Fran helping the children is one of the highlights of the show. Gracie and Maggie blossomed the most under her care with Gracie no longer needing therapy and Maggie becoming more confident in the series.
It seems like such a big deal because it’s pitted directly against the way CC interacts with and feels about the children. Not to mention it’s from the 90s when the evil stepmother concept was popular and Fran was essentially filling a similar role, so in some ways it was a huge deal that she was so warm and caring. However, in real life no it would not be all that special especially for a nanny. It takes a special kind of person to dedicate themselves to raising other people’s children so Fran isn’t unique there.
I know I've said it before, but if CC ever became their stepmother, she would've shipped them off to the strictest boarding schools the day after the wedding. 😂
Brought love, fresh air, fashion, chutzpa, motherhood the moment she stepped in the house with the makeup! And changed their lives for the best forever!
Its funny how the children were more involved in the first two seasons of the show and then from seasons 3-6 they were in the background most of the time.
I love how Fran has a flashback of the kids when they were all younger. It feels even more real than any other type of scene with the same subject matter.
19:11 I love that maggie loves to wear angora sweaters and cardigans. that yellow sweater, the pink one at the dinner table, the purple-ish sweater and now this cardigan. so nice, warm, soft! and fuzzy. I love to wear angora too...
Brighton is my favorite sheffield child he's funny and witty uts amazing Fran came in and they all just blossomed like rosebuds different personalities........they were so bland at first
😢Maggie had neither the figure or face to be a model and those white tights were absolutely TRAGIC😮Fran should never have pushed her into something she was doomed to fail at😢

Maggie becoming more confident in being yet another superficial boy hungry rich daddy’s spoiled daughter, how great.
The heart of the show is Fran’s relationship with the kids. From the very beginning she genuinely loves them and wants nothing but the best for them
Like that’s extraordinary…. A personshowing affection for kids. It always amazes me how people point that out like it’s something out of this world…

True but also a show of their age and growing up, and needing Fran's support less and less, perhaps?
@@TottiShares i like both answer's
Maybe the actors had less time? Growing up in real life too and and maybe they had to study or whatever...
And even then
They asked for her help, especially Maggie

The Nanny, your content is a true inspiration
I like how Maxwell's children mother gave him closure and her blessing for Fran
I love watching the relationship with Mr. Sheffield's children and Fran. It's very heartwarming; they're like her own children from the get go. ❤❤❤
The children Blossomed under Fran's care.
