Andrew Garfield: The Most Peter Parker/Spider-Man Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Tom Holland: A very fresh, reimagined take on the character, expertly performed, in consistently very good movies. Tobey Maguire: Had a lot of iconic moments and a very straightforward adaptation of the origin (aside from the web shooters).

As someone who JUST watched the ASM movies this week in order to understand NWH, I’m gonna enjoy this video. Didn’t understand the hate around the movies or him, his SM was absolutely ADORABLE and possibly my personal favorite actor for him
People thought that he wasn't comic book accurate (WHICH MAKES NO DAMN SENSE WHEN YOU ACTUALLY READ THE COMICS, SERIOUSLY ITS LIKE THEY TOOK PETER PARKER FROM THE COMICS AND COPY AND PASTED HIM INTO A HUMAN)
It’s funny cuz people were acting like it was some grave sin to say he was a good Spider-Man back when this movie came out but today Andrew is unarguably the best actor out of the 3 anyways
Love how he's getting more love and attention. This version helped me grieve over my mothers death when I was a kid and he's already meant a lot to me personally. So seeing this renaissance for his version that's been going on since 2018 is amazing to me.
I had 2 mothers, my birth mother who couldn't raise me and her mother (my actual grandmother) whom was the one that raised me since I was 3 months old. I referred to them as both being my mothers anyway, and my GM always referred to me as her son...in August 2012 my birth mother passed away due to chemical cephalopathy...4 days later my mother passed away in my arms due to emphysema, both mother and daughter passed away 4 days apart...buried one and cremated the other. So yeah 2012 TASM had hit home with the loss of parents and indeed to me they have always been the BEST Spidey films and even more with NWH to me .
@@JPmoney99 Thanks, it is why these types of films/ stories exist. They help with an escape and perhaps fill one with hope and a better outcome on life that we may not see but underneath is there. No because he was so chaotic I always got secondhand embarrassment. Especially when he starts to ramble while talking with Gwen. Then the way he took the *ABSOLUTE PISS* out of the villains Gosh he was truly amazing. Not once have I nor will I ever regret him being my favorite Spiderman
Fina-fucking-LY MY MAN IS GETTING THE ATTENTION AND LOVE HE DESERVES! Andrew's spider man was so great! Like idk if it was the black airforce energy or what but he was my fave growing up!!
I freaking grew up with Andrew Garfield as Spiderman. He has been my Spiderman since I was a kid and I freaking love how everyone is coming together and agreeing that Andrew is amazing, as The Amazing Spiderman XD.
It's *amazing* that fans are gaining more and more respect on Andrew's Peter to the point where fans are demanding a TASM3 all over Twitter, to give him another chance and NWH redeemed him for that.
The first film of The Amazing Spiderman came out when I was 16. Andrew played a 17 years old teenager. For some points, I felt related to Peter Andrew, like... nerdy-geek thing, the student that sometimes got bullied, stood up for parents' rude comment, and awkwardness with crush. Not always the bookish, but bit smart and really cool teenage boy. Andrew may be not the best Spiderman, but he's best Peter Parker for me ❤️
Ok first of all thank for you showing me the source of the “oUr tAbLe iTs bRoKeN” video 😂 Second, ugh, the scene of him saving the little kid from bullies and then complimenting him on his science project and fixing it 😩🙌🏽 melted my heart. One of the main things that makes him the best Peter Parker. That and the way he’s such a team player with the police and fire department when he needs to be. He’s the only Peter to win over the press
totally agree!! while i love toms movies as well, i feel like we’ve been missing the friends neighborhood part of spiderman that andrew really shines at, but hopefully they’ll address that in future movies!!
@@aarushidumir5189 I think he was publicly viewed as a hero by the citizens of New York but I don’t think the actual press ever came around for him, if I remember right. But with Andrew I noticed otherwise
It’s just so beautiful how much love Andrew is getting right now. Hope he gets another shot, and I hope Emma Stone gets to headline it with him as Spider-Gwen. Also the TASM movies can be a mess plot-wise but they have such heart, amazing characters and fantastic performances, Spider-Man and Peter Parker are perfectly flawed and complex yet down to earth and he really is such a fantastic friendly neighborhood Spider-Man….the movies are really underrated.

