I always had the feeling that grandpa has encountered these things in his younger years then eventually forgot it did happen, once he got older so now he views it as an old tale

@@DuskTillShawn Hey, just wanted to comment real quick and let you know, you're still doing it. Been binging your 'Hey Arnold' Videos the past two days to distract me from a major depressive episode. Watching all of your examinations of “Hey Arnold” has me convinced the show had a much bigger impact on my character than I may have realized growing up. Thank you for the memories, and everything you do!
I'm in the Air Force, and what I do is, I maintain and inspect ejection seats for the A-10 and F-16 planes in Korea. In our shop, on my particular shift, there's 4-5 guys that work around. WOAH! That's awesome! I'd love to visit South Korea someday. I bet it's beautiful over there! Thanks for your donation, friend!! I really appreciate it :D
Makes a bit of sense but barely if you imagine that Hey Arnold is set in early, mid or late 90’s and his grandparents are 80ish then it could fit just by the late prohibition especially because you can see a young Gertie cooking
@@GlitterRain15 that’s where I’m thinking. The late era prohibition period, as it would take time for the experimentation. Plus pretty sure alcohol made in that way would have bad smells
The fact they never did an episode about Brainey on Hey Arnold is kind of a travesty. Brainey obviously has a crush on Helga, and he is abused constantly, and it would be interesting to hear his backstory, even as part of the final episodes
Every time I hear the Conductor talk I hear Homer Simpson. Him talking about a steel mill automatically makes me think of the "Gay Steel Mill" episode. Always get a chuckle of out that.

It takes me back to the 90's kinda like I went to hide in an huge basement with a tent & flashlight just chilling with snacks.
1:06:05 I do love how 4 eyed Jack is portrayed as a ghost. He’s not a malicious guy, just a soul who’s misunderstood. He only made a mess and terrorized people because he couldn’t see where he was going. Once he got them, he looked around, noticed Jerald needed to be tucked in, did so, and when Jerald woke up, Jack just said Boo. It wasn’t in a scary way, just him saying boo, it sounded friendly, like he was acknowledging that he’s a ghost.
audio-only gang's here, hi! I have an adhd and your videos helping me to concentrate on my paintings process a lot! it's also very interesting to listen to analysis of my favorite cartoons from someone my age... glad some of my childhood memories not fake, at least ones about cartoons plots😂

I recall watching this christmas episode with my family. Man there wasn't enough tissues to go around for how emotional this episode was. Really highlighting the meaning of christmas and what it stands for. I know it probably will go past most if not a lot of children minds at the time, heck probably me. But, I guess was that rare kid among my age group who saw and understood the meaning and message they were going for. As my family is about that, being there for your family and whatnot. It honestly took probably couple days till I was back to normal and getting my emotions together. It and I gotta say, will always be a very special christmas episode...that no modern television show or cartoon will ever capture.

