I'm probably stupidly late to the party, but Mystery Mayhem has an entire level that takes place in the bayou, and it ends with you riding on a minibike throught the swamps.
"One _less_ ghost roaming free", I see how it could be heard as "One _last_ ghost roaming free"
Apparently Heavy Iron Studios, the same folks behind Spongebob: Battle For Bikini Bottom and the Movie Game were behind Night of 100 Frights, which probably explains its quality! (NO100F was the game they put out right before BFBB)
Yep, you can actually find the opening cutscene for Night of 100 Frights in the files of BfBB.
but only and ONLY in the Xbox version
Fun fact: The into to Night Of 100 Frights in still in the game files of the XBOX version of Battle For Bikini Bottom
What's crazy is that this only scratches the surface of Scooby Doo games bro.
As a kid I used to play these very basic point and click games on the Windows 98. there was Phantom of The Knight, Jinx at The Sphinx, and (my favorite) Showdown in Ghost Town. There was also one called Scooby Doo Case File: The Glowing Bug Man. Which put a bigger emphasis on just playing a string of minigames. Those games were to me what Freddy Fish and Putt Putt were to most people. Basically the same idea of gameplay.
There's also this really weird game that we had called Scooby-Doo! Mystery of the Fun Park Phantom that had really bizarre gameplay. AS a kid I found it a bit difficult to get into compared to the other ones. It had a strange eerie vibe to it.
I would like to revisit this at some point so I’ll definitely give those a look
"OH MY GOD!" was my genuine reaction upon hearing the Scrappy & Scooby Amiga version music. That sounds glorious!
22:50 Am I glad he's frozen in there and we're out here and that he's the sheriff and we're frozen out here and that we're in there I just remembered we're out here. What I want to know is where's the Caveman?
*audible wind*
4:18 His reaction to seeing deformed fish is literally the same reaction I had when I saw the Magnaguards in Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga. I mean it literally looks like a Lego version of a skeleton with the head of a lemur. Thank God that particular enemy was redesigned to more accurately represent the Magnaguards because they were always favorite battle droid variants.
I used to own Night of 100 Frights on PS2. Fantastic game; I played it all the time. I had no idea Tim Curry was in it until after watching this video.
I used to own Classic Creep Capers on the GBC too, and while it was average, it's not something I would play all the time.
6:52 Yeah, that'd be like making a Scooby show without Scooby. I sure hope that doesn't exist. That would be a shame.
Yeah, I know right.
Anyone remember that one episode of Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law that envolved Shaggy and Scooby-Doo doing Marijuana, and that was the 3rd episode of Season 1 btw...
And, of course, it's one of the 5 best episodes.
The worst part of the 64 game was the island level when you have to go in a volcano and every room looks the same
The trick with the Classic Creep Capers game (aside from smashing the disk over awful controls) was to use the disguise you pick up. The Black Knight comes out, you use the Egyptian headdress, and Scooby and Shaggy disguise themselves as hieroglyphs on the wall so the Black Knight Runs past. Every level has a disguise for these things, but as far as I remember that level is the only one where it's a /requirement/ to progress.
I agree though, Scooby Doo: Night of 100 Frights is a really great game and needs to be played. It even has a decent mystery to it. I won't spoil, but there was a moment I noticed in a cutscene that made me think 'oops, the designers made a mistake', but then later I was shocked to see them reveal that, no, that wasn't a mistake, it was an actual clue to the mystery for those who were observant. That was a 'wow' moment for me as a kid.
Wouldn't still believe that Scooby turning 50 for his upcoming Anniversary!!!

Like, ZØINKS Stuub. That C64 rendition fucking bops.
And for anyone wanting to know where the caveman is 18:33 & 22:49
Godspeed, you one and only Scrappy Doo-fan.
I love Scrappy too.
@@blaa6 I'm also a fan now.
I actually played Mystery Mayhem as a kid, and those mine cart stages were one of the only things I could remember about it for the longest time. And yes, I said stages, as in there's another one, and it's even worse than the first one.
I find it hilarious and even somewhat vindicating that there are only two excellent Scooby Doo based games in existence, and that Scrappy Doo stars in one of them. It's okay Riley, I feel your pain. I've always been a fan of Scrappy as well. He is one of, if not THE most misunderstood, demonized, misrepresented and mishandled character in the history of cartoons. The Boo Brothers, The Ghoul School, and The Reluctant Werewolf are still the best three Scooby movies ever made, I don't give a damn what anyone says.
I love how Shaggy's Head doesn't move as he's running in that PS2 game lmfao.
Does anyone remember the old Scooby-Doo adventure games on the PC? I know he said he doesn't like point and click games but I remember them being pretty fun.( though it's been like 20 years since I played any of them)
Funny thing is on that black knight ghost part I did the same thing when I was little but I replayed it and you can actually use the item you have to disguise yourself on the wall and he will pass through and leave for good
15:08 Using The Good ol Sentence Mixing Move
Never in my life would i have expected to hear "Scooby Duken"
That Shaggy impression was good!
Great as always Stuuby Stu. Godspeed.
Thank the UA-cam algorithm for pushing this vid into my recommended!
I love how much you sound like Mr. Garrison. And Night of 100 Frights is MONEY!
He said “one less ghost roaming free” , not “one last ghost”
16:04 R.I.P. Microphone
22:51 What I wanna know is: Where's the caveman?
A little over a year late but Night of 100 Frights is one of my favorite games of all time. I grew up playing it and I replay through it at least once a year.
i grew up with night of 100 frights and i was never able to beat it because i was missing something... even as an adult i havent beat it but thats because i struggled to beat the area with all the electric floors
Speaking of Carwashes, one by where I used to live would play the Song of Time from Legend Zelda Ocarina of time, when you hit the screen to select a wash
OH MY GOD, I"VE BEEN LOOKING FOR WHAT THAT FUCKIN ANIME WAS SINCE YOU MADE THAT POOP, holy shit thank you SO MUCH
I've come to respect and appreciate Scrappy. I don't like him much, but I don't hate him or anything.
Pure nostalgia, but I _do_ like Flim-Flam.
I actually love Scooby Doo on Sega Genesis, in fact I wish it got remastered.
16:15
YOU SAID YOU DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE TAPE WAS CALLED!
>w<
Now I gotta look it up..
Thanks for that.
26:10 omg counter
Stuart you saying you liked Scrappy earned you a sub ^^
"Watch me *s* *w* *o* *o* *s* right in."
big love, entertaining content youre gonna make it only problem is you didnt include shitty scooby doo flash games, when i was like 7 in 2009 or someshit i played a bunch of these games on the official cartoon network website and on other generic flash game websites with the kiddos on the public library computers and this one with shaggy on a fucking skateboard for some reason where you went up and down these connected ramps to see how high you could go and wacky shit started happening, also a bunch of other ones like one where scooby was trying to get scoobysnacks from like a vending machine with treadmills or something and this weird scary bootleg one that kinda traumatized me it was weird and confusing and i clicked random shit and got jumpscared by some white monsterthing

