    Great video. Seriously, brother, I'd consider creating an entire video tutorial on the MPC from turning it on, to sampling, editing, sequencing and mixing. And I'd charge a nominal fee for it and I think lots of people will see value in that. Just my opinion. Thank you again for the video. You're a blessing to the MPC community.

      It’s definitely worth it at least for the style of music that I make which is sample bass hip-hop it’s been perfect and a very smooth workflow for what I do. I’m sure you’ll kill it if you pick one up.

      Yes, I’ve been having so much fun copying my sample programs and doing different variations adding affects and filters and just getting creative in general with a duplicate program.

    Awesome video as always! I have a question, If I have my sample chops in track 1 with its own program and then I duplicate the program as you did in the video, does the duplicate has its duplicate track? I still get confused with that :S

    • @malobeats
      @malobeats  3 роки тому

      Hey Eric, thank you for taking the time and dropping this comment. To answer your question in regards duplicating the program, it only duplicates the program itself not the track but you could duplicate the track also if you would like that but in this case I just created a new track and I signed it To the duplicate program that I had created in this video

    Can u please using ur mpc 2000xl again, I own it but I'm still learning, I'm thinking about selling it and buy an mpc one but I'm not really sure...

    • @malobeats
      @malobeats  3 роки тому +1

      Hey and thank you for checking out the video. I love my 2000 XL and I do not plan on selling it but honestly I don’t use it at all ever since I picked up the MPC one. The MPC one is so much faster and so much more convenient in every way, just the newer technology and workflow make everything so much faster the only difference is that the 2000 XL does have a slight sound difference but it’s not that noticeable.

    Thank you for the vid G.If you dont mind I have a question.When you record the video how you capture the signal from the mpc ? Is it through your mic or you send the signal into your camera?

    • @malobeats
      @malobeats  3 роки тому +1

      Hey brotha, yea i’m not gonna lie I’m still trying to figure this out myself but at the moment is working pretty good, I am filming this on a canon see 200 which has for inputs in the camera so I’m coming out of the MPC into the C 200 and my microphone is plugged in to the input of the C 200 as well the only downside about the set up is that the preamp‘s on the seat 200 are pretty cheap so it degrades the quality a little bit from the beats. The best thing to do here would be to purchase the zoom H6 so I could get everything into the zoom H6 and just run one output from the zoom H6 into the sea 200 and be able to film everything like that

      Hey brotha yes, I actually build one 4 bar sequence and once I’m feeling comfortable with the sequence I end up duplicating it a few times so it a long sequence and I end up using my mute groups to build the song all together

    I wanted to some help if I’ve got say 6 different samples but want them all chopped and fitting to any timing I can not work it out correctly all different Bpms everyone is showing playing the chops in but if not if you have various7 different bpm loops if that makes sense different layers7 in time but sliced

    • @malobeats
      @malobeats  2 роки тому

      Hey John Doe, this is a very complex and interesting question as it is not easy to execute this task specially if you’re working with six different samples with different BPMs It would have to be a very strategic workaround as how you chop up your samples and playing with the pitch or time stretching them to match all of them. This is something I’ve never done before but if anybody else is reading this and has experimented with six different samples I would love to hear your input and workflow. Blessings brother and thank you for dropping by

    Hi! Sorry if you covered this in another video (if so let me know and I’ll check it out) but my track 1 samples (drum samples) play even though I muted them in the track mute page. I even deleted the midi notes so the grid screen is also blank but I still hear them!!
    This is after I’ve exploded them but I’ve muted the exploded tracks too! Is this a glitch?
    In other words ALL tracks are muted but the samples in track 1 still play :-(