Ultimate props to you my man! Don't let the hard times get you down! Your recent videos have been incredible, you are absolutely on the correct path, never stop reaching your dreams!
I love how your videos are clean so I can watch them around my young niece. The subjects can be dark, but nothing is inappropriate. Plus, the lack of cuss words is nice.
The scariest Wild Thornberrys episode was the one where Eliza got stuck in the haunted Kenyan forest and heard the ghost girl's voice. Watched that again as an adult and still sent shivers down my spine. I'd love a video on that series!
Audio gang here; I gotta agree the Harold video is a personal favorite of mine as well. Being a butcher myself and living in a poor neighborhood I can relate to Harold quite a bit. Like Harold I didn't have much direction (or money) so when I first started out I was enthusiastic and hard working honed my skills well, really enjoy busy days where I can just knock it out of the park and keep people satisfied. Unfortunately, with the changing times I may have to change professions to keep up with the cost of living.
Audio Only gang here! I love listening to long-form audio (or in this case video) reviews while at work. I work in pest control. Aside from the first 5 or so minutes after arriving at an appointment, when I talk to the customer and get a basic rundown of their situation, I am alone for 8+ hours a day. I'm not a fan of most podcasts, so if it wasn't for content like yours, or the occasional audio book, I'd go insane trying to keep my mind occupied while carpet bombing roach empires.
Audio only gang here! I do a bunch of different things while listening, but as a first year college student (I’m 19 lol, probably a bit younger than your usual demographic) your videos keep me entertained on the commute to school or while doing mindless assignments I don’t need to focus all that much on
I'm half audio, because I'm looking after my baby with youtube in the background. He's a little menace who is now mobile and gets into everything. I love it
DTS audio/visual person here, I tend to put you on as background to listen to and envision what all you talk about, then when I do get time I rewatch and give full attention to what you said
Whoa it's a huge coincidence you put this video out today because I just rewatched two of your scary Hey Arnold videos last night ( Haunted Train and Ghost Bride) so this is wild 😂🙌🔥
Hahaha I love the timing! I just finished my first video with your name on the Patron list last night!!!! It's going live on Friday, but I'm hoping to drop it for you guys a few days early if the copyright claims get cleared quick enough :D
I listen to your videos while in school and playing Skyrim. Nothing too crazy, I know, but your soft spoken voice is very soothing in the mountain of stressful work I gotta do. I honestly feel enlightened by some of the stuff you point out that I usually missed when I was little.
I was just talking to my wife yesterday about how badly I want to start a new Skyrim playthrough! Such a fantastic game even 13 years later. Thank you so much for your support, friend. I'm so glad that you enjoy the videos.
Audio only gang- I’m an accountant at a law firm and am multitasking things for 10 locations . I love how your videos make me feel nostalgic and reminisce on the feelings I’d get as a kid but at my “big girl” job. Love the work thank you❤
For the sake of the UA-cam algorithm, I want to make a comment to say I enjoy watching your videos when doing things like playing games so I can feel like I have a friend with me reminiscing about childhood shows. I'm grateful for the chance to watch your videos about so many nostalgic shows. For the comments mentioned along the "thanks" donations, I wouldn't mind watching/listening to some videos you make on the Wild Thornberry's and the All Grown Up episode brough up if they were something you wanted to make. Being able to see how much passion and effort you put into your videos is why I personally hold them in such high regard.
I'm half watching them to watch your OC be expressive and half listen, depending on the day and video. Been that way for what, almost two, three years now? Wow. The half when I'm not watching is usually just gaming and lying down in a half-conscious state. It's hard for me to actually fall asleep with noise, so the videos serve as a means for me to kind of rest without fully falling asleep and messing up my schedule. Also, yeah, pull the Thronberry trigger. I haven't watched that since it was on TV, so that would absolutely open that door for me again.

Audio gang activity: I am building marionettes. I’ve been teaching myself how to make them. I’ve shaped the heads out of wood and started painting them. Next step will be assembly and making the clothing by hand. When you asked what we were doing. At that moment specifically, I was making the eyes using a photo of my own as a reference. Love the videos and cheers.
Audio Only Gang member here! Been a fan for quite some time of your vidios, Shawn. And I fell in love after a little while. Due to how much energy you put into them. Most of the time when I listen to your videos, I have you on when I typically build and customize some Gunpla (model kits that are little robots.) you're so calming, dispite the dark things that you cover ever so often. I hope your career grows like the light of a wildfire.
Thank you so much for the shoutout, Shawn! The Username is French (since I speak English and French, primarily) I appreciate it and always look forward to your videos 😊
Damn you know your a good person when you thank your supporters for 10 minutes meanwhile most youtubers dont respond or don't acknowledge the supporters
Aww, thanks friend! It’s a tough balance because I know a TON of people don’t want to watch 10 mins of that haha.. But like, y’all keep my kids fed and a roof over our heads. 💚 I’m always going to be grateful for you guys.
As a kid, I never understood the story Mr. Wyn was telling. And then my mum, grandma and I went to see Miss Siagon at the opera house- the second act is set during the fall of Siagon- complete with images of the helicopters, and I remembered this episode. It's a near perfect match. But that could just be my interpretation. 🤷♀️

I really hope you keep it up, I know it can't be easy, I just hope to keep listening to you for years to come!
While playing Palworld, you’re always on in the background!! Love getting lost in the longer 1-3 hour videos while I hunt for pals and make my bases. Keep going strong!

