I actually have a friend who worked on Rabbit Rampage as a sprite animator. She also did the main character animations for the Rocko's Modern Life SNES game and Beavis and Butt-Head: Virtual Stupidity. No, my story doesn't have a point; I'm just humble bragging. Good video, Stu!
This was fantastic. I like how oldschool these videos feel. I used to watch a lot of game reviews like this in the early to mid 2010s, and this channel definitely does it in a way that isn't done much anymore. It's not afraid to be brutally honest, but it's not like "Arg I be constantly angry about video games." Like some channels ended up becoming. I like that there's a healthy mix of tones throughout the video. Keeps things from feeling too forced. I also like that Stew isn't afraid to unapologetically shill some hot fursonas here and there. These days everyone seems to be afraid to be vocal about their interests and hobbies, it's very refreshing to see that Stew isn't afraid to express his.
I appreciate the words man. Yeah I get a lot of inspiration from that "golden era" quote unquote of reviews in that time frame where people just said what they actually think and let THAT entertain people. I'm not a big time high budget reviewer and I don't try to be.
Yeah I realized later that Vinny from Vinesauce has played the bootleg version because I was watching a recent vid of his and immediately recognized the not-green-hill-zone
(Not so) fun fact: that game was impossible to beat for quite some time back in the day on emulators. iirc the code did some weird stuff that relied (probably unintentionally) on quirks of the hardware, and emulators weren't accurate enough to run it correctly.
Also, on the subject of Carrot Crazy, the music for that game was made by a company called Bit Managers, and looking up that name, I realized it was founded by the legendary Alberto Gonzalez! That man composed _tons_ of great scores for Game Boy games- including Turok on the GBC, if I recall correctly- and he knew how to push the sound system to its limits.
The DOS Bugs Bunny game was made by RSP, the predecessor to Running with Scissors of POSTAL fame. I would love to see a POSTAL game starring Bugs Bunny.
Tbh the Taz Outrun rip off has interesting gameplay mechanics given the recovery aspect, but aside from that I'm glad you did a deep dive on these games man, when I saw this in my feed I was just dying for the time to be able to watch it
Looney tunes collector alert legit has some of the best music for a game boy colour game. Think I had the same problem though, was bad at games...it was impossible
To open the door, you have start the game with the console upside down, then move the controller to the second port, then eject your memory card and remove the fan from the console and load up fortnite on it to cook and egg on it, over easy with pepper on top, and put it inside the console to be judged, if the game deems the egg worthy, the door will open. You have to read the environment 🙄
I love your accent, your acerbic sense of humor, the fact that you're a furry like me and so are on more or less the same wavelength, and this warmth under all the groucing. Ya got an attractive fursona, your species rocks, and you're a working man. Furry worker gamers of the world unite! :P
1:07 Actually, the game with CG Animated Cutscenes that you were thinking about is a completely separate game on iOS called Scooby-Doo! & Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe: Arcade (made by WB Games Montreal, as opposed to the SDLTCU: Adventure game on 3DS and PC being made by WayForward and having the voice-acted visual novel cutscenes).
Sylvester & Tweety in Cagey Capers is a rather interesting game. It was going to have a Master System/Game Gear port but that never happened. It was gonna be VERY different from the Mega Drive game, only like what 2 screenshots remain of it? The game was apparently shown at Summer CES 1993 but still no video footage got discovered. And then Sylvester & Tweety were going to have a Super Nintendo game by Sunsoft but that got cancelled due to Sunsoft's American division closing down. Honestly, if it did get finished and came out, it would've been MILES better than Cagey Capers.
God i'm happy i wasn't drinking anything when you said "great value dixie" because i straight up single-ha laughed in a way that would have made me shotgun whatever was in my mouth at that second.
Bolas are incan and I believe used in mexico and I'm pretty sure lassos are mexican, I think the atlatl was used in what is now mexico but that's A) a deep cut, B) way too violent, and C) not especially relevant to the specific time period that speedy gonzales is inspired by. At least 1 person uses a gun in a speedy gonzales cartoon, I think slowpoke jones or something. Also machetes are fairly commonly used in mexico and south america as both a weapon and a tool but probably not as much in Tijuana and also it would be a weird think to give to the funny rat considering I think he's a straight forward good guy In late 1800s to early 1900s mexico the main weapons would have been guns, knives and probably explosives, despite none of these things being from mexico. I'm not sure if speedy gonzales is actually set in the wild west but looney tunes is always somewhat anachronistic
There was a GBC game called “Daffy Duck: Fowl Play”. And even though it’s REALLY short. It’s pretty decent. But the game gets pretty hard near the end.
Great work, Stu, but about the opening game... Scooby-Doo and Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe Adventure on 3DS & PC (the one made by WayForward) came out BEFORE Scooby-Doo! & Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe Arcade (the one with the CG cutscenes that was made by WB Games Montreal) on Mobile and not after.
From looking into it, Taz: Escape From Mars is a sequel to the self-titled MegaDrive/Genesis game, which doesn't surprise me, since that game is also pretty broken in places. I'm almost relieved that one didn't make the video, because there are some real moments of bullcrap in that game.
I just completed the self-title Looney tunes game The game boy color version on super game boy. The whole game was easy up until level five that took me about 2 hours to fully learn it to where I could actually beat dracula. Then the roadrunner levels even harder. That Wylie Coyote boss fight is nuts. Even running the gauntlet of the last five bosses and then fighting Elmer fudd didn't feel that difficult. That's pretty much how I beat Elmer fudd you basically have to like always like try to stay behind him and if you can yeah get him caught in a corner and then just start bouncing off his head because it takes a total of 16 hits to defeat him
Personally, I did own a copy of two Looney Tunes games throughout my life: Taz-Mania for the SNES and Duck Amuck for the Nintendo DS. As far as I know, the Taz-Mania SNES games is based on the TV cartoon of the same name. And yes, the Idea for the game is to catch a certain amount of Kiwis to satisfy the beast's hunger. Also, them trucks are not the only opposing obstacles one should worry about, as I've played through this game through until the very end.
I cant wait to hear your thoughts on the gamecube version of Looney Tunes Back in Action. That was a game I got on Christmas eve the year after I got my gamecube, and it was actually alright
Kind of just binging all of the videos on this channelout of order. Haven't finished the video yet, but that 3DS joke aged. Other than fhat, its been a fun ride so far. Keep it up.
Desert Demolition starring Roadrunner and Wil E. Coyote on the Genesis is actually halfway decent. You missed Road Runner's Death Valley Rally on SNES, but not to worry it's an unplayable mess and makes its Genesis counterpart look like a masterpiece.
Don't worry, Stu, I remember Cel Damage. A childhood friend of mine had it and we played it a lot back in the day. Pretty fun game. My favourite character was the 1920s gangster duck hehe. Another pearl of a video, fam. :^)

