Here is the full length video on making this belt buckle! Get a couple horseshoes and design one for yourself! If you so, send me a photo on my Instagram and tag me so I can share!!

Great job! I do some stuff with horse shoes too, the price of them has really gone up in the last few years just like everything else I guess. I usually paint mine a color and then go back over the flat surface with a fine flap wheel and polish it nice and smooth so it looks almost like chrome then clear coat it.

I also thought I was using my angle grinder in the correct way when cutting steel, until I saw how Tony from Fitzee's Fabrications was doing it and realized there's a better way. He holds the grinder in his left hand and guides it with his right hand fore finger and thumb. This way your whole body is not inline with the disc or the sparks and looking diagonally at the front of the cut you have a much better view of what you are cutting. Just need to be mindful of where the sparks are going that nothing will catch fire. . BTW loved the Buckles.

🤣 Dann, I've been using vice grips wrong all these years!! Pulling the lever toward the lower handle instead of independently up toward the handle with the tension screw in it 🤯🤯🤣 Wow....I was looking for a way for you to modify yours, when I realized, I essentially just pull the hadles away from each other instead of using the leverage of the release lever. Kinda looks like you're doing it the same way I did with your fancy pair of grips that were giving you all the trouble.

Nice 👍 one thing you can do on the vice grips to help unlock them is weld a small round bar on the tensioner bolt to make a T handle or drill a hole so you can slip a screwdriver through it for easy turning. I got the idea from my very expensive but worth it snapon vice grips they have a spot to fit a hex wrench in the tensioner screw so you can tighten or losen the vice grips.

What is the weight of the finished 🧲 horse in shoue buclar? And how to measure and design the leather buckler and belt. Did you use fastener or studs to lup the leather belt? Very nice.