I was even bingeing your videos last night while I recovered from a migraine. I hope you get tons of more support soon!
When I put on your videos for audio only, I'm either A. Playing video games. I don't know why, I just wanna hear my favorite UA-camrs talking while I'm playing. Or B. Practicing drawing my art. Since this is a cartoons (and 90's cartoons) dedicated channel, I feel like it's fitting I play your videos when I'm drawing! Helps me focus a lot.
Audio mostly: I'm a live-in caregiver for my mom and grandpa. When my dad was on hospice I would listen to your videos while doing all of the tedious tasks I had to do. I still listen. He passed earlier april 2024 and all of the nostalgia videos really helped through the long nights.
I mostly listen audio only when I’m working out, or when I’m cleaning the house. Getting a massive pump while hearing about hey Arnold keeps me going lol
Audio only gang report: I tend to have you on in the background while I'm working or gaming, but I usually end up distracted by the nostalgia, and your vids tend to grab my full attention pretty quickly 😂
Dear Dusk, I just started working again after 5 months. I came across your SpongeBob series around the time my old job ended. I love how your videos are clean so I can watch them around my young niece. The subjects can be dark, but nothing is inappropriate. Plus, the lack of cuss words is nice.
I appreciate this SO MUCH!
My 9 year old daughter watches every single one of my vids, so I try my best to avoid vulgar language lol. 😊
@DuskTillShawn this comment finally made me subscribe
I watch ur videos while I'm at work. It brightens up my day. Sometimes I binge watch all your videos.
These videos are so calming. Even the ones that are morbid. Thanks for everything you do
The scariest Wild Thornberrys episode was the one where Eliza got stuck in the haunted Kenyan forest and heard the ghost girl's voice. Watched that again as an adult and still sent shivers down my spine. I'd love a video on that series!
I loved that show mannnnnn
@@chantelowens3218 we have great tastes sis 😎
Audio gang here; I gotta agree the Harold video is a personal favorite of mine as well.
Being a butcher myself and living in a poor neighborhood I can relate to Harold quite a bit. Like Harold I didn't have much direction (or money) so when I first started out I was enthusiastic and hard working honed my skills well, really enjoy busy days where I can just knock it out of the park and keep people satisfied.
Unfortunately, with the changing times I may have to change professions to keep up with the cost of living.
Butchers are very important. Food jobs in general are.
wake up guys shawn uploaded
Thanks for being early, friend!!!!! :)
You're welcome!!@@DuskTillShawn
I listen while i clean, take my dog on a walk, smoke, shower, lol everything! Lol
I do a bunch of different things while listening, but as a first year college student (I’m 19 lol, probably a bit younger than your usual demographic) your videos keep me entertained on the commute to school or while doing mindless assignments I don’t need to focus all that much on
Usually I’m cooking, cleaning, or playing video games while listening to your vids
I'm half audio, because I'm looking after my baby with youtube in the background. He's a little menace who is now mobile and gets into everything. I love it
DTS audio/visual person here, I tend to put you on as background to listen to and envision what all you talk about, then when I do get time I rewatch and give full attention to what you said
Gaming as I listen right now! Sorry to hear you felt defeated, love your stuff!
I appreciate your support, friend.
Powering through it, and will end up stronger as a result!
Never giving up 💪
Pretty much every single Halloween/spooky from older nicktoons is so good
Whoa it's a huge coincidence you put this video out today because I just rewatched two of your scary Hey Arnold videos last night ( Haunted Train and Ghost Bride) so this is wild 😂🙌🔥
Hahaha I love the timing!
I just finished my first video with your name on the Patron list last night!!!!
It's going live on Friday, but I'm hoping to drop it for you guys a few days early if the copyright claims get cleared quick enough :D
@@DuskTillShawn i know right great timing ! Lol and oh awesome thanks Shawn really appreciate this !
I’m working but on my break now! I’m tuning in while grabbing my Starbucks. Keep up the great work! I always loved Hey Arnold!
Awesome! Thanks for tuning in!!!
I’m a sucker for a Carmel macchiato 😁
I like your hey Arnold Videos so much. 😊
There are so many interesting details about the series. Greetings from Germany 👍👍👍
I've been deep-diving into your stuff lately. When I do, I'm typically cooking because I like to keep my hands busy.
Audio gang here: I'm actually producing my own cartoon while listening to you talk about cartoons. Doing turnarounds now
Audio-only gang member here! No way I can beat embalming, but I love listening to your videos while sewing and putting together my cosplays. Shit takes hours so I really appreciate your long-form reviews!
Audio gang (though I try to go back to watch when I can): I listen to your vids when I draw and work on other crafts and when I work at the library. Thanks for doin' what you do; it helps a lot as it gives me something to concentrate on and helps settle chaotic thoughts.
I tend to listen while I'm eating or drawing
The Mr.Wynn apisode makes me cry, even just in review form 😢
