proven to be authentic. Primal kitchen and Chosen Foods were also tested and confirmed to be authentic.
The wild blue berries are really good! Dark sweet cherries and pineapple
How do you get 125g of protein in a day on a budget? Would love to see a video on how you do that esp since foods higher in carbohydrate, which are fine to eat, tend to be more affordable.
Their plain Greek yogurt is a must have. We use it like sour cream, make ranch with it, put fruit & granola on it 👍🏼
When you were mentioning items on the baking aisle, I was like, “If she doesn’t mention the yeast, she has failed.” 😂
That is a complete steal. I keep my yeast in mason jars in the freezer and just dip out a little into a small jar for me to keep in the pantry. When I run out in the little jar, I go refill it from my deep freezer. I’ve had mine for probably over a year now, and it’s still works great!
I was so stoked when I learned that you could freeze yeast. It cut the cost down on my baking tremendously.
I should send you some of our maple syrup. We started a maple syrup business last year. I thought I didn't like real maple syrup, turns out the mass produced real maple syrup at the store isn't even as good as real maple syrup!
That salad you made looks really good!
I'm a baker, and I do get the almond flour. Also, quinoa is at a great price.
Thanks. I'll check out the avocado oil since we switched to that for baking as it's low inflammatory.
My 71 year old father runs half marathons at least once a year, and spends the rest of the year training for them. He landed himself in the hospital with a critically low blood sodium level. So low that doctors didn't understand how he survived. He started drinking pickle juice as a supplement. Im going to send him some LMNT to try. Thanks for the tip!
Wow that's scary! Glad he's so in shape tho! Amazing!
I live less than five minutes from a Costco and I run in to get a rotisserie chicken at least once a week and that's all I buy!
You have better self control than I do.
Same for me, Costco is so close it's dangerous for my wallet. 🤪
@@sandyruther2745you must have extremely strong self control.
The croissants and multigrain bread are yummy.
Love Costco (a little too much) but wow its dangerous going there …. you can drop $500 easy! I buy a-lot of my bulk products from there and some from Sams , I even bought my food processor and Vitamix from there. love the video makes me want to go to Costco now.
Our Costco (in Michigan) just switched out the $1 churro for a $2.50 chocolate chip cookie...Same there? I love Costco. By far the best organic products and prices on or organic frozen fruit and steal of a deal on the Orgain protein powder when they are on sale. Family of 12 here with many gluten and dairy issues and Costco is by far the best priced for those specialty items. Thanks for the video!
I skip this rotisserie chicken and buy a whole chicken for my instant pot. I get chicken for many meals and broth. Here are the ingredients in Costco's chicken:
chicken, water, salt, sodium phosphates, hydrolyzed casein, modified corn starch, sugar, dextrose, chicken broth, isolated soy protein lecithin, and mono-and-diglycerides.
Does that stuff make it into the chicken itself?
I’d like to see what you cook and eat daily. You should do videos.
Very smart. Rotisserie chicken is gross. I've never eaten it. I get non GMO chicken from Sam's.
@@kathyratino962yes it's injected with all that crap. It's disgusting
We are spoiled in west Michigan! The kids and I go down the road in July and pick sweet cherries and sour cherries. Pitting them is really annoying but we do it and then freeze and use all winter long!
What do you use them for?
@@malindamcgill6918 I make homemade cherry pie, cherry bars, cherry crisp. The sweet cherries are great just to eat frozen or to throw in a smoothie. Cherry smoothie bowls are awesome as well
I always end up buying more than I planned when I go to Costco and now (thanks a lot 😉) you’ve added a few more things I want to try!
I always grab two rotisserie chickens when I'm at Costco and pull off the meat to make my bulk freezer meals. The bones get tossed into the pressure canner with some veggie scraps that I keep in my freezer to make bone broth. I usually get about 8 quarts of broth. Winning!!! The avocado oil is a pretty large bottle for me but I get it anyway and refill my small oil bottle I keep in my cupboard and put the remaining oil in the freezer. It seems to last way longer that way without going rancid. My current bottle is two years old.
Marianes Avacado pil has been tested and found to be 100% avocado oil.whsrr others are cut with other oils
I actually shop Sam's Club but still enjoying watching what others buy and definitely am interested in LMNT. And you inspire me to get exercising again since your complexion is fantastic. Kudos
I’ve wondered about the sweet dark cherries….now I know I need to get some!
Your Costco is so chill and leisurely. Mine is always so busy that it's hard to stop and browse around!
Me and my children LOOOOOOVE the sweet dark pitted cherries. I like to put them in snack ziploc bags in a large Ziploc bag in freezer. Thaw a bag or two in the fridge over night and eat any time. So simple.
I keep the yeast in my freezer, it keeps viable well after the best by date. I always proof my yeast. I love the pesto. My only problem with the greenies is that they only have one size and my dog really should get the petite ones but it's still cheaper even if he gets bigger ones.
