They were mind blowing ! They actually came out and played three songs in a row on this tour. First Rock and Roll, then Celebration Day and then Black Dog. They literally didn't stop - they'd come out and blow the audiences skull caps off with three non-stop rockers - all musically linked together. High energy and in your face
You’re right! They weren’t your normal, regular rock band. This was the best band at the best possible time. A lineup of technically-adept musical assassins, the ultimate unit. The band to end all bands.
sorry man, saw them twice in the uk, in 73 in a small provincial theatre that sat 2100, queued 27 hours for tickets, the whole 40+ date tour sold out in 40 minutes... and again in 75, the last night of their 5 night residency at Earls Court.. magic nights, simply the best band, 4 master musicians doing their thing, we'll never see their like again, i was blessed to grow up in the late 60's and early 70's, loving the reactions, cheers Tim, Gloucester, UK peace...
How can four guys illicit so many emotions from a person? Damn, they are the best. I’m like you, I wish I could have been at one of their concerts, especially the one at the Madison Square Garden. Thanks for showcasing this.
They used to play these 2 songs back-to-back on the radio. I’m 60 and there’s nothing and will never be anything like Led Zepplin. My teenage years in the 70’s. Yes, the music was that good. I love that you like and appreciate this band. Thanks for posting. I enjoy your channel!
Hey JoAnn, I too was a teenager in the 70s! I'm 61 now and I had TSRTS and Physical Graffiti. I borrowed I,II and Presence while in high school. Incidentally, on Don Kershner's Rock Concert they featured these two songs. Which, of course from TSRTS. That unfortunately was the only time I saw them live. But the music was really great by in da day. Grand Funk Railroad, BTO, ELO, KISS, Elton. 15 in '75. What a time.
Excellent and appropriate energy reaction for such greatness - two things I suggest. (1) go watch the short clip from "it might get loud" when Jimmy explains the drum set-up for "when the levee breaks" and how it changed rock drummers setting up forever forward - then go react to When the levee breaks = the drum intro is the best ever and Robert blows a mean harmonica. It's based on a true flood story in mississippi
John Henry Bonham ( the late ) one of the best, hardest hitting drummers ever. As well as Bill Ward of Black Sabbath. Bonham shines on When The Levee Breaks. Perfect rhythm.
Definitely The Ocean but also Since I've Been Lovin' You from the same concert. And if you are really feeling adventurous, try the half hour long version of Dazed and Confused from this concert. It's an all out jam!
When Led Zep emerged in 68 no one had seen anything like it! Their audience went off and invented “heavy metal” - completely missing the point! This is about more than loudness and head banging! You just been to church brother!
One of my favorite bands of all time….great to see younger generations with different backgrounds discovering and loving the music so many of us grew up on!
I’m lucky enough to be a teenager through the 60’s and 70’s ! I got to see a lot of awesome groups when living in Portland Oregon. I even saw Sonny and Cher in 1971! Love your reactions ☮️♥️😎🤟🏼
Next time you see some one in their 60’s or 70’s....just think to yourself....I wonder if he or she was a Zeppelin fan....Spooky, ain’t it 😎👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Looking at this at 62, if I could go back in time for one day it might very well be this day because I was here at MSG. It was insane as your imagination and then some. Love your reactions so would have to try convince you to come.
Another you should check out is their live track of “Kashmir” from celebration day concert done in their 60’s with John Bonham’s son Jason on drums. Amazing how good Plant could still sing at that age
I LOVE the live stuff and the visuals are awesome. Consider doing a bunch from the Mothership - recently remastered studio versions. What you will hear are incredible layers in the music...and again, consider jumping in chronologically now.
saw them 4 times and yeah they are bada$$. check out heart breaker/living loving maid, the lemon song, in my time of dying, you shook me, sick again, the rover, traveling riverside blues, houses of the holy
Love all the Led u do. On another note ~ Can you do MTV's 1st video by Dire Straits "Money for Nothing", the one with band playing. Can u also do Prince "Gett Off" and "Darling Nikki".
