Welcome! If you are new to the channel, I'm ti8ick (pronounced tibick or tibs), a Streamer/UA-camr that has fallen down into the rabbit hole of Warhammer 40k. A lot of people recommended me to watch Starcraft 2's cinematic because of the similarities with Warhammer 40k and here we are! I'm thinking of watching the whole cinematics about Kerrigan, including the in-game ones, what do you think? Maybe about the Protoss too, they look SO COOL.
You can watch the rest of my Blizzard reactions here: • Reacting to Blizzard C...

My life... for Aiur!...
Zerathul - best bro.❤🩹
We joke around with our friends that they are actually saying: My wife for hire.
Fan fact, one eyed zealot's name is Kaldalis. He is in a Blizzard short, talking with his leader Hierarch Artanis right before this cinematic about being an Akhundelar (Tip of the spear, a voluntary position whom are sent in the first wave of an attack, accepting high probability of death).
I think the short was called Reclamation and its really good
More fun facts, the cinematic is very accurate to the game play. For example, the zealot runs through two banelings before the third killing them both (correct for gameplay). And the hightemplar fusing into an archon is also accurate to game time of them merging.

Those who know, know!
@@Mandred85 And those who reaaaaaaaaaaaly know, know it was a cheat code in sc1 :p
"where did he go?" you know space and time? yeh, not there
The Protoss voice lines are actually so badass
starcraft 1 protoss voice lines are better I think
Protoss are a combination of Tau looks, Eldar psyker powers and Imperium zealous mentality.
Zerg are the overall baddies, but Terran continues to war amongst themselves and Protoss are trying to stay out the way but highly tech and telepathic based.
Idk... It's a bit more covoluted. Protoss have the superiority complex throughout the majority of the game. Terrans are just power hungry assholes like always and Zerg are technically bio weapon out of control.
I recommend watching the cutscenes from (1)Wings of Liberty to (2)Heart of the Swarm to (3)Legacy of the Void, it's really good if you do not want to take the time to play the game, story is amazing, at least in my opinion.
Yeah, I think I will! I'm very intrigued by the whole story! Thank you for watching 😊
There are 2 Versions of the Cutscenes. One where you only see the Cutscenes in Order and one with a Narrator who explains what happend in the Missions. I recommend the second. More immersive and you get a better understanding of the Story.
I think you need to watch the original story arc and broodwar 1st for kerrigans complete story arc.
Gotta watch the og game story and broodwars story 1st for the whole Kerrigan and Reynor story arc. Blood Angels best marines!
@@Sanguinarius9999 I agree
Yes, the Protoss are the elves of Starcraft!
Blizz took inspiration from the Eldar for the Protoss, and GW took inspiration from the Protoss for the Tau. That's a virtuous cycle.
Probius saved the day.
You should try looking up the Warhammer fantasy trailers in Warhammer total war 1-2-3
im not a fantasy fan, BUT i saw an epic trailer(think it was a mix of WH fantasy trailers) with badass 2 Steps from Hell music and it was e.p.i.c.!
@@tyrionlannister4920 that does sound epic. I recommend watching the tomb kings trailer, it is epic, and the Chaos Dwarfs as well.
Tibs, the first campaign is free since like 2018 or whatever and it has 4 difficulty levels, first one being playable by absolutely anyone. Give it a shot. Its great
Probably the best Blizzard cinematic ever made.
Yes, this + Lich King + Diablo IV for me (others are great too, but this 3 is just perfect).
@@Ddarth_sidious Cinematics are relative to the emotional connection of the content, if it has no connection, it does nothing for me. Which is why Diablo 4 is just trash for me.. its beautiful from an artistic view, but it has no impact emotionally cause the game and its narrative doesnt. And something like The War Within cinematic, is probably the most beautiful they have made, but again.. it means nothing, so it becomes irrelevant.
Still one of their best cinematics....and that's saying a lot for the people who are the undisputed Kings of cinematics
The whole package of Blizzard cinematics is just something else entirely.
Its actually really sad that Blizzard's OG creators and producers left the company after their sale to the bigger publishers.
90s & early 2000s Blizzard was The powerhouse of gaming culture. When Blizzard stated they were halting the release of their game because it wasn't good enough to release to their fans, the fans believed and respected the statement. It was a glorious era of amazing product.
epic 200 gateway proxy
for uninitiated : protoss can instead of building it at the gateway (infantry building) warp in single unit per gateway anywhere in pylon range, more gateways - more warp ins. Therefore it was somewhat cheesy to build many gateways and sneak in a pylon somewhere close to enemy base and spawn army there.
Never played Starcraft but I always adored this cinematic.
The effects are exceptional and the ending always makes me choke up a little.
Love the cinematics on this game, and the story is great too
Happy Wednesday Ti8ick
She not yet seen Artanis badass video.=)
I think you'd love watching the Total War Warhammer 1,2 and 3 trailers and cinematics. Its in their Fantasy universe but they are really well done. Also some of the in game cinematics and movies from Battlefleet Gothic 1 and 2 if you want to stick with ones from 40K as they are very very well done. Especially the intro movie to 2 as they show the iconic Fall of Cadia and the beginning of the 13th Black Crusade.