Hey Stu, have you ever heard of this webcomic called Scoob and Shag? It's about the adventures of Scooby and Shaggy. It's a pretty cool comic, and I think that you should give it a read.
16:18 If the sea turtle could swim with the seals...
Gotta say, I’m charmed by how detailed this was. Except I love point and click games. We can still get along tho. Funny script.
7:00 dude thats what i saw too xDDD
The night of 100 freights is full of fond memories I remember younger me gave up cause it looked like I hit a dead end so picked the game back up and tried it again only to realise that the game was in no way made for kids to complete. The maps are complex with a lot of back tracking. The map that is just ridiculous is the fish factory. I got more pissed at that then when I played dark souls.
I know this is an old video, but given your love of scrappy doo, seems appropriate to tell you about the time I got a scooby go-gurt tube when I was a kid. The trivia question was how many members there are in mystery inc, and I remember my brother got pissed because the answer on the tube was 5. They didn't include scrappy, poor forgotten bastard.
This is hilarious 😂🤘 I love it!
i did play all the scooby doo games on orginal gamecube good times
Damn it! I wish Intellivision game had the "Scooby Dooby Doo!" voice clip.
In Cyberchase, Shaggy should have been wearing a red shirt, not a green one.
These are the real ones, not the cyberworld ones. Though the models of Fred and Daphne uses their classic designs for some reason. They might of looked at the usual designs of the character art, and decided that's what they look like in the game. Kinda like Cindy in the Jimmy Neutron games using her old design in the original THQ games.
I remember my parents renting Mystery Mayhem from Giant Eagle. Liked it as a kid and I recall the atmosphere being good at least, but it's definitely more janky than I remembered
Why has youtube only just shown me your videos in my subscriptions now? I remember you back from YTP news and then I guess youtube buried you. I remember scooby doo cyberchase!
Louisiana boy hahaha cool same here
Scrappy is alright
Scooby Doo Unmasked feels a lot like Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus
super ghostbusters 1:57
ooh scooby snax
Great video
I remember playing scooby doo mystery mayhem on the gamecube never played night of 100 frights tho
Scrappy doo is the best character in Scooby doo.
"Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase" for the Game Boy Advance is a whole lot better than the PlayStation version.
Why not do a rundown of all the toy story games
I never understood why no one likes Scrappy Doo
I actually did beaten Scooby Doo Cyber Chase as a kid, I haven't touch this game in years though, so I doubt I can do beat it again
I love Scrappy too.
Who touch gosht the goshtbusters
1:54 I hate the fact that not only you used the ghostbuster logo, but it's specifically Joel Vinesauce's Super Ghostbuster ones
i love scraps
The best Scooby Doo games on my opinion are def Mystery Mayhem n 100 Frights
Liked for the Remix
Judging by the thumbnail, I know I'm going to be in for a wild ride.
EDIT: Scrappy is based.
i wonder if he will ever play Wild Woody.
I've got to say, I wish you'd have given the Genesis game a bit more of a try.
I played 4 Scooby Doo games. Mystery mayham, night of 100 frights, cyber chase and unmasked I loved all of those games
There was a 3Ds Scooby Doo x Looney Tune game you missed

I love Scrappy! *he's cute.*
I just whanted to see review on scooby-doo's games, but just get recommendation from console wars episode
Great video, man!
#Scrappydidnothingwrong
I actually came up with ideas for a Scooby Doo movie with Scrappy as the focus if your interested.
@@robbiewalker2831 Well actually it involved Mrsyery Inc. being framed for a crime they were trying to bust and Scrappy having to team up with Marcie (Hot Dog Water) from "Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated" to track down the real masked criminal.
I've been trying to think of a funny joke comment but I have no idea what to say, I just thought this video was really funny.
No problem friend. I appreciate it. Your sona is really cool btw
@@StuartKReilly Thanks!
10:32 >:(
St
Scooby-Doo Unmasked was a surprisingly good game, when I went through all five of the PS2 games it was a welcome surprise especially after playing the awful Mystery Mayhem.
20:12 Street Fighter reference 😄👍