I have sawn them apart With a serrated kitchen knife
thanks for the tips about storing yeast in the freezer now i know know i just need to always proof it
Just switched membership from Sam’s to Costco (went on a Saturday morning, BAD IDEA!), so this is super-helpful. You even featured a bunch of items that I was already interested in!
I am always amazed about the sizes of every thing. Even the small items are huge.
Do the dark sweet cherries for his smoothies! They’re awesome mix it with some Banana and boom amazing smoothie!
Frozen bananas, cherries, and some peanut butter = peanut butter & jelly nice cream. Try it.
The fine texture and quality of the almond flour is also amazing. I hope my Costco has the salsa, will check, so excited!
Love you cup-in clips from random shows. Don’t know how you find ones that fit, but they’re great!!
I LOVE zevia. The creamy root beer tastes like A&W root beer to me.
Thanks for sharing this with us and taking us along..Happy Wednesday ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for the tips. Haven't tried the Burrata cheese yet. Have to get a pizza slice every once in a while. Wish they would bring back the loaded pizza. Please mention their bulk raw nuts. 2 pound bags Pecans, walnuts and almonds. Best price anywhere hands down. Thank you Christine. Stay warm and safe. Have a great week.
Thx Christine for the great info❤
I've said it before, but Christine brought it up again... I like the garbage syrup, too! 😬😂
Cherries are good for gout! 🎉
Those cherries look good. Can you give me ideas for using them please?
Don't sleep on the cooked bacon. I need to try that salsa! Thanks for the recs!
Liquid IV got me through the last 4 months of chemo. I drank it 1/2 strength when I was awake (slept about 14-18 hours a day)
I keep my Costco membership for cheese alone! All the things you pointed out I buy so I am feeling like a shopping pro right now!
Don’t have a Costco in our area(wish did though)!! But still will watch Mrs. Christine😊won’t miss any of her great videos!!! Thank You Christine for all you do
That is crazy. We have 9 within 30 miles of my house. Yep 9 and they are building 2 more.
@@tinas4946 😮 WOW!!
Hot dog lunch and rotisserie chicken definitely reasons for a Costco membership.
It’s really cool that you like Alani Nu. I went to high school with the owner and she is great!
It’s interesting to see what the Costcos in the states have. From what I’ve seen in Atlantic Canada, other than the croissants, rotisserie chicken, produce, cheese and frozen berries/mangoes, everything else is vastly different.
I asked my hubcap if he's seen some of the items you were mentioning - and he laughed and commented, "She's funny!" Yep!! You always make me smile, Christine! We should be able to get these things in our Costco - we're in the next state west of you! Thank you for your informative - and amusing! - videos! (and yes, I really DO call him my hubcap!)
I did not like Zevia when I first went keto 5 years ago but I kept drinking it and now I love it and it tastes sweeter somehow.
Zevia cream soda is spot on! So yummy, no guilt
At first I hated Zevia but now I love it. My favorite flavors are Black Cherry and Root Beer
lol so cute with the energy drink constraint 😂
Great video 💕 and I do buy most of the items you mentioned. I love the rotisserie chicken and the hot dog/drink. Also, my husband prefers the Log Cabin syrup.
I live far from the 3 in Austin. I go maybe every other month with a list that I stick to. Lamb & wild salmon are the best price.
I agree with the croissant taste test. They are the best of anywhere.
Love your Costco hauls❤🎉 Ty
Great video--as always!! Thank you! A quick observation for California friends...SF Bay Area Costcos seem to charge anywhere from $2-10 higher for all of these items mentioned in this video. California is in its own world when it comes to shopping for groceries, etc. Would love to hear from any other CA residents who also enjoyed this video but were actively looking up how much it cost at their local Costco only to find it costs more... I checked all of the Costcos in the general East/South Bay areas.
I’m in St Augustine FL and everything is at least $1 more here than in this video
Went to get the alani 18 pack and it was $24.89 here
Their food court pizza is also a steal, and it's DELISH. About $10 for a HUGE pizza or about $2 a slice.
Agreed. Can easily feed 5 or more. Great deal!
Yes almond flour for the win and avocado oil, you won my heart!
That quinoa has ALREADY BEEN RINSED!!! Awesome deal- a must buy.
YES! Black cherries are the very best fruit on the planet! Cherries have the most distinctive taste, like nothing else!
Great suggestions. Yes those prices are amazing! Thanks
Great suggestions, thanks! I’m definitely going to pick up some of these frozen cherries, I’ve never purchased them before. I like to cook my quinoa in vegetable broth or chicken broth to help the flavor.
😂are they seedless for smoothies?
Love the LMNT! I add one daily to my water!
Thank you, Christine! Going to Cosco as soon as I can. ❤😂
Also, I would consider getting a Costco membership just for the almond poppy seed muffins because Sam's hasn't carried them in years. But maybe I shouldn't because I don't need to eat a package of giant muffins on the regular. 🤔 Going to stick to Sam's for now.