Thank you so much for the shoutout, Shawn! The Username is French (since I speak English and French, primarily) I appreciate it and always look forward to your videos 😊
Of course, friend!!! Thank you so much for your support and for being a part of my UA-cam journey.
There's a few instances in stories of a person having their heads removed by a scarf.
I’m always going to be grateful for you guys.
I listen to your videos while I’m working, I’m a salesmen, I work 12-14 hours a day and that’s why I like your long videos. They really do help me stay entertained even if I’m mainly just listening.
I don’t watch a lot of UA-cam nowadays, but you are one of the 3 content creators I still consistently watch ❤
These episodes always made me uneasy and I love it , but as a child I was traumatized lol
I love listening while playing solitaire on Neopets and trying to win just one game (iykyk)- your vids help diffuse my rage :P
Depends
Sometimes I watch them to fall asleep
Usually in the background of my video games or chores
You’re awesome keep up the long format videos I appreciate them.
Hey man, audio only fan here! I listen to your Hey, Arnold videos in particular while I'm working my warehouse job. I drive a forklift and struggle with ADHD, seems dangerous, I know. But your videos really help me concentrate at work because it's content I love, and how you talk about it I just love. Your my favorite long format creator! I really hope you keep it up, I know it can't be easy, I just hope to keep listening to you for years to come!
While playing Palworld, you’re always on in the background!! Love getting lost in the longer 1-3 hour videos while I hunt for pals and make my bases. Keep going strong!
Oh, man! Pal world looks so cool but I haven’t had the time to dive into it yet. I can’t wait to try it though!!!
Thanks so much for your support, friend! I appreciate youuuuuuuuu!!!! 😁
@@DuskTillShawn 😊✨🐾😁
I clean my apartment while watching my nephew💕 you've been making my days alot better ❤ thank you so much ! Love the hey Arnold stuff 😊
We're here for you Dusk!
We need a Arnold character analysis video please 🙏🏾
My plans for the Arnold video are absolutely insane hahahaha. It's going to be freaking crazy.
@@DuskTillShawn it's fine :3
I'm usually writing or gaming when I listen to your videos. I really love listening to your Dark Side of videos. They got me watching Hey Arnold again.
Heck yeah!!! I love Hey Arnold so much and I’m so happy that my videos got you watching it again.
Thanks so much for your support friend! I really appreciate it. 😁
Commenting this before I watch the video. I just wanted to say that I genuine enjoy your hey Arnold videos and as told by ginger videos. Your voice is very calm and honestly soothing. I was even bingeing your videos last night while I recovered from a migraine. I hope you get tons of more support soon!
When I put on your videos for audio only, I'm either
I’m sorry that things are hard right now. Wishing you the best. Thank you, I love you content
Thank you so much, friend! I'm powering through it. Not about to let some nonsense destroy my channel
Audio only gang: I'm a full time Amazon delivery driver, love listening to your long videos to pass the time on the road
The wild Thornberrys heck yes
I actually have a really cool Wild Thornberrys video planned for the near future. :D
@@DuskTillShawn looking forward to seeing it
@@DuskTillShawn oooo,I can't wait
Audio mostly: I'm a live-in caregiver for my mom and grandpa. When my dad was on hospice I would listen to your videos while doing all of the tedious tasks I had to do. I still listen. He passed earlier april 2024 and all of the nostalgia videos really helped through the long nights.
I mostly listen audio only when I’m working out, or when I’m cleaning the house. Getting a massive pump while hearing about hey Arnold keeps me going lol
Audio only gang report:
I tend to have you on in the background while I'm working or gaming, but I usually end up distracted by the nostalgia, and your vids tend to grab my full attention pretty quickly 😂
Dear Dusk,
I just started working again after 5 months. I came across your SpongeBob series around the time my old job ended. After getting laid off it was just me my dog and cat with only UA-cam and other streaming services to keep me busy so I could save money. You get me through a dark time in my life. Thank you and I wish you and your family the best.
Oh, man. I can relate to that so much. I've been laid off before and there isn't quite much that can compare to how that shakes up literally EVERY aspect of your life.
I can't thank you enough for your support and for being here. I'm so glad that my videos helped you get through that time in your life
Oh yeah the Train's Wheels went off the steel🚂🚂🚂
Man, the haunted train song is SO chilling. I love it :D
I love your appreciation for your fans dude! Thank you for the effort you put into your videos! I love revisiting Hey Arnold and your commentary on it.
The Christmas episode tears me up inside then mends my heart at the end; a heart wrenching tear jerking story
2:24 I run an animal care business and I also do grooming. These videos come in handy when I’m grooming a dog all day. Also, I have natural 4c hair. So just doing my own hair takes several hours to do. Listening to your videos really help make the process more exciting. The longer the videos the better for me I love a good deep dive.
