The black coach is deffinetly on the of the best models out there. Also out of the 3 mortarchs Arkham is probably the worst, Neferata or Manfred look so much better.
Age of Sigmar honestly has way too many centerpiece models. Like, there are factions that have 3+ alone. Great video, but I feel you need to go back and do another round eventually to please everyone. :D
Dunno what dragon you mean from Diablo, I completed it a dozen times and don't remember a dragon or anything similar to the magmadroth. Maybe you were thinking of Deathwing from World of Warcraft?
Lauka Vai is an amazing model! And their paint job is so-so. Find some paintjobs that tie the two together more. I also own that model despite not having a death army.
So, Teclis is 170 bucks because he can cast 4 spells a turn automatically, instead of rolling dice like other Wizards. I modeled mine without the sphinx, I didn't care for the face of the creature either.
He called Morathi a good guy. That's a paddlin'. I mean I guess it's technically true if you want to be really generous, but still.. Also Teclis model sucks and is way overpriced.
Haha, probably my favourite aspect warrior, but it was a pain in the butt to carve my 18 Shadow Spectres off of their rocks. Too many folk standing on rocks these days, I wish Games Workshop would cut that out.
Lauka vai's biggest problem is its scale as u look at her, her hips are at the level of the shoulders of the lower half so your eyes are asking how can that be 1 body its clearly two but like you both said about the paint job. I would like an example of that model painted in one colour to add another perspective. On another note a way around not using baby skulls because of the unholy barbaric, darkness that may overcome such a person, is to use "shrunken heads " great video 👍👍
Thanks for sharing this video with us. I am sure most of us got a kick out of watching those Age of Sigmar models. Most are above my affordability meter. I also need to work on my painting skills. I would go to town on those models if my skills level was much better than it is now. Love watching your videos. Keep up the great work you do.
As a point of correction, the first model (Morathi) used to be the queen of the Dark Elves. Not the nicest people. I should also note that many of these models look like they were a hundred bucks or more American. So I guess GW has given up on the idea of the 'casual' player? Used to be that I could pick up a whole army for $250 bucks. Those were the days...
My only problem with AOS is they make too many characters look like display pieces rather than soldiers in an army. I want characters to look cool without them looking like something different from the army they're in
Thse models are so packed, I don’t even know what’s going on and where to focus. Most of them are a huge mess where they put way too many details on just to justify the prices.
I actually really like the Teclis mount. I think the face is weird and kind of creepy, and I don't hate it. What I really can't stand about the model though, is Teclis himself giving a Richard Nixon pose off the wings. It doesn't fit, it's ugly, and I have no idea why they designed it that way. Also, wouldn't Nagash be the Boney guy?
like the video ... its funny please made a video "ranking old warhammer fanntasy tin/metal miniatures out of produktion" like "birdman of catrazza" or the "von zeppel steam tank " or "Malakais golblin-hewer" etc...
Don't play AoS and I have enough 40K minis to paint and to last me several years, but I'm really tempted by the Lord Kroak model - also Katakros, Mortarch of the Necropolis is another epic model.
Wouldn't really consider Arkhan the centerpiece of the boner boys, I'd say that honour would go to Katakros or Nagash. Also it's nice to see the Kharadron Overlords get some respect since they're usually the butt of many jokes but I've always thought they're pretty cool, and their skyships are a lot of fun to work on. I will admit a lot of AoS models and factions are very love/hate though, some I think are so specific in design they kind of have a limited appeal, but those they appeal to really love them. Might be worth doing this series again with a second pass through when you're more familiar with the game and model line as there are a lot of factions that have more than one model that could be considered a centerpiece.
So Idoneth: They come from the depth of the oceans obviously, but for raiding the land dwellers their Tidecasters summon the Ethersea, a phenomenon, where the air becomes spectral water in where they can swim with all their sea beasts.

That would be a dream come true after all these years. Finally seeing or at least reading some lore about Cathay would be amazing.
I also think Araby would be a fantastic faction to look into. I saw a mod for Total War: Warhammer 2 that made Araby a playable faction and it's clear they could add a lot to the lore and models if they capitalised on them.
@@johnoneill3654 Araby would be fun to see on the tabletop. If the game is a success, it might happen. I may have to get my tomb Kings again
You guys gotta look at the Grey Seer on Screaming Bell it is hands down the coolest Skaven model
Not gonna lie. Lord Kroak is very close to perfection 😎
The black coach is deffinetly on the of the best models out there.
Also out of the 3 mortarchs Arkham is probably the worst, Neferata or Manfred look so much better.
