      I know exactly the feeling, a while back I was considering upgrading to the newest version of Ableton but realized that I never touch it unless I’m going to mix and master. 90% of the time I’m on my MPC stand alone mode since it has everything I need within it.

      I have a question do you have a video on how to take a sample filter it and make it the bass on one track, take the same sample put it on another track without it being linked to the first track now I have 2 tracks of filtered low end when one should be low end and the other on track 2 free for me to create a pattern... Same loop used two ways.
      Help a brah out what you get for a brand new MPC - ONE student?.......lol😁

      Hey brother, I appreciate you taking the time and checking out the video. I know what you mean, there’s times where I would keep adding to my beat and at the end it would be a bit too cluttered now I find myself only with 2 to 3 tracks per beat and these have more emphasis and knock a lot harder.

    • @malobeats
      @malobeats  2 роки тому +1

      This is an awesome question, and it really has helped out a lot in my beat making workflow with my MPC. Most of the times I work on the MPC and once I have the foundation done I run my outputs from the MPC into the 404 and start adding some texture and sound effects to my entire mix, I find that the SP404 has some very interesting grimy hip-hop sound that it gives my entire beats so it really helps me see the full vision of how I want this beat to sound like. The 404 is not something I need but it is very fun to use and to implement within my workflow.

      @@malobeats Great. I was contemplating on getting one, even though I can afford one, and didn’t wanna add a new piece of gear I wasn’t going to be using as much. Don’t get me wrong, I do like it but didn’t wanna invest into something new that I would sit back up some where. Maybe if I learn about it more it might make more sense to get.

      I’m glad you noticed those minor details, man this entire album was full of gems I’m thinking of doing another beat With a few more tracks from this album, they definitely have some hard hitting horns
