Why did you put rtv on the edge of your main bearings and inside of the oil channel behind the bearings?
This rtv will all end up in your bearings and disturb the oil flow.
Seen everyone else do it. Its not a lot of RTV.. just a super thin layer. Shouldn't affect oil flow at all.
Every professional engine builder I've seen so far spare this sections out. Same in the FSM.
You know your clearances, they are even thinner as a hair.
Do you realy think the dried rtv gets through it without any harm?
Maybe it will not clog the complete oil channnel but it will definitely will leave some marks in the bearing when it works its way through the bearing.
Weird. I've seen Bader and Devin do it without issues. Guess we'll see🤷🏼♂️
