Great, so the kids are being taught on-camera to not take her mother seriously because another adult has demonstrated that she can just walk all over the mother and the mother just has to take it. Great lesson to the kids! Also, "laziness" can have so many reasons, ADD, being overwhelmed, exhaustion, depression. Those should be taken into account. "You are lazy" means, "you just have to perform, not matter how hard it is for you, I don't care about YOUR feelings, only your kids' feelings". This could be internalized by the mother as "I don't matter, I have to push away any feeling of being overwhelmed, of sadness, distress, exhaustion - I just have to go on functioning, as I am the mother". Then, 5 to 10 years later, everybody is surprised when the mom suffers from burnout and refuses to be treated, because she internalized "I must never show weakness, exhaustion, overburdening - because I am an adult!"

Same. No intellectual thought about what the consequences are for society, the children, and what type of family and how it affects the world around them.
Also, so young. These parents don't look that young, but actually, they are. She's only 30 and he's 31, and already have four kids that are so close in age. They're not too young to be parents, but they are to have 4 of them.
I always thought they just wanted to get rid of it once and for all. Little kids are hard, so if they're all close in age, you just have to go through the trouble once. But I guees it doesn't work out that way for them.
An accident can as well happen multiple times. Even the family Planning methods are made by human beings and they aint perfect. You don't want to start getting children when your body is getting worn out, you want to have them when you still strong enough physically too. The truth is that there are no perfect parents and each person needs help in one way or the other and we cant count. How many times we need help because we are humans.

even when it's the same episodes over and over again?
@@phantomhurricane666 Yes
I don't know if I can get through this whole episode with this mom, I mean she couldn't wait for super nanny to get there and then when she does get there mom fights super nanny on EVERYTHING! Like what did she want super nanny to do??? What did she expect from her????
18:54 The sign in the front yard said forget the dogs, beware of the kids 😂💀
Got 7 mins in and couldn’t listen to that boy cry for 1 more second
Mom needs psych help for sure
Mom needs love, compassion, and patient guidance.
I hope she received the help she needs -- this was taped ages ago.
People who can’t stop laughing are super sad on the inside
Yea
12:29 "How do I stop laughing?"
😒 Maybe hold your breath, think of something else that's personally unfunny to you, literally anything that's the opposite of what you've done
You're the adult,act like it
EARPLUGS DO HAVE THEIR
CORRECT PURPOSES BUT
HANDLING CHILDREN IS NOT
10F THEM .
Omg 18:09 i couldn't stand her laughing at every single freaking thing that happens
Mom is on the sofa in the morning when Jo arrived.

This mom was definitely the last born of 5 children. It's very clear.
I just understand why people have so many kids so close in age. An accident sometimes yes but multiple times. It seems irresponsible to me.
You mean don't understand ❤ I don't get it either❤
This was an exceptionally uneducated and ignorant mother!
Gosh, her laughing everything off just made me want to scream... 🤦♂
These parents are mind blowing!! How do they not get it?!?!
This mother really doesn't seem interested in making any progress
Jo you are absolutely amazing woman, l agree with you on your nanny business , You help so many families. Your amazing loving lady, and not judgmental judgment , you really care…
I was born in 1951. My dad would have hit us until we behaved. I am so impressed with the parents' self-control that they don't spank.
My parents never had to hit my brother and I, and we never misbehaved. Just shows you don’t need physical punishments to discipline children!
My father could make dogs run away by just looking at them. Never would have put up with such nonsense.
Dogs are smart and can read emotions better than people.
The mother’s voice is whinny, how can the children not whine?
Mom lets see how funny it'll be WHEN Jo takes over
What do you do when you're already overwhelmed with kids?? Have another, of course! Never understood that about the people on this show.
The amazing changes, Jo the world would be crazy without you. Love the results you bring to the families
The mother is clueless,a laugher ? What’s so funny mom ? Grow up 😢. Jo needs to check back on this family for the rest of the year .Help…. Love ya Jo.❤❤😅
You guys all make it sound like laughter and silliness is wrong. I’d rather hear parents giggling than screaming at the kids. 😊
I sure wish I had Mom’s sense of silly
1:45 Joseph puts ear plugs in lol 😂😂😂😂
One thing I noticed is their home is devoid of any color, art , plants. Not good for anyone's soul.
True! And they don't seem to go outside or do any fun activities at all either.
Oh my goodness…. It’s a lot of work to be parents.
My body aches thinking about it, but that hard work is true love! ❤️
What kind of food and drink is that ? No wonder the children are hyper !
Get rid of junk foods. Healthy foods for snacks. Chores, share, teach chores. That youngest needs rules now......
Leave kids with dad, go shopping by yourself....why aren't they at school....plan meals. Let kids help with meals. Planning, cooking, set table. Freedom for kids. Let them plan meals....one meal. One day. Take turns.
Jo took it to the STREETS when she said “Don’t Play With Me” ……….this mother called her for help just to NOT take the help
I would love to see and update video on some of her most challenging families maybe
I think some families need more time than others. This family needs extra time. Mom is as needy as the kids.
That is most certainly true.
Mom’s coping behavior is to laugh.
That woman laughed at everything. She wasn't serious about anything and disagreed with everything Jo said.
Sure do hope they stayed on track. This episode (S4-E14) aired April 9, 2008, and I'm watching it August 2023.
> 7-year-old Rebecca is now 22 years old
> 6-year-old Sarah is now 21 years old
> 3-year-old Hannah is now 18 years old
> 1-year-old Joshua is now 16 years old
I LOVE THESE KINDS OF COMMENTS
Me too!
Wow. They all survived?? 😒
I don't think I've ever been more annoyed with smiling my life
Judging by the size of the mom I can assure you she certainly does snack throughout the day. So it's okay for her to do it but not her kids 🤔
The mom seems to smile when shes stressed out or overwhelmed i think its her coping
I love when Jo speaks firmly to the parents 😂
They have to understand the concept of money before they can understand that taking something without paying is stealing.
not necessarily you can steal things from people
learn to not TAKE what is not yours
These videos are amazing
If you cant handle the kids you already have DONT HAVE MORE. 😮💨
Exactly right
Omg the little kid. Pick him up and put him where you want him.😡 Mom is the problem.
