- The next Jurassic World movie has a major casting update that has come out with the dinosaurs now returning to David Koepp to write the script and Gareth Edwards to direct. Godzilla in 2014 was a pretty awesome experience so hopefully this new Park movie can be just as interesting.

I think it’ll get delayed eventually. Think about the fact that filming can go through technical issues or some other problem etc. A small issue in the production can cause a big delay in the release schedule.

When I heard Scarlett Johansson was cast, my first thought was that the movie was going to be inspired by Lara Croft and Dino Crisis
Thinking about it now , I feel like she way to hot to starr in a JP movie. Could be a major distraction

All this new information regarding the new casting of characters and the dinosaur information is cool but I would say that I like the fact that guys like you , swrve and others cover all this gets me more optimistic for the 7th Jurassic film.

That Glen Powell dude played "Dave", one of the camp councillors in Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, so his quote kinda alludes to that they were trying to get him on board to play Dave in live action, but he felt like it wouldn't really add anything to the movie and that's why he turned it down.

I’m very excited for this film because I really want to see how Gareth Edward’s take on a Jurassic Park film will look like in his filmmaking style based on Godzilla (2014) and Rouge One: a Star Wars story
Would be so cool to have mercenaries in the jungles of Thailand stumble across the camouflaging Carnotaurs and add that unused lost world scene from the book
Some species of camouflaging dinosaur would be nice. The Indominus should by no means be the only species capable of doing that.

Gareth Edwards is so perfect. Loved Godzilla 2014 and rogue One. Two of my favorite of those franchises even tho some people dont like them.
But they are slower, build up, suspense. Exactly how Jurassic should handle its dinosaurs

I think others have said this but I'll echo it: When I thought it was going to be a prequel AND that Glen Powell was confirmed as on board, my first thought was him potentially playing Muldoon, or a younger version of him at least or something. There are some interesting similarities to their builds and facial structures (especially the eyes) that I could have seen it maybe working.
But with this news that he turned the role down, it's funny because one thought that came to me is: if I had been approached to star in the next Jurassic film being written by Koepp himself and I read the screenplay and saw that, holy shit, it's actually really good, I could see myself kinda being like "Um... I mean, it would be REALLY COOL to star in this... but I feel like this is above my acting chops" Or like "It would be awesome to be in it, but I think Jurassic does better when its stars are kinda like... older...? Instead of all these young 'smoking hot' actors" (which is a legit complaint I have not just with Jurassic World but with a lot of movies coming out today, where everyone has to be "young and sexy," but when I look back at most of my favorite movies from the pre-2000s era, it's predominantly "older" people who were hired because of their acting abilities, not because of their looks :P (That might be a weird complaint)

Man when you say Jurassic Park 7, it makes me feel really old. Lol
They need to get away from the kids stuff I know dinosaurs sell like hotcakes but I hate to say it Jurassic World was the most violent JP/JW film and for that reason I respect it a lot because it was more realistic that way even though The Lost World will forever be my favorite Jurassic World really showed people being competent and not idiots. Guns and weapons were used against the dinosaurs effectively like they should be people weren't running and hiding like the ridiculous Jurassic World Chaos Theory cartoon which makes the dinosaurs look like a joke and I'm afraid that Jurassic Park Survival is going to make them look like a bigger joke because it's going to be a run and hide simulator...
Running and hiding from dinosaurs let that sink in the greatest predators the world has ever known It's just ridiculous in an already ridiculous setting.

One thing is for sure. We’re going to see the results of a literal “crank it out” flick.
I honestly have no clue where this is going to go because all of its info just does not stick. Directors, actors, locations- a lot of it alters drastically either because of bad leaks or they literally are juggling around.
That being said that can’t reflect well on a film. So… I’m curious as to what we’ll get. But at this point I’m not going to set my bar high. If it fails I’m not surprised. But if it’s good, then I’ll be more than pleasantly happy.
CCCT proved a few small shifts and focus helped bring back interest ((for me)). So maybe this will be fruitful.

The quote is inaccurate, yes, but others have pointed out that the scene’s audio seems to be cut, as though it were edited.
🦖 Feels like this movie is coming out of nowhere!! I just hope it’s not so rushed, that the quality lacks. One of my earliest memories is seeing the original at the Drive-Ins when I was 3.

I think it’s best if they delay this film, by pushing the release date from 2025 to 2026. So they can have more time to work on it to put more thought, care, effort & quality into it.

You know what i really wanna see, the planned animated series from the 90s finally made. I don't see why they couldnt just get it made nowadays. Theyve got the camp cretaceous series that seems to have been a success. Marvel seems to have had success with X-Men 97 and DC has been making animated movies and series for years. The plan for it sounded incredible for back then, why not just make one season, put it out and see how it fares. Its not like its gonna cost 100 mil like all these new movies they keep putting out and getting mixed reactions with.
Same with the Aliens animation from around the same time

It would be awesome if Dev Petal was cast in the new movie. He is a great actor, especially in his recent movie The Monkey Man, which I enjoyed a lot
On a side note, they really need to go back to basics with this film, and go back to the Michael Criton novels, since this series was a book adaptation, after all.

I'm just happy that no human dinosaur hybrids are happening i just HOPE it leds with what happened after dominion because i know most people didn't like dominion BUT i fucking LOVED what they set up for the future especially with the ending scene of dominion so i hope it leads into more into humans adapt to dinosaurs in the world.

Honestly, all I have wanted since JP3 is more Sorna! That is quite literally everything I want from this franchize going forward...
Instead, I received a whole JW trilogy that was mediocre at best (JW1 wasn't too bad)...
Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory are the best thing to happen to the franchize since JW1.
That said, here's to hoping this new film goes back to the franchize's roots.

When an actor says 'Gee, I just didnt feel I'd be right for the role', or 'I didnt think I'd bring anything new to the franchise', what they mean is they wanted more money and got told no.

It’s safe to say Klayton You keep anyone who’s passionate about Jurassic Entertained and Enthusiastic. Unfortunately Universal is a Corporate Entity that only cares about money, That’s their driving point and they’re going to keep getting in the way of fully developed scripts that flesh out the Jurassic Film Franchise’s characters and The Iconic Clone Dinosaurs origins.
Maybe we’ll get lucky with this new JW film and they’ll make a hit, I think behind the scenes even the hate is coming from a place of passion for the success of the film. Even if the film does well the canon is still a mess and the franchise took an extreme blow.
We all were left in the dark, we all were let down by Jurassic World : Dominion and They were about to abandon this franchise AGAIN.
If they’re going to pick it up they need to stay on it and handle it with care or none of us are going to go through this river raft ride a second go! This indecisiveness with the films is giving us all a little fatigue of Jurassic.
Fingers crossed Jurassic is somehow fixed and worked on to undo all the mistakes of the past,