We go to Costco for the optometrist and rx glasses. Great deal.
My husband used to go to the hearing center before he lost his hearing. Great price.
Just wanted to let you know I'm new to your channel n you are awesome. The granola recipe was a total winner and omg the food budget 🎉
So glad this video came out because I’m bout to go to Costco today!
I'm living in the Netherlands, so we don't even have Costco's. But I like to see all the great stuff you guys can buy😍
You need to try the Kirkland Greek Yogurt, fat-free and high in protein. Add a little honey and it's sweet, but we also add it to savory dishes. $6.99 and it is huge. It is hands down the best Greek Yogurt we have tried.
I just got a membership and I couldn't get over the price difference on some items. I saved $3 on the rotisserie chicken compared to Publix. And the selection of organic products is much larger than I expected.
Thanks for the video. The closest Sam's ( No Costco around at all) for me is 45 min away. I used to go a few times a year but I was spending so much money and don't have the space to store the bulk items. If they were closer I would go more often and buy less at a time. I love seeing your videos though.
Get plus and let them ship to you! Game changer! They also have more organic items on their list if you do shipping. It's annoying bc I didn't want to pay for plus but it was the only way to get some organic stuff from there. Of course not everything can be shipped. I get it. I'm also 45 min from one.
Zevia is delicious! My favorite is the ginger ale but is not in Costco box.
The goat cheese with the cranberries is delicious, try it before they are gone for the season.
My daughter just moved to Grand Prairie TX, we had no idea about the salsa!! I hate hot dogs but love Costco’s!!
I found your channel when I wanted to find out how my friends in the USA prepare for a possible crisis. Very interesting content indeed! This is currently a big topic here in Germany. I subscribed straight away and look forward to more content. Well done!
You will love her!!!
I love Costco of course but I miss your monthly shopping haul summary videos and cooking / pantry clean out videos.
Love Zevia! My favorite flavor is Mountain Zevia.
I absolutely love your videos!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love zevia, I don't drink it everyday and never was a soda person but if I want something sweet it fulfills my craving without sugar. I like the citrus flavors, blackcherry, and gingerale
Had a combo for lunch Monday 🌭 🥤
Y’all better grab those chocolate coconut almonds that were behind her at the end. Bite size Almond Joys!
For smoothies. Try papaya, guanábana, brand goya in the freezer section... the best. Just trying to help...
Christine! You can make syrup with mapleine and brown sugar and water. Simmer 1 cup water 2 cups brown sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 teaspoon mapleine until thick. My mom used to make this all the time instead of buying syrup, and when she did I found I couldn’t do less than the real stuff.
What is mapleine?
@@lisahaney9019It’s imitation maple. But you can make this recipe the exact same way by using maple extract
Christine, do a frugal superbowl party food video next!
That pesto is excellent!
My Aldi's had the salsa!! I was excited the bottle was smaller and I got a mild and medium. Hope I like it.
Love your videos 😍 btw, that word on your sweater 'peloton' means fearless in Finnish, suits you 💪🏼
Amen to using real parm lol
The croissant debate was very entertaining. Awesome video!
The Costco BBQ chickens are $6.99 here in Australia however, we pay $12.00 for the same at Woolworths and Coles Supermarkets. So funny the difference in countries. Another great video Christine. Jo xxx
If you wrap the lettuce or any produce in a paper towel or cheese cloth, it absorbs the moisture and it makes my produce las a lot longer.
Hola. Christine. I was looking to order directly from LMNT thanks gor the free code. I just place the order. God bless you and your family💖
Laughing Cow spreadable is $3.89 each in my stores minimum here in Michigan! So that is super cheap to buy where you are 😮
I love Zevia Orange, root beer and cream soda. Not so much ginger ale, though the grandkids love it.
I have been having a thing lately for the cafeteria pizza. I don't eat it hot, though. I chill it and put Louisiana brand hot sauce on it. Don't ask me why, ask the food jag gods😂
I so appreciate you 🤗
I agree with you on the yogurt this one is so good. I can’t eat a lot of cheese (very little actually) our avocados at Costco have still been like 8.99😮
Been wanting a Costco membership!!
Watch for deals on their membership. Very often (and recently) they do the purchase a membership for $60 - receive a $40 (maybe $45, I forgot) Costco Gift Card!
Those yogourts are so good my husband loves the Oikos brand! We can't get those little ones at our Costco in Canada. At least not the last time I looked. The produce at Costco is always really fresh too. The jug of Kirkland maple syrup is $15.99 in Canada.
I use Zevia for my occasional cocktail (Dominican Rum) so I use the cola one. Not that a cocktail is healthy by any means, but I try to avoid the HFCS or Artificial Sweetener in most other sodas. Does it taste the same? NO! but it will do.
Alani, Christine you gotta score your making big $$ go GET it GIRL!!!!!
I love the Costco Cesar dressing. I wish they sold it in store.
