In North America, water is also typically more expensive to transport and less accessible, so limiting water use has been a priority in urban design where possible. Additionally, water sanitation and filtration are more extensive and expensive in North America, creating the demand for alternative cleaning methods like paper which are much cheaper and more easily accessible in much of North America than clean water 😊

lol regarding the bidet it’s very common in a middle Eastern home nothing new but makes me chuckle when European/American feel like they just discovered smth new. Btw for us ladies it’s the best way for our delicate area to stay clean/odorless.
2:30 loop earplugs are the besttttttt. The “engage” version is pure magic- they are for noisy environments where you want ti be able to hear the people you’re interacting with. I have audio processing issues (thanks ADHD) and used to have the hardest time at dinner meetings specifically, these loops are a godsend. Also the “experience” version, I took to the Eras Tour and however they are engineered, when I put them in, it blocked the crowd noise and was like a filter to just the music being performed. Amazing.
Hahaha as Muslims we wash our down there every time we go to the toilet, so it always makes me laugh when people discover this & how life changing it is. I can’t imagine going to the toilet and just wiping 🫤

You can’t use Lumify regularly btw!! My eye doctor says the only safe type of eye drops are PF (preservative s free) ones if you wanna use it more than a couple times a week.
You can use more natural eyedrops. I have one with calendula extract. It will not make your eyes white as the drug one, but reliefs itchiness or other minor discomfort. It also hydrates a little.

Guys, those eye drops are not for everyday use. I know eyes instantly looks brighter but it is a drug, i’ve been using and doctor told no to, just in special cases. Use something more natural for everyday use.

So I’ve never used a bidet!!!! Not too long ago we went to a Michelin starred omakase restaurant and of course I had to go check out the bathroom. The restaurant sat 6 guests so the bathroom was a single stall. I sat down and the seat was warm, initially I thought ew someone had just recently spent a lot of time here… I quickly realized this was no normal toilet! So many buttons and none of them had any English so I had no idea what the buttons indicated. I was so tempted to experiment but I was wearing all white and I was so worried I was going to somehow soak myself in the process. Once I went back, my fiancé was so concerned why I took so long (he knows I could never do more than pee outside of the comfort of my own home 😅) and I told him he just had to go and see for himself. Turns out I might be one of the only people who have never used a bidet because he thought I was crazy!

I definitely agree with a heating pad and the earplugs! I use the 3m Classic yellow earplugs because, for me, when I used to work for Amazon, they were the only ones that drowned out the noise enough to where I can still hear some slight sounds in the event of an emergency, but they work fabulously enough so I wasn’t getting the sound of continuous loud machinery banging around. The only downside is that they sometimes pop out of my ears at night, but I’m usually asleep by then lol! 😂 I also use them to drown out noisy co-workers during the day, since I work in an office that has a few chatterboxes. 😉😜
I was exposed to a bidet at a very young age as well. It was the real deal, and the person was very wealthy. It seems to be more accessible now, and I definitely want one! I have been using the dude wipes (they are larger and quite nice).
In Spain having a bidet is pretty common, although now that flats are getting smaller and smaller they are the first thing to go in a bathroom. I only use it when I'm on my period or in summer for the stubborn beach sand in my tootsies, but looking at a bathroom and not seeing one feels wrong. Also, I have de Loop Quite and I really like them. I don't like absolute silence, and those just lower the sound and feel quite nice.
My niece has a bidet at her house and every time I go there and use it, I always swear I’m going to buy one for my toilet, but I always forget. You just reminded me how much I want one! Lol They really are great!
