As a graphic designer I've always liked Philadelphia Flyers logo. Surprisingly in Toronto they cannot draw anything that even remotely looks like a maple leaf.

Kind of amazing how many logos look bad from far away at the start of their rebrands. Like the new ducks logo is very hard to read until they basically dropped all the text and just get the D in the shape of the duck foot. Phoenix had the text in their logo and realized pretty fast that just dropping the text made it look better from far away. A lot of teams dropped unnecessary text with time. Glad they all eventually simplified the detail and shapes and removed the text and redundancies - they mostly look better in the end.

The Hartford Whalers is the greatest sports logo of all time. Followed by the Chicago Bulls, 80s Milwaukee Brewers, 80s Boston Celtics, then Dallas Cowboys. Just my opinion. I love logos!!!