🤔😒😏 am I wrong for wishing Rush wore outfits like this. 😉🤭 I remember the cute kimono type thing Geddy use to wear open with no shirt. 😊 Smile everytime I see him in it on a video and think how good he'd look in Robert's outfit. Then you naturally jump to Alex in Jimmy's outfit.... 😏 It can't just be me... 🐰
You should check out a couple of their live performances from Earls Court - In My Time of Dying ua-cam.com/video/QuABqrvhLf0/v-deo.html and Heartbreaker ua-cam.com/video/MAZiuZORD38/v-deo.html
These tracks are in the reverse order on the album they come from, Led Zeppelin IV. If that's its title. Tired of justifying himself, guitarist Jimmy Page insisted that neither the band's name, nor a title, nor any information about them be printed on the LP cover. Instead, each group member was represented by a mysterious symbol on the inner sleeve - leading some to name it 'Four Symbols'. It absolutely didn't effect the sales, which continued to be phenomenal.
Wish page works edit a best of earls court. Def give 73 zep a run for its money and prob surpass this show. I think they punched in plant here in r&r. Never heard him sing the opener we’ll post 72
You understood everything BRO! NOT NORMAL! 😂Did, you, still, not watch the whole movie THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME? The worth, unreal thing, is that, as the knew they would made a film with concerts, they did in July 1973,at NEW YOUR, MADISON SQUARE GARDEN, They only played, about 2h30,witch was a really short concert for THAT FUCKING WAR MACHINE, CALLED LED ZEP! 😂🖕Those bastards, often played, 3h30, 4hours!
They were mind blowing ! They actually came out and played three songs in a row on this tour. First Rock and Roll, then Celebration Day and then Black Dog. Love your reactions to Led ZEPPELIN. See.....you get it. They were four musicians that together created pure Magic.
I love Jimmy’s outfit! So rock and roll🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Used to listen to ZEP (cranked up) on our Livingroom HI/FI stereo . Early 70's. What a frkn era! 😊
The Greatest Band to Ever Grace the Stage ! Period !!
I was a teenager in the 70s we had a good time rockin and rolling
Right now aliens are probably traveling to Earth to listen to more Led Zeppelin 👽 🤘
#Facts 👽
No doubt. These Cats had pure Magic. Together they made everyone else look like beginners
Hell yeah
Legendary. Fond memories of me teenage years.
Three instruments and one amazing voice is all they needed to produce some of the greatest rock music of all time. Pure, raw talent.
How can four guys illicit so many emotions from a person? Damn, they are the best. I’m like you, I wish I could have been at one of their concerts, especially the one at the Madison Square Garden. Thanks for showcasing this.
Not everybody gets Led Zeppelin. But you do. Big time. The piper called you and you heard him and so did we
I saw them 5/30/77 (audio only online) Wash DC. Great seats just off the floor by Jimmy Page

I hear him play all the time; Led Zeppelin is in my top three. But damn, I love to SEE Jimmy play the guitar!
Thanks for getting my heart pumping with that great performance!
We had the best music and the most fun!!!
And it never gets old. Timeless music at it's finest.
Should be a warrant out for Jimmy, cause he murdered that geetar.
Zep will take you on an otherworldly journey to infinite places
high above the heavens far beyond the stars,
magical mystical never ending ride..
Genius bands& the music they made will be timeless& played forever, that is Led Zeppelin ❤
Timeless music from the goats
Have a look at how much Jimmy’s enjoying himself here
I just adore the mighty Zeppelin 😎
Since i been loving You from this same concert is a must see also
Yes!
Undeniably the BEST BAND doing one of their best!
Another is BABE I"M GONNA LEAVE YOU
🧨🧨🧨
Young man ,your reactions are g.o.a.t.,we love ya in Britain 👍👌💎

Great suggestion!
I love how you love it!! Please do No Quarter from this concert too...so very different! Mesmerizing!!
Yep. Im not even go into song suggestions. Any song. Any album
I second Since I've Been Loving You live 1973 from this concert at MSG!
Next you should do "The Ocean" live (from the same show I think). And then, The Lemon Song (studio version).