After you watch starcraft try to watch all cinematic of diablo it gaves more goosebumb..
Regarding the Queen of blades Lore.
Her becoming a Zerg is in wings of liberty & the best Story is in Heart of the swarm
Most are in-game cinematics though, so U might miss some if going only for all cinematics 😊
Need the construction of additional pylons.
Story of starcraft 2!
There is a launch trailer called "Vengeance Trailer - StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm", its second half is pretty epic!
Watch, StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void - Reclamation
I think that SC2 cinematics desefve more than watching just the trailer. The games are littered with high quality cinematics, especially the third one, which has CGI cinematics in game.
For example the "alone" cinematic from lotv is as good as the trailer.
Fanboys always get such goosebumps, at the reveal of the humble Pylon.
Its kind of cool, and kind of sad to hear a non-know-er say "so its just.. a crystal...? - and why are those guys over there cheering and hi5-ing.. over a crystal?"
Because they know- the battle the battle was going poorly. Down to the last man, standing defiantly like a prequel to Captain America standing alone against the hordes... then the pylon revealed (in my head I hear him say "for we are never alone"), and just like that the battle shifted, and its about to get real. Sideways.
Just wait till she find the red protoss...they're a whole new level of badass. Like Chaos Protoss XD
You really need to watch both intro and outro cinematics. Losing so much without watching in-between and last video.
i loved stacraft II
don't forget the first starcraft cinematics, also maybe diablo2 cinematics to see more blizzard masterclass (they even remasterd them)
Moar Chaosgate Daemonhunters plz!
In Warhammer I can definitely say that, in my opinion, the Tyranids are superior to Tau/etc. but on StarCraft I really can’t decide on either Zerg or protos. Both are amazing.
Protos are kind of a mix of Tau (from looks) and Aeldari (from powers) and both (technology).
Looks are actually both, look at the helmets for the Eldar minis - Protoss heads are basically Eldar helmets.
The moral alignment of zerg and protoss changed drastically with Starcraft 2
Finest example: Alarak
Protoss are pretty much a mix between Grey Knights and Tau... but their Lore is kinda like Eldar 😅
Ah, yes the trailer that primed all Toss players for deep dive into Protoss lore in campaign only for actual game to completely shat all over it and destroy it so it cannot be used going forward. The most ancient and advanced race in this universe has according to the story willingly gotten rid of it´s culture and ancestral memories. Khala, that even Dark Templar individualists could have been a part of if they so chose and was always the greatest strength of the Protoss became a derided weakness. Their formerly telepathic society has splintered and the only major unified faction is a militant cult that is hostile even to other Protoss. According to the unit descriptions they were already unable to create their most advanced tech anymore as they no longer understood it after their isolationist period, their colonies are cut off from each other and were never a major population centers so they are unlikely to survive the next age. Thanks Blizzard for the love you have shown our faction after riding the Zerg and Kerrigan apologist hype train, so glad we supported you for all these years. Never again.
You need to watch the game campaign movies to get the full story.
Should watch the mantle of the dark templar.
En Taro Artanis!
Tibick PLEASE PLEASE! Do at least a cinematics reaction!
Gotta play StarCraft Broodwar Fastest Map! Skill level High. Fun fun fun
The Protoss are best described as high tech but also hyper-religious. Almost a contradiction. In gameplay, they have the fewest numbers being the most powerful of the races. 4 zerglings = 2 terran marines = 1 protoss zealot.
Is it really religion if everything they believe in is factual? Xel'naga are real after all.
Please play the trilogy 🙏 The story alone is worth it.
Ну все, я влюбился
You should play to the first game
Hey Ti8ick you lovely sweetie cute hope your mid- week is bright 😊😅💝
they r kinda the elves , KINDA
Yo
Well, what kind of TAU are they? After all, they went to HtH XD
Please please please react to Pig casting a florencio game
Blizzard used to be this good...
Unfortunately, most Protoss are selfrighteous pricks who bore me to death - except for a dude called Alarak. He's hilarious :D. Protoss aren't really "good". They are about honour and glory in battle and all that nonsense, and some of them have a genuine interest in "saving the universe", but overall, culturally they are a tightly hierarchic, xenophobic bunch with a superiority complex (probably justified, since their tech is bonkers), who suffer probably more from infighting and having a stick up their arse, than they do from anything else.
Strictly speaking, not even the Zerg are "the baddies". There are other forces at work, including a BBEG - which is unfortunate, because that whole story arc turned, what started as a pretty cool, morally grey space-western-opera thing, into your typical "Oh no! the Universe is in peril!" good vs. evil trope. Ah well. Still an amazing series of games. Highly recommended.
You are so cute❤❤❤
Essentially starcraft originally was supposed to be a wh40k game but for some reason it didn't happen so the space marines became the terrans, the tyranids became the zerg and the eldari(space elves) became the protoss.
Source?
its worth watching the whole game of starcraft 2 as a "game movie." blizzard are good fantasy story writers if nothing else.
👇 if you are protoss player
