I am glad FX is finally putting out repair video on there guns . It would be nice to have a breakdown on parts for each gun like the FX Bobcat mk2 , hard to find !
Thank you , by following the video I manage to repair a leak on my air tube and get 880pfs velocity with my fx wild cat 0.22 and 18.13 gr. Bro’s, you have leak it’s better replace all seals on regulator and others as well it will not cost you high for seals and it solve you almost all leaks.
It is a pleasure to watch these videos with such valuable technical information. Thanks to this video I am about to fix my Ben Taylor and Son regulator installed in my FX Cyclone (it is bigger than the one shown in your video, which by the way I have it in my FX royale 400). But this mission is not possible without knowing the measurements of the internal O-rings of this regulator (I do know the measurements of the external ones). Without this information, it would be necessary to acquire a new complete tank without drilling, and add a regulator from another brand. Could you tell me your measurements? I would be very grateful. Kind regards.
Hey Ermest great work as always! I just got a Bobcat to add to my inventory, barely used. I assume this video also covers the Bobcat? I cannot find much teardown info Please advise if you can your videos, including, I’m told, Royale as it is supposed to have the same action. Greatly appreciated!
I set my regulator pressure @ 120 that's why my gun very seldom leaks if it does I just replace or readjust it maybe even drop it I used to run it at 140-150psi and it didn't like it was shooting erratic.
Happy holidays mr.rowe.just wondering if you could let us know where we can buy tee handle Allen's and Allen bits for cordless drill with links to purchase them as too the aerosal for checking for air leaks, and what you do for cleaning all the parts?
@@FXAirguns Huma Regulator (in stead od Original) setting at 110 Bar for FX Wildcat mk1 and the speed is 850 fps (approx). Whenever adjusting from My Scope at target shooting, it always change the consistency after refilling from scuba. So, what can be the reasons?
I have a leak issue. Replaced the two big and small orings on the regulator. But didn’t open up the one you showed here. Still have a leak seaping threw the little port between the barrel and the holding tank. Would doing what you showed on this video solve my leak issue
Changed out all the rings even the very small ones inside. Lube up the seals double checked everything carefully and it still has that slow leak. I just left it like that. Im out of ideas.
Nice video Ernest. A quick question. How do I get the regulator pressure to be higher. Let's say 145 bar. I see that I have tightened down the nut very hard already. Will turning the brass nut counter clockwise a bit for more piston travel help increase the regulator pressure too?
You need to tighten CW the nut to increase reg pressure, while you have an Allen wrench on the piston to prevent piston from rotating. Attach a gauge on the action to confirm output of reg
@@ernestrowe927 sure. Will. Do. Will moving (screwing in and out) the brass knurled part which allows piston to move up and down help change the regulator pressure too? I am unsure about that.
Nice video. Ernest, Thank you for the clear explanation. My .22 wildcat has some issues. the velocity varies from 840 to 1230fps. It reaches max velocity from 4th shot onwards. Does it means that the regulator failed? Is it required rebuild from factory setting. Thanks in advance.
Yes need to reseal the reg, most likely it’s the HP oring on the pistons, while you have the reg apart replace all oring -- even though the my look new.
Do these increase ft/lbs power at the muzzle?.... I want to modify my sub 12ft/lb gun to achieve more I have an fac but don't want to spend the money on another gun
Hi Ernest. I bought a reg from HUMA for my Bobcat MK II .22 cal but I don´t remember wich way to put in the new reg after several month of buzzy working. Pressure numbers on the reg facing the trigger side? Or facing air tube ? Can you help me out ????
Numbers on tape are high pressure side, so that side to cylinder / high pressure air. The adjuster is inside the high-pressure which means obviously to adjust a huma regulator you have to take out of the cylinder.
Ernest, I have an fx Royal 400 (.22) and want to know if there is a regulator installed already. Is there a way to tell without taking the gun apart? I do see that there is a hole in the breech block just under the guns pressure gauge and the gun has the carbon fiber bottle... Does this mean the gun is regulated (because of the hole behind the regulator )? Thank you sir..
If you have a hole right behind the pressure gauge, you have a regulator. If you had a hole there, but no regulator, all the air would just leak out because that hole is right between the two o-rings on the regulator body.

Nice video.Great.
I hope that Fx is going to make video of complete x barrel dissasembly soon.
Good Ernest, thanks from Spain
Great video, very informative, any idea how you could release pressure from a locked up regulator installed in the tube.
Is there a video like this for the regulator in the FX Streamline?
Yesterday i pushed 1000th pellet thru my Streamline..i hope i won't be needing this repair soon lol
Nice explainations; thanks a lot!
FX should sell new replacement regulators already adjusted and set for plug in and play.

Finally , I managed to see your face.

Each and every refill from scuba to my wildcat mk1 tank, it need to adjust again from scope. What the reasons plz
What do you mean exactly, change the regulator setting ?

Whats the quickest and simplest way to increase power in my wildcat mkll señor? Gracias/ salamat
Do you make video fx royale 400?
Which rifle regulator is it ? Or all regulator are same in all air rifle ? Kindly be specific
Maybe someone can help me here. The regulator on my Avenge x will only adjust down to 1900-2000 psi. Is there any way to modify to get it lower ?

Doesn't FX have a service branch in North or South Carolina? They owe me an updated larger regulator on my Impact
Are the measurements not different for variable foot pound setting.
Where to get cool black and silver vertical pull on cocking lever

Mike Mayne It’s still being perfected with other parts that need to be upgraded. Probably March
After IWA in March
I love how Ernest never responds to anyones questions. also they never show taking off the reg. What's the point
stupid question aren't you the same guy that does RC reviews on UA-cam..?