Iconically, most of my experience with the snes speedy Gonzales game is in the form of a bootleg that replaced Speedy with Sonic saving Marios
Same here. Apparently, the Game Boy Speedy Gonzales game was also pirated into a bootleg Sonic game too.
Yeah I realized later that Vinny from Vinesauce has played the bootleg version because I was watching a recent vid of his and immediately recognized the not-green-hill-zone

_this is a good video_
I couldn't resist. I saw the thumbnail and immediately thought of the tuxedo Bugs meme.
32:56-33:17 is the FUNNIEST rant I have heard since the golden days of the AVGN. NO JOKE! It has me rolling on the floor laughing out loud! NO JOKE!
The DOS Bugs Bunny game was made by RSP, the predecessor to Running with Scissors of POSTAL fame.
I would love to see a POSTAL game starring Bugs Bunny.
"Today is _my_ boithday." So it takes place on *_JULY TWENTY-SEVENTH!!_*

Looney tunes collector alert legit has some of the best music for a game boy colour game. Think I had the same problem though, was bad at games...it was impossible
Oh my goodness, this one was great! The editing you do in regards to things like voice manipulation and stuff never fails to crack me up!
I found your videos recently ive enjoyed just about all of them so far keep up the good work!
Cmon now! The Looney Tunes Show isn’t bad.
Yeah, I enjoy it a lot when I watch it
22:08 Would it surprise you there is a bootleg of this that replaces Speedy with Sonic?
10:20 - those are the tunnels beneath the agroprom institute. I know that bloodsucker spawn anywhere!