I know u guys did the zombie dragon but please do the terrorgiest it’s the way cooler version of the zombie dragon
Age of Sigmar honestly has way too many centerpiece models. Like, there are factions that have 3+ alone. Great video, but I feel you need to go back and do another round eventually to please everyone. :D
GW and their Monty python kick of putting things on top of other things kick
i Would love to see them make an army called the Eoneth deepkin.
Dunno what dragon you mean from Diablo, I completed it a dozen times and don't remember a dragon or anything similar to the magmadroth. Maybe you were thinking of Deathwing from World of Warcraft?
I really like that face on the hyrish model. The floating dude sucks though.
Please do not forget Nagash xD
Lauka Vai is an amazing model! And their paint job is so-so. Find some paintjobs that tie the two together more.
I also own that model despite not having a death army.
Age of sigmar models are insane. Love them so luch
I think you ment world of warcraft not diablo this dragon looks like deathwing XD
I see someone has already explained Idoneth so let me just say a) how awesome Lord Kroak is, I agree!! And b) you guys are awesome!
I hate to be that guy but where's nagash if anyone is the centerpiece model it's him
Someone mentioned Star Wars....? RIIIIIOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTT!
Steampunk Dwarves are awesome.
Deathwing is my favourite dragon from diablo 3
So, Teclis is 170 bucks because he can cast 4 spells a turn automatically, instead of rolling dice like other Wizards.
I modeled mine without the sphinx, I didn't care for the face of the creature either.
You must hate making friends
For the algorithm!
the algorithm says thanks!!!
Terrorgheist best on the list hands down, not too busy and still holds its own today. Fun model to paint too with wet blends
Shit model to transport
i like em all lol , i want to build a cities of sigmar army with the best of all the races there
He called Morathi a good guy. That's a paddlin'. I mean I guess it's technically true if you want to be really generous, but still..
Also Teclis model sucks and is way overpriced.
Eldar Shadow Spectres are probably the kings of big, silly, pointy base rocks.
Haha, probably my favourite aspect warrior, but it was a pain in the butt to carve my 18 Shadow Spectres off of their rocks. Too many folk standing on rocks these days, I wish Games Workshop would cut that out.
Awesome video. Is Nick on greenscreen?
Treelords are the best aos model video when?
Lauka vai's biggest problem is its scale as u look at her, her hips are at the level of the shoulders of the lower half so your eyes are asking how can that be 1 body its clearly two but like you both said about the paint job. I would like an example of that model painted in one colour to add another perspective. On another note a way around not using baby skulls because of the unholy barbaric, darkness that may overcome such a person, is to use "shrunken heads " great video 👍👍
EoB: it looks like a honk
Me: LMAO! I can't unsee it now
I am still laughing about this 9 hours later
Like and comment to appease the almighty algorithm 😁❤️👍🏼
the algorithm is appeased!
Why wasn't Nagash in the Death centerpieces?
Thanks for sharing this video with us. I am sure most of us got a kick out of watching those Age of Sigmar models. Most are above my affordability meter. I also need to work on my painting skills. I would go to town on those models if my skills level was much better than it is now. Love watching your videos. Keep up the great work you do.
Common 40k player L’s
WELCOME TO AGE OF SIGMAR NERDS
Those prices are just outrageous.
The sole reason i started a Daughters of Khaine army was Morathis Model.
Normaly i hate those half naked lady armies but morathi...god damn
As a point of correction, the first model (Morathi) used to be the queen of the Dark Elves. Not the nicest people. I should also note that many of these models look like they were a hundred bucks or more American. So I guess GW has given up on the idea of the 'casual' player? Used to be that I could pick up a whole army for $250 bucks. Those were the days...
Now I'm sorta curious how you would rank them. Also should totally do one of these for all the 40k ones.
i love how they keep saying warcraft like when warcraft copied warhammer fantasy
Keep up the good work. You guys keeping the positivity of the hobby from dying.
On Idoneth deepkin and swimming through the air: it's magic, ain't gotta explain sh*t
I'm glad you guys are getting into AoS, it is amazing imho. You need to see Katakros!
Also, wouldn't Nagash be the Boney guy?
like the video ... its funny
please made a video "ranking old warhammer fanntasy tin/metal miniatures out of produktion"
like "birdman of catrazza" or the "von zeppel steam tank " or "Malakais golblin-hewer" etc...
i saw last night for the first time a age of sigmar new stormcast eternal model it was a epic flying dragon it was bad ass
Don't play AoS and I have enough 40K minis to paint and to last me several years, but I'm really tempted by the Lord Kroak model - also Katakros, Mortarch of the Necropolis is another epic model.
Man they didn’t even get to archaon everchosen
"starting with the good guys.... Morathi!" -.. ah, right the good guys.. technically.. somehow... I guess... :D