Love stories is part of his struggles and history throughout his creation, The late Stan Lee, Co-creator made sure that everyday life including love issues were part of Peter Parker's hardships because he wanted everyone to be able to relate to Spider-Man no matter the ethnicity, or whatever. This theme also was part of ITSV movie
@@EternalRoman seems like you haven't read them carefully those comics didn't have peter revealing his identity without any reason to his love interests which Mr. show off andrew does by pulling gwen with a web and kissing her. @@zubinchadha6489 You keep forgetting that movies are a version from the story. And yeah sure in the comics he doesn't go crazy showing off the Secret identity but that is due to time constraints, and yeah Tobey had the same issue too especially with a train full of people and them putting his mask on like nothing, so your argument has nothing on Andrew. Which also whatever the actor's sexuality is has NOTHING to do with his performance, or Tobey's alcoholism and gambling addiction would also be a factor. It is more than stupid to insult an actor for their personal issues and predilections and attach them to their work. It is more than stupid and idiotic, it is a horrible reflection on the commenter. Putting that aside, Now, I think one thing that in order to make an entire issue of the secret identity reveals to be diminished on the screen is to approach the stories in a live action series and as we know it could get expensive as seen with the recent well received Superman and Louis TV series. Because like you, the face reveals are quite annoying for me too, but as I said it is all time constraints. One last thing bud, I inherited all of my late uncle's original comics, dating to Spidey's origins up to the late 80s and I began collecting My Own Spidey comics in the 90s and forward... He was a swimmer and a gymnast in his early teens, and it sure shows...
I never had a problem with his Spider-Man, I thought he was cute and loved the attitude plus he did more stuff on his own compared to Tom hollands Spider-Man. That said I love Tom too and his take on Spider-Man is also amazing to me.
yes!!!! i couldn’t agree more!!!!!
Andrew Garfield: The Most Peter Parker/Spider-Man Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
Tom Holland: A very fresh, reimagined take on the character, expertly performed, in consistently very good movies.
Tobey Maguire: Had a lot of iconic moments and a very straightforward adaptation of the origin (aside from the web shooters).
i like tom but honestly i have never really liked his spiderman movies until no way home but i have a feeling the next trilogy is going to be way better
@@wonderlaund There's no guarantee he's gonna do another trilogy. There are rumors, but no announcement has been made, and the rumor of him even signing on for more movies is unconfirmed (which, signing on still wouldn't guarantee anything).
Tbh I like andrew and tobey more.. idk why but um, idk i just don't get the vibes even after watch his 3 spiderman movies :( I tried so bad to like his spiderman version but I couldn't
Me, who’s loved Andrew’s spider since 2012: it’s about time the rest of the world caught up
Me after everyone started loving Andrew as Spider-man after watching No Way Home: "You should've thought of that earlier."
Same here
Yep
no one hated adrew tho it was the movie
Andrew Stans are finally rising up the Spider-Man hierarchy, it took us nine years… but we did it Andrew, We did it.
So proud of us. I will continue to adore Andrew and defend his title as Spider-man until I die. He deserves respect, and I appreciate that he's finally getting the recognition he deserves after being hated on for a long time. Glad I can say that I loved him as Spider-man even when everyone was riding the Andrew hate train chile.
the "older" generation is remembering how great Andrew was after going to see Spiderman, the new generation is finding him and we've all agreed he's fantastic
Im an "older" generation technically I think considering I was there to watch these movies at the theatre and already loved andrew's spiderman and never understood some hating on him
I'm of the "older generation", but never saw this spiderman. I saw Sam reimi's spiderman on DVD and vhs lol. Tobey was built diff, but this guy is so funny! He's very realistic with how he talks. Reminds me of myself.