A job well done Stu. An impressive piece of work, highlighting a lot of games that I never played, and most of which I never even heard of!
To escape the cell, you the player must spin. Immersion is key.
Helluva fun time watching.
I enjoy your videos a lot, and despite you being "small time", I hope to see a lot more bro.
6:08 really made me laugh
40:32 watching this video I thought was just thinking about how I’d like a game where you were the coyote chasing the roadrunner and they did it! XD

5:32 They did that with this game In Europe this is a Asterix game with sprite edits.

27:00 BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I remember that game from wwaaaaaay back in the day!
There was a GBC game called “Daffy Duck: Fowl Play”. And even though it’s REALLY short. It’s pretty decent. But the game gets pretty hard near the end.
The oldest boomerang ever found was in southern Florida. Florida is pretty close to Mexico. Leave Speedy alone!
Appease the algorithm! Some of these games are stuff of my childhood, man. I know your pain.
Great work, Stu, but about the opening game...

Why aren't there any Loony Tunes games with Bugs and Daffy armed with Shotguns? They use them while hunting during Elmer hunting season after all.
From looking into it, Taz: Escape From Mars is a sequel to the self-titled MegaDrive/Genesis game, which doesn't surprise me, since that game is also pretty broken in places. I'm almost relieved that one didn't make the video, because there are some real moments of bullcrap in that game.
that freaking knocking sound made me take my earbud out and look around

Aww c'mon I wanna hear you rant about The Looney Toons Show just to counter all the praise it has received in recent years.
I'd be interested in seeing him do a full video reviewing the show or at least a few episodes.
"Have you played sonic forces"
Yes unfortunately, and I hate it more then 06.
bro this caught me off guard 🤣 25:45
Wait a minute, that Game Boy Elmer Fudd battle music slaps! 13:52
In "Tasmanian-Devil Munching Madness" your literally supposed to find all the food.
Of all weapons in Looney Tunes...Boomerangs? Frisbees?
Heck yeah, C64 games! Hope to hear some absolute bangers.
I cant wait to hear your thoughts on the gamecube version of Looney Tunes Back in Action. That was a game I got on Christmas eve the year after I got my gamecube, and it was actually alright
imma need more tasteful bobcatgirl images
23:23
Ok, now they're just begging to be bootlegged as "Sonic 4" on SNES.
Kind of just binging all of the videos on this channelout of order. Haven't finished the video yet, but that 3DS joke aged. Other than fhat, its been a fun ride so far. Keep it up.
13:45 You don't know who Marvin the Martian is? Also, have you watched 2002 Duck Dodgers?
EDIT: 19:28 Ah nevermind
I knew if I made that joke some one would think I was serious pffftt
I finished that Cagey Capers a couple times. It's quite hard, quite varied landscapes if you can put up with it.
Cheers! I love your series
Love the video - Glad i came across your channel. Hope you eventually release Looney Tunes games from ps1 and more too! :)
Desert Demolition starring Roadrunner and Wil E. Coyote on the Genesis is actually halfway decent. You missed Road Runner's Death Valley Rally on SNES, but not to worry it's an unplayable mess and makes its Genesis counterpart look like a masterpiece.
Never heard of any looney tunes games. But have play looney tunes game on mobile phone and it is a running game
Don't worry, Stu, I remember Cel Damage. A childhood friend of mine had it and we played it a lot back in the day. Pretty fun game. My favourite character was the 1920s gangster duck hehe. Another pearl of a video, fam. :^)
Everyone loved Fowl Mouth. A lot of people don’t know that was Charles Martinet himself.
How could you forget about Bugs Bunny in Double Trouble mate-
Nice work, love your editing,
Why don't more people watch you? Fuck, this is some good shit.
God this is so funny
Great video!
