I’ve always considered myself being a shitty recreational golfer, best ever handicap was 10. I’ve played the Mizuno MP 63 the Mizuno Hot Metal Pro, Callaway Paradym and just played my first round with my new AI200. I’m 81 years old and these are the easiest most enjoyable irons that I’ve ever hit. Love the look the feel and sound. 👍👍
I was just fitted and went with the AI 300 clubs, 2 degrees weaker. My old clubs were 15 years old and I also went to graphite shafts. Even with the 2 degree weaker fit, these clubs are 4 degrees stronger than what I'm currently using. I have only hit on the simulator so far but have picked up 20-25 yards. There will be a learning curve and adjustment for distances. They feel great and I can't wait to get out on the course.
UA-cam golf influencers..always whining about offsets and thick top lines...also online golf influencers... hit better shots with game improvement irons, EVERY TIME. Yet enter tournaments with "players" clubs and lose. I love it.
They look Unbelievable, in fact the nicest iron of 2024. I just got fitted for the ai300 irons and had such a better feel than the ai200. In terms of sound and feel they blew them out the water. Ai300 all the way for me
Callaway sells an “Apex Sweet Spot Combo Set”, which is AW-7 is Ai200 and 6-4 iron is Ai300. A Callaway video stated that they took the different lofts between models into perspective so these two models could be blended like this.
I am not quite sure why you titled the video they way you did. I would have said, "Callaway Apex AI200 verse Apex AI300 comparison." Either way thank you for the feedback. I actually have been sitting on the fence on whether to pursue getting an iron set.
I was fit for AI200 4-AW at 2 degrees weak and played 3 rounds so far. Could not hit the AI300 well at all, the 200s were just much easier to hit in my fitting session. Got fit for the Opus wedges too at 54 and 58, to finish out the set. These replaced my Steelhead XRs I had for the past 5-6 years and these new clubs should last me a long time. Really enjoy hitting these.
Just had my fitted to replace my ping i210 had for years. As I'm losing swing speed gone for blended set 6,7 in Ai300 then 8,-AW in Ai200 once ive tried with them need to gap test my wedges. Might add the 5 iron but happy to use my hybrid for now. Enjoy your reviews 👍
hi coach, could you make a video on how to choose the first blade irons? Whether they are on vintage or more modern sets. As a professional, your opinion would be very interesting for orientation. Thank you very much
Great review. Really helped me know which irons to go with. Agree with the look differences though both look beautiful. Glad to see Callaway continue using Hogan Apex name, another beautiful look from the past
A curious video. Watched the entire thing and not sure I’ve learned anything more than reading a 30 sec PR blurb. You need to play more holes, you need a range session and show us some more data. Without all that it’s just an advert for some good clubs with an obvious target audience by HC range.
Who cares about the back of the club? You don’t see it at address you don’t hit the ball with the back of the club. The Apex 21 were too busy and all of the indentations were hard to keep clean and from getting rust in the crevices

I couldn't disagree with you more. I think they look brilliant. You wouldn't say mizuno clubs need more color on the back. They are clean.

No idea what a series golfer is, but I like the look of them!

We need a series for the series golfers. Lol

I wouldn’t mind trying these.
Offset not really aimed at someone who hits the ball like you do but all the slicers out there may need it !
A comparison test with different shafts?

look really good

Neither, I'm allergic to offsets this large
I was distracted the whole time by that hair coming off your right earlobe, sorry. Bothered me more than the spelling error.🙂
@@renmay3171 😊
I would never with either. "Game improvement" has too much dispersion.
They look superb. What an odd review….
Probably should say serious….
Too much Yap this boy!😴
Series golfers? 🤔
Did he mean "serious"?
There are better ways of saying you don’t like something. This review just makes you sound like someone with an axe to grind.
You’re so off the mark with this video and some of the comments made. Absolute joke!!!
What?