I was definitely part of the "older generation", grew up with Tobey's Spider-man. But Andrew's Spidey for me hit the hardest. His Spidey is my favorite. I'm not even a Spider-man nerd. He just stood out the most to me
I swear Andrew Garfield version of Peter Parker is the horniest we ever know yet.. I mean whenever he is near Gwen Stacy.. he can't hold himself from making an attempt to touch her and I don't remember much that Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland version behave like this with their MJ
Thats how teenagers be 😂 even the most introvert of us
@@krishpache7271finally someone said it. That's why Andrew's version was the most accurate.
the way i wanna gatekeep andrew garfield's spiderman now that everyone is starting to love him after seriously hating on him :(( i still remember people on twitter trashing him and the movies. NOW LOOK!! we've been SAYING his spiderman was the best and the blueprint
EDIT: dang i really got to say this since some people can't take a joke but: me trying to "gatekeep" him is a joke !! i'm glad he's getting the recognition he deserves
Yess og fans stand up
same bestie
Same tho. I've been here for YEARS
Had to fight for him for years because people would slate me because he was my fave but since nwh people who previously hated him now love him
Gaslight, gatekeep, and Andrew Garfield
As someone who JUST watched the ASM movies this week in order to understand NWH, I’m gonna enjoy this video. Didn’t understand the hate around the movies or him, his SM was absolutely ADORABLE and possibly my personal favorite actor for him
Same SAMEEEE
People thought that he wasn't comic book accurate (WHICH MAKES NO DAMN SENSE WHEN YOU ACTUALLY READ THE COMICS, SERIOUSLY ITS LIKE THEY TOOK PETER PARKER FROM THE COMICS AND COPY AND PASTED HIM INTO A HUMAN)
@@akatie888 BOOM! More facts 💯🕸🕷 (You're the second person that mentions this reality on this video that I've read so far 😄😁)
SAME
@@akatie888 not really. The way he confronts Flash and skates is not comic accurate. He wasn’t “copy and pasted” from the comics.
for almost 10 YEARS i have been saying he's the superior spiderman and y'all wouldn't believe me qidjwjjf
!!! no one wanted to listen 😭
fr tho, he's amazing -
It’s funny cuz people were acting like it was some grave sin to say he was a good Spider-Man back when this movie came out but today Andrew is unarguably the best actor out of the 3 anyways
exactly. they called me madman. lmao💀
He’s Amazing Spider-Man, the Superior Spider-Man is a different series! :P
man i just realized how horrible he is at keeping his powers a secret 😭
HE LITERALLY TOLD THE FIRST GIRL HE HAD ROMANTIC FEELINGS FOR AFTER GETTING HIS POWERS ON THE F I R S T TIME AT HER HOUSE 😭😭😭😭
He was the closest thing we got to the original Spider-man's personality.
agreed
Ratio
@@lecoolcat7694 that’s really not funny and extremely disrespectful
@@EternalRoman I’m so sorry about your loss and I’m happy TASM helped you with that
@@JPmoney99 Thanks, it is why these types of films/ stories exist. They help with an escape and perhaps fill one with hope and a better outcome on life that we may not see but underneath is there. Likewise I reciprocate with the wishes with your loss, no matter how we look at it, it is a lasting void that is left, part of you of your own life goes with them, but I guess we must go on.
Andrew Garfield finally getting his recognition. For sure the funniest Spiderman!
Andrew Garfield has BEEN the best spiderman and I will continue to preach this until I die 🙂
why?
@@amylee3274 why is he the best or why will I keep screaming it?

4:20 Please this moment makes me wanna give him a hug, his sheer joy at the meatloaf is so wholesome
1:02 the way he perfectly shows an awkward teenager asking their crush out is just ✨
Tumblr already knew how chaotic he is, he’s the male version of Princess Diana there.
i know all too well 😳
I'M SICK
Ofc I love the original Spider-Man, and Tom’s movies are so good, but Andrew’s Spider-Man makes me so happy. He has to be my favorite of the three. I wish people respected his Peter/Spidey more.
I knowww. I love them all, but there’s something about Andrew and the way he portrays Peter Parker and Spider-Man. There’s just something different. His has always made me so happy.
He is FINALLY getting the credit he deserves though.
@@muffinator1239 what makes the way he portrays Peter “special”
@@mm4843 I have no idea. I literally can’t explain it. I’ve just always preferred his.
