Thank you Ken for all these shows. It was your sharing of these run-bys a few years ago that planted a seed in me going into HOn3. I took the plunge last year...and this culminated all the way this year with me visiting Colorado. All thanks to you...and in a way Blackstone. I have to say that the BS locomotives that I've acquired certainly run as well and as smooth as your run-bys show. Greetings from Singapore
I used an AR-1 n my scratch built Gallows TT…works perfectly. Nice job though!
Just loved the run bys. You would never know it was done on a small layout. Thanks for sharing 😊
hello ken it's is randy and i like yours video is cool thanks ken friends randy
Thanks for watching..Randy!
Very nice video! I love the build on the HON 3 layout! The water tower is awesome! This will be a sellout! Outstanding runby's! Now i have to get my steam out! I would like to take this time to thank Mr. Joe Fugate on this outstanding format on our great hobby! This is "The Greatest Hobby In The World" Till Next Time! MoPac Jack Happy Thanksgiving! Rock N' Roll Forever..🚂
Another great project. Thanks for sharing.
enjoyed and liked this beautiful video 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Just a thought, power for turntable is off the main rail, a fuse to turntable would be a good idea.
GREAT run by shots!
The Consolidation needs a number and road. However, very nice shots of the Railroad!!!
Another great video. Nice layout. The piece cutting the sides of the turntable with the unguarded circular saw blade was a little concerning as I could see less skilled people doing themselves an injury. Joshua did a nice Water tower demostartion too. Inspiring is a word to describe these videos.
Great turntable build - just concerned that all the feeder wires are now buried in the foam and impossible to access because everything was glued down with spray foam. You should always leave wiring accessible IMO.
This is true! 100%
in this case the wirers will outlive all of us. plus, the layout had a shot life as I hear it was cut in 1/2 during a divorce. Just a Rumer, that is................
Great! I might be trying to make an n scale turntable before too long, but I’m not sure how to do it since the tolerances are pretty small. It’s not quite the same style. It can just be a circle without a pit as it’s in France.
Also, more n scale!
I also love the use of the French Curve. Learned about that at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum.
Radio Shack???? Those are still around?
I may have missed if this was said, but do you have the dimensions of the HOn3 layout?
Hi, is HOn3 more common than HOm in the USA ? Thanks
Routing circles without a template ism't very precise. Be prepared to do a bit of filling the rough surface.
Yes. but if you do it right the first time its not that hard....
So when the layout needs to be upgraded or gremlins come out of the foamwork, do you just cut the foam and hope to not hit wiring?
no. you do it right the first time. no fixes forward.

🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃👍
sound not so good
Very poor sound. Too bad!
Putting the control panel for turntable is one of the worst ideas ever
What??????????? follow this up.
Putting a control panel within the scenery creates a completely unrealistic scene. Control panels are best placed on the facia area. @@Kensart55
