go for it , its a shame that some folk cant just look at a nice car and be happy for its owner , appreciate that they have worked for the cash to buy it , and leave it at that. A good end result , well done.
TBH Most of the flashier cars these days seem to be driven by those with subsidised cheap rents and bought on finance for a pittance a month and they will never actually own them, just show off in them to satisfy their inflated egos. Still no excuse for criminal damage though 😡
Some one keyed my car yesterday. It's extremely deep 😮💨😮💨 while I am happy that you found a relatively cheap solution, it still bugs me that I have to pay for this. Thank you for the awesome video!
Happy new year mate! 🎉 and all the best for 2025. Love your videos are always interesting and make me laugh!😂 Don’t ever loose your attitude 👍😂 cheers 🍻
I've used one on my C1 headlights and it works but doesn't last too long ... maybe 6 months before it needs doing again. The kit I used has plenty of the polishing paste so have used about 4 times now. The included wipes that add a shiny lacquer on the lights only lasts 2 applications though. The paste works well enough to remove the cloudiness and I'm personally not that bothered about the shininess of the light lenses and my 16 year old car 😂
Yea, as already said. The kits make the headlights look great, but it doesn’t last as once used the uv protection is gone. They usually need polishing again after about 6 months in my experience, but they don’t usually need the whole sanding part just a quick polish.
Instead of using black paint to fill the scratches, try using just clear lacquer as that’s the top layer. Appreciate some may say well it’s through to the metal, but you might be surprised. Obv stick to your wet sanding after like you were etc
@@davyarthurs yea a lot of the scratch wasn’t through to the under coat but some was unfortunately. The way to test it is to wet it. If it goes more faint then it’s in the lacquer, but if it doesn’t then it’s through.
When I got my mk6/ Audi a3 8p the car was apparently keyed amd looked so bad, but it actually turns out the previous owner tried to touch in a light scratch all down the side, touch up paint just flicked off and I polished out the scratch like new, so lucky 😂
I've been doing a few touch up jobs recently and as u c it's unbelievable that u put paint and clear onto of a scratch, ssnd and Polish it all and at the end u can still c it ?? Wtf ! Really annoying But good effort!
Yea, I think this as about as good as a touch up gets tbh. It really is pretty much invisible now. It shows up more on the camera where I’m pointing to it than you can see it in real life by eye. You’ve really got to get down to the same level as it and about a foot away from it to see it now

My old boss had a audi tt when they first came out back in 00 time lovely red one. Doesn't matter where he parked it it always ended up keyed up. 😮

Amazing result. Was it the drone that caused the scratch? Lol. I'm gonna try this on bonnet chips. Thanks for sharing.

You mite benefit from some black tcut colour magic to get rid the last of the little scratches or some of chemicals guys black car polish
@AlfCove that’s not a bad shout tbh, it’s really hard to see even as it is tbh
The bit you polish on a modern car is clear, as in the clear coat. So polishes for different colours etc is just a myth/marketing rubbish.
@ the black stuff does have pigment in that seems to stick into deeper scratches to make them more subtle though.
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos quite a few different polishes have fillers but they soon wear off :-(
