I switched to these as a 8 handicap with a 92mph 7 iron ss. Hit my buddies who got fit into them as a higher handicap and I dropped 5 7 irons almost on top of each other. Spin and launch are great. Can still do a knockdown if need be. Only downside is they are very hard to work left and right but I don’t try to unless the situation really calls for it. If your higher swing speed or lower handicap don’t be afraid to give these a try. It’s like autopilot.
Just had a fitting for these. Was getting some spin mumbers of 6-6500 rpms. Ball speed of 135mph ish and 170m carry. Just about to take the plunge and order a set.
Awesome! We hope that our content helped give these a chance in the fitting bay. Thanks for watching and participating.
Is the Ping blueprint S video still coming this week?
I wonder why the Paradym X had so much more spin?
I’m interested also. Would be good to get confirmation on those results
Interesting data. I got the HLs as a gift and I hit my 7 iron to 171-172 yards. I’m a beginner so it’s not a brag but rather interesting to see what numbers I’d produce
Thank you for sharing!
27.5 loft on a 7, what a joke. Thats my 5.
The number is just for reference, don't be so angry.
@@blackheart7886 What are you talking about. The 7 iron in this set is 28* in loft. Thats an old school 5 iron. The whole thing is a marketing gimmick
@sheilamorrison1954 Again, the number is a reference to pull out of the bag.. you could name your clubs Steve, Jeff and Sue. ... marketing , yes , but still just a reference
@@blackheart7886 Just to be clear, you dont think there is any relevance of club manufacturers creeping loft and claiming more distance? Historically a 7i was 34 odd degrees in loft. That isnt a reference, its an angle of the club. My point is that at 28*, its not a 7i, its called one but its really a real 5i which people think they are hitting 30 yards further.
@@sheilamorrison1954 Well your partly right. But with the tech now, they can make that Club fly as high as an old school 7. Respectfully.
