i like to put a split ring on the bead chain, hook on with swivel just like an ace hi. the chances your getting your plug back is pretty much zero anyways.
I always thought that J plugs required a pretty high troll speed that doesn’t really match up with the other flashers and lures??? How fast are you pulling the J plug???
The great thing about jplugs is that they’re very speed tolerant! Don’t be scared to go slow with them. That last slow and wide wobble can really trigger those neutral/negative Kings.
Don’t see the harm in sharing some info to help folks out. Ultimately it’s still on that person to implement it all properly to actually catch fish. 🤷🏽♂️
You are right about stacking but your ass backwards flasher fly goes above everything! So the fish go through all your baits when going UP to your flasher that attracts the fish! You do you but should not give backwards advice
Hey bud, if that’s how you run your stuff and it works…God Bless. Doesn’t sound like anything how folks in my area fish it. Maybe you fish for Salmon out in the west coast or something and do stuff differently idk. That said, I know what I’m talking about and it’s highly effective. So I’ll continue to offer it as advice for folks to try out ✌🏽
