- Solo fishing adventure where I tried out the new Garmin Livescope LVS34 transducer while catching staging salmon waiting to spawn. Really fun catching fish in the daytime using simple crankbaits on SW Dipsy, planer boards and downrigger.

I've smoked fall salmon and had them turn into mush. Hope you had better luck.
I added a Twili Tip to my SW Dipsy rods as my loop would hang up at times. Never an issue now.

Nice setup you got there with the livescope. I just mounted a Garmin PS30 on my boat. That thing looks both forwards and backwards. Looking forward to play with next winter/spring.

Hello Jedd, i get my S-clips from Menards. They are sold as key holders. Look at a hardware store where they would cut keys. They should be nearby. Good luck 👍
Great video , missed you this year . I went out this weekend and the kings were just starting to come into the bay they were planted in . I caught one 11 lber but lost three others . Do you change out you hooks to keep them pinned better ? Can't run with them at all when casting off shore

how long (late in the year) can you go out on the main lake and catch salmon?
I've caught silver kings in November out of Kewaunee.

How many of those stocked kings you catch were stocked in lake Huron? I know they say Rogers city lake Huron has the highest returns but a lot are caught in Wisconsin waters . Just wondering if that's true

Hi Nick, How are you keeping the live scope pole mount stable in the water. The mount that it comes with seems to make the pole shake as I’m trolling. Thank you
Yeah you need a good pole and mount. Lots of choices out there now. I'm using a Fishing Specialties www.fishingspecialties.com/ pole and mount. I also put it so the boat blocks the direct water pressure. I have it set up to move to 4 different places on my boat but I do have to adjust the height of the pole stopper.
