Excellant.
Please secure your work piece to something stationary when using a router. Also " safety glasses" , a basic even with foam. This series has finally motivated me to start a layout, as I have been waffling for some time now. As a previous post mentioned, why not mount the switches to the fascia?
"Safety Glasses Always" I was "Safety Team" @ Chrysler St. Louis Assembly! MoPac Jack
We have drivers at work that have glasses that are safety rated.
Don't worry about it
Thank you for another brilliant show Ken
Very nice show! I love the building of the HOn3 layout! Just exquisite! The tutorial on how to install a decoder & speaker was awesome! I just love the MoPac products coming out from Bachmann Industries! Thank You Tyler! Looking forward to them! This is the "Best Hobby In The World" Till Next Time! Excellent video Ken. Watching the layout build reminds of ideas not tried. 👍
Great July What's Neat! - So cool, to run some trains while building on the layout, love that!
Great info about the wago connectors...thanks!!
THANK YOU FOR DETAILED VIDEO
Very impressive good job.
Excellent layout Ken
Enjoyed the episode as always! Extra emphasis on the dynamic "follow" and other camera angles/techniques utilized in this episode. It was much more enjoyable and "personable".
Great show awesome 😎
I noticed that the rear passenger car on your train has too much weight its doing the inch worm thing 39:50
hello ken it's is randy and i like yours video is cool thanks ken friends randy
The BL2 was not well received because it was difficult for an engineer to see a brakemen or switchmen give signals from the front gangway.
5:32 seriously I am watching a video of a video? 😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
Hearing, eye, and lung protection while you route ?? Take care Ken.
Why not mount the electrical panels on the wood
I would be interested in Bachmann again if they brought back the B23-7 & 70 tonners in their new series of locomotives.
Im still learning. Why did you cut the track something about stopping power to it.
I would be curious to see what you would do with an On30 layout.
Possible problem with mount sneffle most mountains have a 60° SLOPE &A30° slope bot 2 45° slopes
Hi Ken 😊
Does BLI sell those speakers with the enclosers that are designed to exactly fit and have the plug that fits their motherboard?
That tool is called a “pearl catch”.
Thank you someone gets to use real wood vs crap hardboard!
Ken I've been a viewer cor a while. And as a fellow Missourian I really love your outdoor sessions in south county.. (I used y
To live in Arnold). Really enjoyed your how segment on the E-40 From Broadway. I don't know if anyone told you but your. voice is very much like Bob Ross! Personally I learn a lot from all the shows. I'm actually new to diesels. I'm q long time On30 C&S fan. So anything ondisels helps me learn. Thanks.
I shot the decoder install with bob ross in mind.. Got sent to the hospital with High blood pressure 4 weeks ago. trying to calm things down a bit in the video. The shaking made me nuts! sorry..
How many times have you ever burnt yourself with a soldering tool?
I love your modeling. Especially the trestles. Did Blackstone hire you to make this diorama? I was trying to get on their website but it was down. I did find D&RGW pre-orders at Tony's Trains that said they were expecting them in 2025. I remember reading back in 2019 that they were having issues with their Chinese supplier. Do you or anyone else have any news?
I’m curious about using switches to power blocks on what I assume is a DCC layout. It seems like you’d always just keep power going even of you aren’t using that block. I know I did this with dc when I first made my layout, but haven’t found a reason to flip the switches yet to turn off different blocks.
You are correct.
Maybe it is a DC/DCC setup.
He should have soldered to rail joiners and used old school insulators. Sloppy track work IMO.
@@tonyromano6220Most of what I see, is sloppy, but get the job done kind of work🤷♂️ I still enjoy how much effort he puts into spreading enthusiasm and information about the hobby though.
@@sferguson1130 oh this guy…….lol!
What gauge wire are you using to power the rails?
The 14 gauge = .064" 83 ohms/km will be plenty. The 18 gauge = .040' 20.9 ohms/km for your feeders. I hope this will help you! We are all in this together! All The Best! MoPac Jack
