I went to the range and a friend that I was shooting had this gun. He asked me if I wanted to try it. He went back to his house and I had the opportunity to shoot it for about 10 minutes. I had my son with me and he asked how much I thought the gun cost. I told him I would think over 1000 dollars. The gun was very accurate and I really enjoyed using it. When Bill came back I asked him how much the gun cost and he told me he paid 520.00 for it . I could not believe you could get a gun like that for the price. I have never heard of Canik so I went home and looked it up. I was very surprised of the good reviews. Had to wait 3 months for it to come in but it was worth the wait. Your review is spot on and I really love the gun. I told my other friends about it and they went to the same gun store and got theres with no wait. My gun shop ordered 6 of them. They are all gone now but they sell fast. Quality of the gun is exceptional. I like this gun better then my S&W, 1911, and Others that cost much more money. Love this gun. I would have paid a 1000 for it. Al Sautner.
I just got my SFx. Another secret bonus is if you accidentally seat the spring in the wrong square part, it re-seats itself and finds the round cut when you rack it all the way back. Discovered this after my 2nd reassemble when I noticed I was doing it wrong.
I have the same gun. Paid 550.00 for it and had to wait 3 months for the arrival. Love the gun and it is much better then most of my more expensive guns. I love it. Your review is spot on. Thanks Al Sautner, From South Carolina.
Just picked up mine 2 days ago and I love it. I traded my Beretta APX Compact in on it, and saw a 15% to 20% increase in accuracy. Some of that is the longer barrel, I'm sure, but still, that was a major improvement. I use it as an EDC, and yeah, it's a big gun to conceal, but I manage. As I shoot lefty, I had to get another holster, it should be here in a few days. Yeah, this one's a keeper. One thing I've seen in reviews is the coating on the barrel wears fast, and with only 100 rounds through mine (damn this ammo shortage) I do already see a tiny bit of wear on the finish. A pity, but it won't affect the function. EDIT: I actually add a couple of steps to clearing the weapon. 1. Drop the mag. 2. Lock the slide. 3. Look in the chamber 4. Feel the chamber 5. Look again Some might say that's ridiculous, but these things are made to KILL. You simply cannot be too careful, and after the BANG!, saying I'm sorry don't help. So, yeah, I triple check.
I love mine I have done some upgrades I put a freedom Smith trigger in mine to take up some of the trigger travel it seemed a little long but it still has a nice trigger out the box next I'm adding a spinco recoil system in the gun to help it shoot flatter but this is my preference the gun out the box needs nothing I have maybe 500 rounds threw mine the first 250 I never cleaned it and it ran with no miss feeds.
@@pewsandbrews check out the zombie pro by them it's really nice if you think you want the spinco recoil system check out a guy by the name Frank the tank really breaks it down as far as that and adding the striker spring makes this gun a real 😈 lol have fun
I'm not positive, but I would think in stock configuration it would pass, with the exception of the plus 2 mags. I've heard they make it too tall, but with standard base plate mags it's good go. Maybe someone else on here knows for sure. You could also contact your local range that holds events and see if they know.

Got mine yesterday. So far put 100 rounds through it. Loving it. I paid $495 plus tax and FFL transfer cost.
Good honest review. Thanks for the take down informations. Very helpful.

Nice unboxing review 👍🏼
Is the Canik TP9SFX IDPA legal?
