You can also don't have your other hand below the watch and instead on the right side of the watch so your thumb is on the button and the index finger is used for the screen
It’s more comfortable the right way, aka not your way. I’ve always found it more comfortable to use the index to scroll, but I don’t scroll and touch the screen at the same time, I do one thing at a time, so maybe that’s why it’s more comfortable for me

For inputs i‘m also doing it one thing at a time. But the crown is so damn annoying while doing HIIT-Workouts, especially while doing pushups or variations of them. Feeling the crown on the back of my hand annoys me beyond belief while the smooth side of the watch is way more comfortable.

Wear it normal and use index for the screen and middle for scrolling or index for both because you rarely need to do both at the same time. Doing finger thumb cramps your hand, limits your angles of use, and looks odd because almost every watch in the world has a dial on the right side

That’s not the point. The point is that watches are meant to be worn on the left wrist with the crown towards the hand for manipulating it like you said. It’s about tradition for the Apple Watch whereas on ever other real watch it is a functionality thing.

If your right hand is not perpendicular to your left you can wear the watch normally and still use the thumb for the botton and you index finger for the screen

The “normal” way of using an Apple Watch is with the index finger. You hardly need to use the crown. It’s to scroll and change the volume of stuff playing on your phone.
You do what is comfortable for you, I am just explaining the losing battle you are trying to fight.
I’m a lefty myself and it looks like you’re using it and wearing it correctly to me. I have two different smart watches and I do the same thing with them just the other way around with the watch on my right wrist. Though I could probably wear it on either wrist since I’m ambidextrous. I don’t since I’ve always worn watches on my right wrist.

The problem is the speaker will point now in the other direction so the volume will be lower for you. Also the button being in the same side of the crown is not too comfortable.
Yesterday, I wore gloves for work, and the edge of the glove kept pressing the crow, which was very annoying. I guess that is another good reason to switch them, as shown. Thanks for sharing!

Apple Watches don’t matter, if your wearing a real watch like a Rolex most of the time the crown is on the right side which means you should always wear it on your left wrist so you can change the time etc with your right hand. This is coming from a left handed person btw
