You do not a need a tune to equip our exhaust. Nothing required, for that matter, to install and run the exhaust :)

I have a 2019 Civic hatchback sport and am thinking about upgrading my stock exhaust to awe touring. Im wondering if i need to order the si or type r exhaust for my car
We only offer systems that fit the SI or TypeR civics at this time so if you do not have those models it will not fit.

Would this exhaust flip any lights on the dash on?
Negative. Bolt it on and hit the road.

Yes.
Is the track and touring loudness the same just the touring has no drone on decel and acceleration?
Correct, and at cruising speeds. It's pure exhaust note.

At the beginning of the video there's a ticking sound just before the revs reach idle, where is it coming from?
I don't hear a tick (which upon reading your comment I thought it may have been waste gate rattle, but it's not) I believe you're hearing the motor sucking air back in through the exhaust.
Those are ticking injectors
the type r is a direct injection motor. that ticking is the fuel injectors rapidly pulsing on and off
Can you use the stock front pipe on this or does it have to be the one included with the kit?
It's designed to be installed as a complete system.

I have ordered for mine in South Africa....i have just read on a forum that you need to get the diamond black tips ceramic coated or they will go grey? Is this true
Not sure where you got that information, my friend. Our diamond black coating has chrome within, and may seem slightly gray with light hitting them at a certain angle. Ceramic coating is purely to keep things clean, which yes, coating does help in removing soot to a certain extent.

Is it just me or does it seem that the AWE Touring Edition sounds louder than the Track Edition? Maybe is just the video not capturing the actual sound. Looking to buy the AWE but don't want it annoyingly loud.
Touring has a deeper tone, Track is straight pipes so it's certainly louder. You might want to look at the new Dual Phase Touring Edition as well, which is specifically designed for aftermarket downpipe sound taming. DM us on IG @awetuningofficial if you have more questions!
Will this exhaust pass PA state inspection? It doesn’t delete mufflers, cats, or resonators?
We are based in PA and have the Touring system on our CTR and have current inspection... so I would have to say "yes, it will pass inspection".
Do you know if this exhaust is louder than the greddy SP supreme?
Having never heard that in person we couldn't tell you which one is louder. Stop by AWE if you want to hear it in person as we have it on our CTR with a stock DP and that car is here pretty regularly.

Had this on my car for 2 days… got the touring edition with a stock downpipe. The drone around 2.5rpm is legit horrible…. Wtf am I missing that everyone else isn’t
It's going to be louder than stock, and at cruising speeds you will still hear the exhaust, though it isn't drone. Give it ~1000 miles for soot to coat the steel and the tone will mellow out. If it is still to rowdy for you, look into the DualPhase MidPipe.

It will not void the powertrain warranty on your vehicle. It doesn't alter the ECU and will not cause a CEL.

No, you don't. You only hear exhaust note. Drone and exhaust note are two different things.

@@IamCodyQuinn incorrect. Again, drone and deep exhaust note are not the same. The Touring Edition exhaust does not drone, even in the K20's hot spots.
