Indeed a Masterpiece! Night Lovell and a GT40 with that editing is a match made in heaven.
Felt like i had to bring the GT40 into the modern day 😅
This is just amazing not one shot out of place and the audio sounded so organic. Not just patched over in some odd cycle of the power band just to have “sound” in the clip. Best feature of all is the sound bites from Ford vs Ferrari for the story telling! Just class all around! I love it!

Agreed. This needs a re-edit. Remove the music and make the video longer. The focus is on the engine sound.
I know I'm not the creator, but what if he wants to show his creativity/art in his own unique way, everyone dose something different that's what makes it unique, I'll admit it may not be everyone's taste, but u should go out there and film a gt40 yourself and edit the way u like, if everything was the same, things would get boring or uninteresting very quick
ShwaaFilms makes great edits imho, yes love the engine sounds but he always finds a way to put just enough car sounds in that sets him apart from everyone else. 👍
I hate it too and for some reason editors believe it is necessary. Just as bad over speach.
Sometimes while on set or back when editing you can tell when something is on a whole different level. I can easily tell you did with this one, this is generational.

I have an uncle and cousins who own a Ford dealership. I rode in that exact same color gt40 once. A guy bought it and asked them to drive it to an airport so he could fly in and pick it up. I've ridden in mustangs, Shelby, raptors, and everything else. Nothing even comes close to the gt40. It was mesmerizing. Telephone poles looked like a picket fence. I'll never forget it as long as I live.

Me too. I'm a GM guy, but the Ford GT40 is one of the greatest and possibly most important cars ever engineered and created. That screaming 427 is nearly unparalleled.

The original GT 40 was a fantastic and unique design
I have a Superformance 1966 GT 40, a 2005 Ford GT and a 2021 Ford GT
And I can see how similar the cars that came after the 1966 GT 40 were inspired by it years later
I love them all❤

One of the best looking cars of all time, back when prototypes looked like something you could get in a showroom at the dealership. Also, masterful work with getting audio from Le Mans 66 (Ford vs Ferrari) to give the entire thing more sizzle and a greater, memorable impact

I'm not trying to nitpick here, but I should point out that the Le Mans-Winning #2 Ford GT40 MK. II of late Bruce McLaren and late Chris Amon had the right-hand drive and the shifter at the right-hand door sill. Other than the minor discrepancies, this is a beautiful car.

The Mk2s are brutal, with a 427 side oiler and the scoops to keep it going, personally I like the Mk1 modified by Alan Mann which also won at LeMans as did, obviously the Mk2 gave the Deuce his first LeMans win, in 1, 2 and 3
