Your tutorial was top drawer. Clear and concise. I definitely am going to try to make this shawl. Thank you so very much. 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you!!! Good luck with your shawl knitting!!
Thanks so much for you’re helpful tips. Please keep doing your tutorials I really enjoy them.
I’m so glad you find them helpful! Thanks for letting me know!
I also am so glad you showed what would happen if you error. I really love it. 🥰
Haha - hope it helps to avoid some errors!!
This was great! I’ve just watched 5 of your videos. I’m not afraid to start The Weekender soon. 💜
I’m so glad!!! Hope your Weekender comes out great and you enjoy knitting it!
Amazing video - with COVID lockdowns, I can't go into the store to get help. This video was so great. Instructions are clear and specific. Thanks!!
So glad!! Thanks for letting me know! Hope you enjoy both knitting and wearing your Weekender!!
Thank you so much for this video! The explanations are super clear and soooo helpful. I don't think I could have started this pattern without this video. The advice to identify the RS is critical, I forgot almost at once.
So glad you are finding it helpful. Yes - I have learned the hard way about RS / WS mix ups!!
I'm working on this pattern now and this video proved invaluable!!! Thank you so much
I’m so glad!
G’day, what a really good instructional video for an adventurous beginner 😊 many thanks 🇦🇺
Thanks for letting me know and making my day a G’day! 😊
This tutorial was fantastic. Without it, I would never have worked out the cast off. Could you PLEASE do a tutorial on the Inclinations Cowl, also by Andrea Mowry.
Thank you - just jumping back into knitting after a hiatus- I’ll look at the Inclinations Cowl!!
Thank you so much for this! I was confused on how to resolve the yarn overs ❤️
I’m so glad it helped! Thanks for letting me know!
I AM so hooked on this pattern. Currently making a second one.
It is such a great and easily adapted pattern!
Do you mind sharing what the Copper yarn/colorway you started with? It is GORGEOUS. Your shawl turned out so beautiful.
Thank you - I love these colors too!! The copper color yarn is Bella Yarn / Mendocino - copper penny color. I love the Bella Yarns!!
@@knittingwhimsy thank you!!!
Thank you for a wonderful tutorial. He is very helpful. I have a request for help ... How do you think I could replace Sl 1 wyif k1 stich? The side will of course be different than in the design. What do you think about such a solution? Best regards, Anna
Thanks for your comment, I am so glad you find my tutorial helpful!
You could easily skip the s1wyif - and either just slip the stitch or just knit the stitch. The s1wyif is just making for a really nice edge to your shawl. It is a detail - and is fine if you don’t want to bother with it. Hope you are enjoying your project and it comes out great!!
@@knittingwhimsy Thank you very much for your answer. You are very kind and helpful. Thank you !!!
Hello. I'm sorry to ask for help again. But I am a beginner in knitting. How many holes are to be created in Eyelet Row # 1? One or three (one large and two smaller)? Do we drop extra wraps only in triple-yo? Do we also drop extra wraps (one) in yo k2tog? Sorry for my English. This is also the reason why I do not understand the instructions. I will be very grateful for your help!
Happy to help! Eyelet Row # 1 three yarn overs (one large and 2 smaller) just like you said.
You really only have extra wraps to drop in the triple yo - the single yo you just knit into and are done. Watch the video from about the 5:00 mark - I hope that helps!! Happy knitting!!
@@knittingwhimsy Thank yoyu so so much!
