Only if he is tall. Middle Eastern guys are only considered attractive if they are tall, so that they can fit the "tall, dark and handsome" stereotype. You would only lower your standards for a Middle Eastern guy if he compensates for his wrong race by being tall.
Me ex bf was Persian .. he was super jealous Other than that I love when they speak English with their accent It’s so hot 😍 My current bf is Persian I guess I can’t get enough of them 😍
The jealousy is actually a cultural thing. Boys in Iran are taught that if you care about a woman (mother,sister,wife,girlfriend,etc.) you have to be super protective of her. Their manhood is very much dependent on this & implying that a man is not protective of the woman around him is an actual insult that can lead to physical violence. Of course this leads to some men to think they have the right to be controlling but it's mostly the older generation that gets hardcore about it.
@Emily Gomez You are very right. Of course they can change it & they should. This sort of thing in the culture has deep roots in patriarchy. It's natural that it drives modern women away. I was just saying how the generality is. I myself have experienced it so many times with people and it is NOT cute. Marrying outside the race is actually good because it introduces new societal views & promotes change to Iranians who have been closed off and living in a bubble for far too long.

Ok so these guys have money and they pay attention to their appearances also. My husband best friend is Persian and he is over the top . As far as material objects. the persian mom part... omg that was true af xD btw you had to mention that how kind hearted and supportive we are cuz we value family above every other things
Culture gap is huge. Mom runs the family and you should be ready to be absorbed into the family. If you don't want to deal with families you can find a first generation immigrant since they're a lot cooler and have less cultural baggage and you don't have to care about their family since their families are in Iran
There are some problems with what you have mentioned. Actually Taarof is a cultural gesture of politeness and kindness and to my experience, foreigners love it too. We believe guests and family members have to be treated in the best way possible. And that’s why we have Taarof!

Exactly. Before the Americans came to our region, relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia were always good. Despite the language difference, the culture of all West Asian peoples has many similarities. And this issue has also caused our solidarity. God willing, after the westerners leave the region, it will be good again. In the near future.🇮🇷❤️🇸🇦

Oh my, Marina, yet another great video! I really appreciated the thoughts you put into the execution of the scenes, for example, the closeup shot at 4:19 how Alexandra destroyed the nicely portioned sause and the follow up innocent "Uh?" afterwards - the plot was anticipated, but the execution made it much funnier. The same goes with the brother coming in with the mom on the phone after he already turned off his own phone - was not expecting that either. By the way, very nice to see Alexandra again - she is one of my favorite cast in your videos! Cheers.

"ta 'arof" thing might be unusual to Americans who arn't from the American South, but us Southern people have our own version of this so at first I wasn't sure what the point was when watching this example. Then I caught on and laughed :D
It was completely true. Persian men are very supportive. At the time of friendship, they are gifts, but for foreigners who may not know, I must say that after marriage, a Persian man pays all the small and big expenses of his wife, which means exactly the case of becoming a queen. A Persian man treats his wife exactly like a Persian cat. You just have to sit and be cute and they will give you whatever you want 😂🤍 But another feature that all Persian men have that was not mentioned in this video is that they are very jealous of the one they love. That is, if you treat another man a little sincerely, you should express your love to him intensely for a few days to prove to him that you love him more than anyone else :)))
This is actually pretty accurate and caught me off-guard. Specially the spending time and money on your looks, sadly. We probably spend like half of our salaries to clothing, cologne, hair stuff, watches, gym and etc.

So apparently I need to date a Persian man 😍
@Farhad Farsi lol
Only if he is tall. Middle Eastern guys are only considered attractive if they are tall, so that they can fit the "tall, dark and handsome" stereotype. You would only lower your standards for a Middle Eastern guy if he compensates for his wrong race by being tall.
@Sarah Gamble so i like horse sara :D \m/

Me ex bf was Persian .. he was super jealous
Other than that I love when they speak English with their accent
It’s so hot 😍
My current bf is Persian I guess I can’t get enough of them 😍
Im persian and im so lonley :( hahaha..... :(
And persians are not jealous ok!
Emily Gomez im a persian and all persians arent like that
loved the simultaneous getting ready bit. the whole video was so well made and edited. great job!

Ok so these guys have money and they pay attention to their appearances also. My husband best friend is Persian and he is over the top . As far as material objects. His wife literally shops at only high end stores and drives a brand new Audi. So this is really accurate. Also the sour food is right. My husband since he is Bulgarian finds it tough to stomach all the sour foods but I love it .

I so wanna marry a Persian Mexican man one day ❤️ what a man who would be respectful, provider, protector and sexually confident, bringing a blend of both cultures. I am Punjabi from Pakistan
Just marry a Persian guy. Mexicans are short.
Persian Mexican?… girl?…. And girl, I’m still traumatized by Punjabi Pakistani men. The last one tried to be abusive to me but I’m full blooded Latina born and raised in Latin America, none of his games worked, but he is indeed and evil man, a naive white girl would stand NO chance with him

As an Iranian I'd say it was totally on point 😁😁😁😁 Especially the part that we don't know how to flirt. Horse?! Really?! 😁😁😁🤣🤣 And about using too much cologne...well there is a reason for it...most Persian men are hairy, I mean like a bear(🐻) hairy😁😁 and this results in sweat...and horrific smell. 😁😁

Cheers.
Thank you!!

This is really great to share about International dating! We look forward to more episodes! Also we would love to do a video with you guys!
