No hard feelings haha, it was interesting for sure to try playing with lumber logs ;) I've always been a 5A player but I can't remember if I ever gave 5B a shot!
i noticed you were out of air, i do the same like a boxer forgetting to breathe sometimes doing fills. I thought maybe single pedal it might be too close, but it does affect the bounce if too far!
This is why many cheaper pedal dont have beater angle ajustment, the one thy come fixed at works for 95% of people, give people to many adjustments and they will fuck it up!
Yeah I tried that 17 years ago and it sucked. Only needed to try it once to know to never do that again. And then again Danny Carey doesn't play fast double bassdrum rolls for extended periods. Because he's a prog-rock drummer. Nothing bad about any of it. Just another kind of beast.
@@BlazonStone wtf, that's how my pedal is since the last 10 years... When i dont have my foot on the pedal it stays in neutral position and it needs force to extend the spring so that it toutch the head. That's wrong???
That sounded ultra tight man!! I've never heard you play badly before, but awesome that you found such an improvement! :)

Fucking fierce drumming. I love it.
a side on angle of the perfect beaters angle would be great. hard to gauge from top down

Great! I suppose you can compare it to having a high action of guitar strings which makes faster playing more difficult? 🤔😁🤘🏻
@@BlazonStone oh, I do love when I say something smart 😂🍻🤘🏻
@@BlazonStone tomorrow we'll do something special 😉❤️
That can't be the root cause. Have you seen the beater angle on Danny Carey's drumkit? They're at like a 90º angle

The Swedish Dave Lombardo
ildur one day homie ....one day, you will be up there 👆
how you know how to evaluate if its set in a way that the last part is forcing too hard to reach the head?
Should reach the head without feeling the last part is forcing it backwards