@@muffinator1239 I think he’s an excellent Spider-Man but they ruined him with Peter Parker
why ??? he doesn't respect spider-man and has a bad acting as peter parker and is easily the worst which is evident from his movie earnings and script don't forget the soundtrack and silly villains , spider-man forgot my birthday hahaha cry me a river
It’s really sad that Andrew doesn’t get the recognition he deserves for these movies, especially how well he played both Peter and spider man. A lot of ppl don’t consider him the best bc the movies were bad (which they weren’t) He was the best Spider-Man imo
Ikr :(
I liked both movies, but if you don't you can't deny the acting is really good
I never cared about what people said about his movies.
Andrew’s Spider-Man was always *Amazing* to me.
8:06
“Gwen! You mother- *hubber!*
Are you serious?!”
Peter Garfield: "You want me to come down there so you can kill me?"
The sinister evil villain:"Yes"
Peter Garfield: "Alright I'll be right there"
Iconic.😭
I love him 😩🖐️
I love how andrew’s movies are finally getting the recognition they deserve, while not perfect they are still insanely fun films with a fresh take on Spider-Man led by an amazing actor who was passionate about his role.
this overload of love for andrew makes me ELATED. the spiderman comics were literally the first things i read as a kid. though sam raimi's spiderman was the first movie i ever saw, tasm was the first i remembered. like genuinely cannot stress enough my eternal love for the spiderman franchise. garfield nails every aspect, from being peter parker to being the amazing spiderman. he will ALWAYS be my spiderman idgaf like he's my one and only. we 4lifers
Bro same.....tasm forever
as someone who’s read a lot of the original comics, andrew’s spider-man has always been my favorite his sense of humor and sarcasm is so dumb and perfect
The chimney conversation with Aunt May always had me laughing so hard. That's just completely chaotic 😂
One thing that should be universally agreed: Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man Trilogy, MCU Spidey films & appearances, TASM films, Into the Spider-Verse = all great in their own way
Yes!!! I’ve been saying this! They all bring something different to the table. Johnny 2 Cellos even made a video explaining why all the Spider-Men are great
hes so chaotic and im here for it
Andrew would have been the most amazing chaotic disaster college Spider-Man We were Cheated!! Also Andrew really wanted to give us bi spidey and they were so mad bout it
don’t get me wrong i love tom as spiderman and think he’s great, but we really did deserve a 3rd movie
@@basicgorl my point exactly. He’s the only Spider-Man who didn’t get a 3rd Movie. Ever since NWH came out, and people saw him reprise the role, they’re demanding a 3rd one for Andrew.
You mean.. *biderman?*
I just want to see a spideypool movie with him... is that so wrong?
@@MissMeSherbs I wanna see that too, but Vanessa's gonna have to give her blessing if Spidey and DP get...close. She seems openminded, she might be into that.

“I do. And I’m tired of pretending that he wasn’t.”
So glad people are finally beginning to understand how good Andrew Garfields Spider-Man is. He’s my fav
The fact he was my favorite all along and now people are actually recognizing his spiderman and loving it and giving his spiderman the attention he deserves just makes me so happy also thank you for this video
THE WAY HE IS EXACTLY LIKE THE COMIC SPIDEY

Andrew Garfield put his whole entire spidussy in these films for people to just now be realizing he was amazing (pun intended).
