Best needles I’ve found are chaiagoo. I’ve tried a lot. I mean a lot. They are worth the money. You won’t need any others. Trust me. Awesome is the best word for them. Points are great. Cord is memory free and not annoying. Get the set in the black and white case. Just a little over a hundred. They are four inch tips. YOU WILL LOVE THEM.
Each line of Knitter's Pride is different. I don't like those but I do like my Zings and even with the Dreamz, the Knit Picks cable is better at staying screwed tight... I am really a convert to Chiaogoo for these kinds of long, labor of love projects. The tips alone 💖💖💖💖💖 They really are just amazing for lace, fine weight yarn... MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Your shawl is so pretty!!! I love how it turned out! I love that purple/pink tonal!!!!!
I bought that pattern a year ago, when my local yarn shop was doing a knit along I just didn't make it then. I love how you chose your colors....the difference in your colors are awesome. I need to choose some yarns!!!
For your needles, if you are willing to make an investment I highly suggest Hiya Hiya sharps and Chiaogoo red lace interchangeables. I absolutely love my sets. Your shawl is beautiful! I have been debating on jumping on the fade bandwagon, I am getting closer to starting one...

Hi Holly! sorry that you had a bad experience with your needles. there is a you tube video called " knitting needles faves and fails" by Kristine Kelly. this video helped me make a wise choice. I chose chia goo red lace and love them. big investment but no regret. the industry has tried to address complaints we have. a few have been successful. I hope you find the perfect brand for you. don't give up.

You get one nickle plated and one wood #Foursquare needle and a couple cords. I'm blown away. I have tried several Knitters Pride to only have frustrating outcomes. I can't see how they and Knit Pro are the same company everything from Knitters Pride for me has bee a gamle there qulality control sucks. Knit Pros, ive not had ANY ISSUES at all with them. . Always have good joins. I dont have had no breakage, never had them loosen up but they have to twisted HARD. My issuis the connection points with knitters Pride. I don't get it. But I adorre my four squares as much honet to godness as my Chai Goos. Thats a very BOLD statemnent. agree with what I hear very few say but find it true knit pro and knitters pride sre the same compoany. Well if thats soo than their standards are not as strict. I've gotten sets with one connector to the cord is bad only on one needle the other is perfect. Its totally hit or miss for me. Im findng mystlf ysing this set one more orojects t anlace. they perfect. I've sinece done more patterns. Love #Skeino. Im now making the "Opperatta Shawl" to teach mysrlf continentel knitting. Because I'm going to do a TEMPESTRY" lots knits and purls and transitionig to continente from english to make it easier. So I wanted to learn contunentel it looks so much easier to transition between knit and purls and less motion more efficient, quicker to knit up my project. I used to lose my tension is the same with EVERY purl sitch doing continental. I now made several projects one a knitcrate pattern from the Novembers knitcrate the Cris Crosss cowl I knit that in the round all continentel the first ribbing I've ever done. The first 8 rows I was still knitting in the English style but about mid way is when I started the other project Skeino - Opperatta Shawl. where I made the deal with myself that I had to knit this huge shawl all in continentel and if Im still struggling with continentel I don't ever need to wonder or do it again. I'll do what I know. I make those type of deals with myself have had to been in business for myself as an artist 35+ years. Prior to that I still worked always in the arts industry doing many types of jobs. I work as a Muse now. So I'm very good at keeping those deals with myself. So in the mean while I making less errors. Less accidental YO's and I started to like it so much now that all the other projects I was working on became contintel style also. I proudly can say I am a continentel knitter. I love that the Knit Pros wood square #foursquare needkes. . I started knit the cowl in english style used metal Chiagoos for but almost half way transutuined to continentel vcvcavcvcanvcvcavcvcant tel eveything else lately has been with the KNIT PRO -FOURSQUARE. square neeedles. Liked the try ne so much I bought the interchangable set. Sorry this us about needles. I have since needed some connecters to make my cords longer and a longer cord and a few larger needles. Everything can't seem to be found via Knit Pro. So I've bought a few knitter pride accessories. Total gamble. *I am a continentel knitter, because I can tink as well as I can knit in that style.* I've got my purls down now too yay!!! I'm and on the last row of the November KnitCrate, the criss cross stitch over stockinette. (Easy - peasy, you could do it!! ) watch #Teodora. Great instructor. She teaches just that one stitch in the cowl. Dont know if you remember me but I told you I'd trade yarns with you in Nov if I didnt get brown I wanted brown, but I got brown. Sorry so long.
Beautiful work Holly! I’m sorry you had such trouble with the needles. I’m not a big fan of wooden needles. I much prefer metal. I have Knitters Pride Nova Platina. They are so slick and fast and never come undone now that I know what I’m doing. Yours may be defective. You should contact the company. My favorite are my Addi turbos but they do not have a sharp point and that’s why I love them. I’m tired of poking and hurting my fingertips. I only use sharp ones for lace. As I’m sure you know there are many other brands out there that come highly recommended. Maybe next time just order 1 fixed needle and see if you like the brand. I did that for a Möbius cowl. I needed a 40 inch cord. Just a suggestion. Again, beautiful shawl! Love all of the yarns!

Find a complimenting shawl pin. Then wrap the purple in front and tuck the gray under. The pin can hold the purple up so it can be seen.

Beautiful work Holly! I’m sorry you had such trouble with the needles. I’m not a big fan of wooden needles. I much prefer metal. I have Knitters Pride Nova Platina. They are so slick and fast and never come undone now that I know what I’m doing. Yours may be defective. You should contact the company. My favorite are my Addi turbos but they do not have a sharp point and that’s why I love them. I’m tired of poking and hurting my fingertips. I only use sharp ones for lace. As I’m sure you know there are many other brands out there that come highly recommended. Maybe next time just order 1 fixed needle and see if you like the brand. I did that for a Möbius cowl. I needed a 40 inch cord. Just a suggestion. Again, beautiful shawl! Love all of the yarns!

Love the colours but can't knit tried be due to poor grip no joy so I stick to crochet as you can get adapted hooks but love the colours x
