bulls logo is on another level... not too realistic, but not too cartoonish. not too detailed, but not too simplistic either. compared to some of the other logos from 1960s it was way ahead of its time and still looks good today. there were other iconic logos, but they dont age well and get updated after 10 or 15 years to look more modern or just to sell more team gear.
SO dope! The Heat & The Magic are the only one that got worse. Dope to see so many go back to icon older logos. Lakers showing you don't need to change it barely at all. That 2000 - 2010 era was overkill on many of those. Great vid!! The new minimalist "patch" style logos nowadays are excellent.
It seems like a lot of the teams now are favoring a logo that resembles a soccer jersey patch. Generally speaking, the designs are going from more artistic and with more realistic animals to more simple or abstract animals (albeit less cartoonish). More of a business man's approach to logos. The Heat's original logo is definitely on fire and I like that the entire ball is in flames. It should've never been changed because it would look just as modern today.
For a person who loves all the stuff related to graphic design, logo and so on... this video is wonderful. Bulls logo is timeless, kudos for the designer who did it. A very hard achevment.
My favorite are my hometown bulls but I also like the original Magic logo, 90s raptors, 90s grizzlies, late 90s pistons, late 90s rockets, 00s warriors, later 90s T wolves, 90s Spurs, 90s Pacers, 90s Bucks, 00s Nuggets, 00s 76ers, 90s Suns, current Kings, late 90s Jazz, 90s Hornets (and current hornets), 70s-90s Hawks (and late 90s Hawks), 70s-90s (and late 90s) Sonics, 1994 Knicks. I think my top 5 would be 1. Bulls 2. 90s Suns 3. 90s Spurs 4. 90s Raptors 5. 90s Magic. (honorable mentions/6-10: Late 90s Sonics, late 90s Rockets, 70s-90s Hawks, late 90s T Wolves and 90s Hornets)
I like how some teams revert to older logos, or different versions of an older logo. It's like they realized they made a mistake when they made the decision to drastically change their logo.
@@oofoof-dx5pxI think the OP meant changing names from an area *very* well known for the 5 Great Lakes (Minneapolis Lakers) and from an area where jazz music was *super* popular (New Orleans Jazz) -- to becoming the Los Angeles Lakers (that one I can kind of understand since we are talking about bodies of water) and the Utah Jazz (Utah is decidedly *not* well known for any jazz scene)

The Bulls basically said “If the logo ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
same thing for real
It's one of the best logos in all of sports for a reason.
Don’t change perfection.
But some Logos were really Trash like the Old Lakers Logo.
It would be a real bad for them. Everyone reconize it because the jordan era
Chicago Bulls so iconic
3:39 The best logo I’ve ever seen in my life
Chicago native Bulls fans all the way, but mad respect to that Pistons logo. Insanely cool! Looks plain and drab now
Chicago .. still there
Absolutely amazing logo
Whoever thought getting rid of the sword in the Cavs' logo would be a good idea should be FIRED
And the first color scheme. It was a great combo.
The best was the 2nd to last, add the cavalier sword and shield.
The shield logo represents the team’s defense, which is currently #1 in the NBA
lebron took the sword when he bolted for los angeles

Late 90's logos were really the best
Denver Nuggets 90' Logos are amazing 🤩
You know no one is gonna like it if the Bulls organization ever change their logo. It’s like the perfect sports logo.
Bulls is iconic as same as jordan.
If you ask about basketball.
Late 90s early 00s best logos teams shouldn’t have changed

Never change, Bulls
If the owner changed the Bulls logo. You won't only anger the Chicago fans. But every basketball fan in general
I miss the NBA of the 2000s and 2010s. Those were my school days.
Charlotte 89/02, Seatle 76/95 and Spurs 89/02 are so iconics
Bulls got it right on the first try as well as the color scheme
Lol the Bulls designer logo said just do one logo and done with I'm not in the mood to keep changing like those other teams 😂😂😂😂

That New York Nets logo from '1987 - 1972' is some Back To The Future amazingness!
3:30 the same
New York Nets 1968-77
The Bucks to me are the rare team that recently changed their logo and saw a dramatic increase in quality.
Both the Nets & Nuggets had great 80s logos.
The Bulls logo upside down is a robot riding an ATV (4-wheeler) or reading a book.
I always say. 90s are the best, and their logos too.
I agree. Best era for the league.
Chicago Bulls never change logo before mj23 and mj23 time after mj23 , all the NBA teams change logos except Chicago bulls
