What to do if they dont listen to u and say that ill cook as i want to and everytime u say to make a correction they just start saying that i work in all other homes thay never say anything only u just comment in my work and even they start Gaslight u
thing is you need them they don't, nor just that they know their demand is in every next house so they don't care

Thanks you've described all points I already follow and encourage my neighbour hood to do the same, however we in Delhi are facing a major crunch in honest maids. No matter how kind you're to them, they tend to fleece and blackmail you if you don't meet their demands, which are pretty unreasonable at times. It's a catch 22 situation. you can't do without them and you can't tolerate their arm twisting tantrums

This is becoming a major problem for every city I to am working in a tier 2 city yet I am facing a major problem with maids they want that we should give me double and triple amount and no work..
in my society the maids has union if you remove them from work that they don't do properly even after request and not cutting their salary for x days they don't come to work, then no other maid will come to work in your house, nor just that then even threatened other dare to work in that house, more over they try to defame you.
that's how maid's are Today, almost every other society is facing the same problem, even if you get from online services they also leave as these local miad won't let them work here!

Personally … I don’t like to cut salary … rather I may make it a point to show my displeasure for sometime …. And then get back to routine but cutting salary doesn’t work for me !

If you are paying them really high and yet they take paid leaves it becomes extortion and they take it for granted and keep taking leaves for week or more

Secondly my cook a lady she is regular in her work but a person cannot be perfect in all way and that I wanna tell that she uses to talk with our neighbours a lot and always used to collect masala information of others and share with us which m not liking to listen those stuffs?

You explain this very well. Taking tips from you fir my future because I dint see myself as a house wife and ill always be busy with work. This is very helpful. But my mother is always on and off with maids and she makes all the mistakes you mentioned, as yk our parents are stubborn idk how to explain her all of this she'll never understand sadly. Always causing chaos in house fighting with maids
