Another great video! Looking forward to the October Blue Zone strategy. Thanks again for the great information. I’ve never run my flies that close to the flasher. Will definitely be trying that next stager outing.
Mind blowing ! Great information saves a new angler years of learning just by listening to this! That fish that kept going for the spin doctor was unreal! Had a feeling they do that now you answered it with proof !
Thanks for reaching out and passing this along. We really enjoy using this platform to help share countless years of knowledge that don’t really apply anywhere else in the world. And if it helps advance anglers, like yourself have better outings It’s great to share
Great video . I love my 185 Alumicraft with exception of the drivers side council. It's basicly falling appart and manufacturer is realy trying to not wattanty it . Mine is a 2022 so Covid quality is bag .How's yours holding up ? Time now to go after them again 😛
That’s too bad. We absolutely love the set up. And luckily haven’t had any issues like that. A perfect Great Lakes boat for chasing these kings. Hopefully they can catch up with your issues now things are are a bit more relaxed in the industry after the COVID craze
Not sure about wisdom but definitely many hours spend trying to understand the mindset of theses stagers. There are countless ways to hook up these kings. We had fun shooting this video especially with the under water footage strengthening a lot our theories while explaining our approach. This is the perfect time of year to target them which typically only last a moth at best. Good luck out there
Port Hope has some incredible fishing this time of year. Probably the best stager fishing Lake Ontario offers. Although it Sounds like they are a little later this showing up this season they’ll be there. I’d say you’re in good spot. Best of luck
Sorry for the late reply Our camera guy used a troll pro camera housing designed for use on down riggers. It comes with attachment with a short cable to get away from the cannon ball disturbance. We ran pretty short leads to help keep in the camera view. But honestly works great.
Our camera guy used a “troll pro camera housing” designed for trolling behind down riggers. We ran a pretty short lead but the housing is designed to take away any wobbling and turbulence. Works well
We’ve haven’t personally tried em but out side of musky hooks possible being a bit large I’m sure you could trigger strikes with em in the stager grounds ya.
This is great!! Very informative and high-quality documentry?..

I have found the shorter the lead quicker the speed but let us know how it works for you

Ever try the second hole on your SDs for a more aggressive rotation? 3mph is probably too fast for that?
Thanks for the information on rigging flies for trolling. Good, on point advice!

how are you rigging the camera to your set for that shot angle and avoid wobbling while trolling?

Does anyone ever try musky lures to get aggression strikes. Like bucktails, or larger crankbaits?
