The man who started Buc-ee’s originally bought an old Texaco station in Gruene, Texas and built it from there. Buc-ee’s became famous in the 80’s and 90’s for having nice restrooms that were always clean which was not the norm for gas stations back then. He basically started the trend. He named the store for his brother who died at a young age.

Heinz is an American company. Headquarters: Pittsburgh, PA, Founded in 1869. The Brits are always confused by that because you get Heinz baked beans which is made in England, we can also get it in the US.

If you think you're going to have trouble fitting clothes and blankets in your luggage, stop by a walmart or such on the way out and get some vacuum storage bags. You don't necessarily even need the ones that require a vacuum, they make them that roll up or otherwise have a one way valve so fluffy things can be crammed down to solid form and save space.

The thing about recording in Buc-Ee's is that as long as you don't bug anyone, they really don't mind. They are a target destination for influencers, and by letting influencers and vloggers and all that quite literally give them free advertising and showing that they had a good time at the store, it's a win-win for everyone. Influencers/vloggers get content, Buc-Ee's gets some social rep and advertising :)

You'll practically be full before you ever buy something to eat! LOL!

The reason for why so many ice freezers is that Buc-ees are located on major thoroughfares, which in turn are located in states that get very warm. Because of this, one Buc-ees can go sell over 1k bags of ice in one day. Or to put it another way - they get a huge amount of traffic, and they want to be prepared.

Buc-ee's employees are camera friendly. You should have gotten one to do a 'Welcome to Beesley Channel' intro for you. You know . . . You could call up the airline & get any estimate to charge for an extra bag. But it would be much better to make a list & just let your viewers send it to you. Have mom make up her list too.

17:15 You can use only one hand when you get to be pros at it.
Don't worry so much about filming people. They will let you know if they don't like to be filmed. Most people will just think you are silly walking around with that. Just don't be offended if someone says not to film them. It is okay. They are not necessarily mad, they just don't want to be filmed.

LOL! Yes, we have Heinz ketchup. I find that a lot of Brits are surprised to see we have Heinz ketchup in the United States. They often don't know that Heinz is an American company. Although I know the Beesleys, in particular, know it's American from past videos. 🙂

They said all of the American cereals were too sweet and tasted fake, while the UK cereals had less sugar and tasted more healthy. They were comparing American cereals to American cereals. Those fools didn't know. Imagine us Americans dying laughing in the comments. They even said Corn Flakes was a UK cereal and way more popular in the UK. That really set us off into gut busting laughter! The Brits didn't find it funny at all. 🤣😅😅😂🤣