John Henry Bonham ( the late ) one of the best, hardest hitting drummers ever. As well as Bill Ward of Black Sabbath. Bonham shines on When The Levee Breaks. Perfect rhythm.
Glad you mentioned Bill Ward there.
Had the pleasure of seeing Page & Plant when they toured. Both are amazing!!
Definitely The Ocean but also Since I've Been Lovin' You from the same concert. And if you are really feeling adventurous, try the half hour long version of Dazed and Confused from this concert. It's an all out jam!

You're got to check out Whole Lotta Love live from this same show, and see Bonham's finish with the fire gong!
Omg 2 Zeppelin songs!! What a treat!!
Please also do Bring It On Home!! That was the riff between songs here!!
HI Pope- good to see you loving it, and getting them, so well... real music, creative and challenging. Fun.
One of my favorite bands of all time….great to see younger generations with different backgrounds discovering and loving the music so many of us grew up on!
This was the warmup songs that they use to test the sound, before the real magic starts.
I’m lucky enough to be a teenager through the 60’s and 70’s ! I got to see a lot of awesome groups when living in Portland Oregon. I even saw Sonny and Cher in 1971! Love your reactions ☮️♥️😎🤟🏼
Thank you , I agree
Next time you see some one in their 60’s or 70’s....just think to yourself....I wonder if he or she was a Zeppelin fan....Spooky, ain’t it 😎👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
that is actually funny to think about 🤣🤔
Looking at this at 62, if I could go back in time for one day it might very well be this day because I was here at MSG. It was insane as your imagination and then some. Love your reactions so would have to try convince you to come.
I remember reading somewhere someone describing what Led Zeppelin did to music. They said that Led Zeppelin took music from black-and-white to color..
Bonham was the best musician in the band. Period.
Love how this guy is truly into it😆😀
Another you should check out is their live track of “Kashmir” from celebration day concert done in their 60’s with John Bonham’s son Jason on drums. Amazing how good Plant could still sing at that age
The Goats.
Do Dazed and Confused from the same concert please
Hey Bro, absolutely love Jamn'n wit'ya. I had to learn Black Dog, a When the Levi Break's on the Drum's when I was 17. Love
Led Zeppelin
It's magic...

I LOVE the live stuff and the visuals are awesome. Consider doing a bunch from the Mothership - recently remastered studio versions. What you will hear are incredible layers in the music...and again, consider jumping in chronologically now.
Gods rock ❤❤❤❤
saw them 4 times and yeah they are bada$$. check out heart breaker/living loving maid, the lemon song, in my time of dying, you shook me, sick again, the rover, traveling riverside blues, houses of the holy
Ah, ok...they also performed this at the Celebration Day concert
I was you about 47 years ago. Some good shit to this day.
Love all the Led u do. On another note ~ Can you do MTV's 1st video by Dire Straits "Money for Nothing", the one with band playing. Can u also do Prince "Gett Off" and "Darling Nikki".
Once the show begins , SONG REMAINS takes off . The opening parts are a little puzzling .
Fk yeahhhh
Driving force is JPJ on bass.
i need to calm down
Robert Plant ...Tall cool one. Solo album
This is from their movie as well
🤔😒😏 am I wrong for wishing Rush wore outfits like this. 😉🤭 I remember the cute kimono type thing Geddy use to wear open with no shirt. 😊 Smile everytime I see him in it on a video and think how good he'd look in Robert's outfit. Kashmir.. you need to experience Kashmir by Zep
Now that a Rock Band ⭐ they don't make them like that anymore
Kashmir and Immigrant Song are two others you need to hear
Check out Tommy Bolin
Post Toasty & Shake the Devil
"black dog" is about a dog. Think of that next time you listen to the solo😂
It's not about a dog. It was just named after a black dog that was hanging about the studio.
Nothing more to say. You can’t verbalize! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wish page works edit a best of earls court. Def give 73 zep a run for its money and prob surpass this show. I think they punched in plant here in r&r. Never heard him sing the opener we’ll post 72
Do black dog again separately, half of the song was missing
I thought you were gunna follow outta yer chair.
Are seriously liking this music?
Sorry you done that one