Now, with that being said, I LOVE the Andrew Garfield Renaissance. Thank you and good day
Spidussy 😭😭😭
I think when I saw Andrew’s spider-man I was too young to understand how amazing he was, but I get it now. Glad he’s getting the hype he deserves 🥲
Andrew as Spider-Man is like Hayden as Anakin, they deserved a second chance
Well Hayden IS gettting his big one in the Kenobi series, and Garfield might also continue with this renaissance, so great things 😃
AHH I LOVE HIM SM :( he’s literally the cutest, funniest, most genuine spider man and Peter Parker for me. Just his sadness and compassion for everyone and the comedic element to his movies and his relationship with the neighborhood, ughh I feel like he’s just superior in all these aspects! He genuinely has so much fun as spider man and I’m so happy he’s finally getting the recognition he deserves after so many years of us defending him
I'm so in love with him he's so funny and deserves way more credit than he gets
Andrew’s version of Peter Parker was SO awkward like all versions of Peter Parker are a awkward but Andrew’s Peter actually gave me second hand embarrassment💀 (I loved it though🥰)
No because he was so chaotic I always got secondhand embarrassment. Especially when he starts to ramble while talking with Gwen. Then the way he took the *ABSOLUTE PISS* out of the villains
Gosh he was truly amazing. Not once have I nor will I ever regret him being my favorite Spiderman
The fact that I just convinced my parents to buy both of them on Amazon prime is unbelievable
Fina-fucking-LY MY MAN IS GETTING THE ATTENTION AND LOVE HE DESERVES! Andrew's spider man was so great! Like idk if it was the black airforce energy or what but he was my fave growing up!!
I fell in LOVE with Andrew when I first watched it.
I freaking grew up with Andrew Garfield as Spiderman. He has been my Spiderman since I was a kid and I freaking love how everyone is coming together and agreeing that Andrew is amazing, as The Amazing Spiderman XD.
5:21 "Is that a real knife?" "Yes, it's a real knife." "My weakness is small knives!"
It's *amazing* that fans are gaining more and more respect on Andrew's Peter to the point where fans are demanding a TASM3 all over Twitter, to give him another chance and NWH redeemed him for that.
Andrew Spidey 4ever!! Not only is he a talented and hilarious actor, but he also actively campaigned for his Peter Parker to be bisexual and Jewish 🥰🥰
Wait fr??😭💀
Omgggg ur RIGHT!!! I love his spider man movies ever more now! The amazing spider mans where always my favorite ❤️😩🌝
A bi Spiderman would be awful. I don’t mind the Jewish part tho 😂

Andrew was always my favorite spidey. It's about time y'all put some respect on his name
This version of Spiderman deserves to have a Crossover with the Venom universe.
He NEEDS that Symbiote Suit.
Andrew may be not the best Spiderman, but he's best Peter Parker for me ❤️
Ok first of all thank for you showing me the source of the “oUr tAbLe iTs bRoKeN” video 😂
Second, ugh, the scene of him saving the little kid from bullies and then complimenting him on his science project and fixing it 😩🙌🏽 melted my heart.
Yes. I love Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man because he’s so soft with kids. That is the easiest way to win me over
I mean Tobey did too but yeah, Andrew was the best Spidey
That disclaimer at the beginning about fighting for your life saying Andrew is your fave rings so true!
I love Andrew and I love his performance as Spider-Man.

I love tom Holland's spidey but Andrew brings Peter's geeky side to life perfectly
I have always loved Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and I am so happy that he is finally getting the recognition that he deserves. I love that he is portraying Peter as this eccentric genius who seems to have a million ideas in his head which is why he acts so chaotic. The onscreen chemistry between Peter and Gwen in these movies is perfection.
0:01 when someone asks me who my favorite Spidey is
I'm so glad people are appreciating Andrew now. He's always been so underrated.
In this movie Peter had the most chemistry with Gwen out of any Spider-Man movie, I said what I said 🤷♀️
Weeell, there is also Miles Morales in ITSV so technically both Garfield and Morales have the best Chemistry with their respective Gwens 😉
that's something which doesn't make a spider-man movie great. People go to watch peter's struggles not some love story
@@zubinchadha6489 Seems like you never read a Spidey comic apparently.
And remember peter parker was an average dude who chanced to be a on a science trip and got bitten by a radioactive spider , unlike your gay boy andrew whose father created the "spider" for him and who sneaked into oscorp stealing rodrigo's identity getting him thrown out of oscorp giving a smirk , trailing doctor ratha and watching him use the password and in the end touching the spiders deliberately; THAT's NOT HOW I REMEMBER THINGS BEING IN THE COMICS.
P.S : Peter parker would never break his promise to a person especially someone who is dying which your lover boy andrew does by disregarding captain stacy's wishes
Yeah, I read and re-read my comics, so...
3:08 will always be my all time favourite Spider-Man scene
