I had a pro max.... made the switch to the ultra. And I love it so far. You won't regret it. I mean I still feel Apple is more fluid. But Samsung is smooth as well and has way more to offer. Good luck

You can customise it more and have a less restricted experience. Also has cool features like the desktop mode and its powerful enough to emulate wii games using dolphon android. I had a 5s and 8+ prior to this glad I upgraded s20 was worth every penny
That's because it is. I do love their designs, and phone accessories are much more common than galaxy accessories which is my biggest peeve. Apple use to be about innovation and affordability, not anymore.

I think phone companies invest to much in cameras. I rarely take pictures and I think one of the man reasons they are getting more expensive is because of the Snapdragon Proseser and the CAMERA. No wonder we don’t have voice ID yet 😒😒😒😔😔😣😖
If you enable Fingerprint and Face ID, you're actually less secure. The best way to be most secure is to have a Password that is not digits and as well as Fingerprint

Also one setting he didn't touch on. In the camera app menu, under save options there is I believe a pair of toggles to either enable or disable the distortion that happens when you're using the selfie camera on the front and also the ultra-wide lens on the back. I myself always want those enabled because I hate the distortion that happens when you're taking photos with some lenses.

What's up with the notification sounds. My ESPN notification can't be changed to the ESPN theme sound. The snapchat sound can't be changed to the original snap sound etc
If you copied everything over from your old phone that's why. Uninstall the app your having issues with and reinstall. The notifications will go back to the original 😁

You covered soooooo much. You may have covered this. Every smartphone I have owned for years, LG, Motorola, Sony, Nokia... all had the same order for the navigation buttons except this.. box circle arrow. This S20 is backward. At age 67 this is very hard to change. I noticed they are a video overlay, not painted on. My Verizon guy says, no, they are painted on. NO they are not. I told him, in computers you can Google any answer if you know that the part or menu is. After about 2 minutes he smiled n said, you can swap them the opposite direction! Am I the ONLY one having my Nav buttons backwards! Cheers.
First thing to do is take it back and get your money back. It has firmware issues that Samsung won’t fix, Code 470, tech support says that they know about it, but it’s not a priority for them. I was told to just deal with it.
Thanks for this. I've had mine since Tuesday and it's a major upgrade compared to my S8 which is still a great phone. I'm just glad to see an S20 video over the tons of Ultra videos.
I also upgraded from the S8. S20 is heavier and takes some getting used to. Better battery life and much faster charging. It feels snappier too. I kept the S8 for my kids to stream TV.

@@wellhellothere5928 it's great, battery life is good, the display is georgeus, the camera is great, though I will probably still have to play around in the pro camera mode to make it as good as possible(because harware wise it is fantastic), since by default it has maybe a bit too much contrast and the colors are really vibrant, almost too much (I'm not some kind of pro photographer so I don't know if I expressed it right). Also switching to android is no big deal, the only thing is I can't see the imessages my family sends in our group, since they all have iphones, but I'm not missing any important stuff
@@wellhellothere5928 a lot has to do with what are the things your looking for the samsung has the better display, the battery life is probably great on both, and the cameras are both fantastic, with each having advantages over the other, the iphone camera has better video and probably better photos without any setup, but the samsung has a lot of great hardware in the camera so it shouldn't be overlooked, then it's the operating system do you want ios or android( for me both are great and offer some things that the other doesn't), but really for me the main thing was the price as I got my s20+ for 680€ and you can probably find a brand new one now for around 600-650, while the iphone might run you around 900, also I don't know about longevity so much, the iphone you can use for around 4 years(or even more), but this is my first android so I don't know how ling it should last but probably something similar
How'd you get the tracking autofocus setting to not be grayed out on the camera settings with rear camera resolution set to UHD 60FPS? What am I missing I paused the video at around 27:16 and our settings matched but you tra0cking auto focus is enabled and not grayed out. Anyone know?
I dont like passcodes, face reconisation, fingerprints, patterns and passwords, so I keep my phone with no codes passcodes and yeah so idk what to say so y-y-yeah
I get excited about a larger screen only to see the screen getting narrower and narrower! Pretty soon a phone will be 7 inches but as narrow as a pencil, RIDICULOUS!!! The narrower it gets the smaller the content gets!
Dark mode does it help with burn in my S8 Active got burn in I have one minute timeout and have brightness at 50% burn in didn't start til mid 2019 have had phone since 2017?? 😐📱
Will burn in be a problem for me? I got my s10e a few months ago and mostly use it on minimum brightness in dark mode, but sometimes in daylight I have it at around 50 percent brightness for a few minutes when taking photos, checking things, ect. Idk if mostly using minimum brightness reduces burn in though
Just got the S20 FE 5g phone today, previously on iphone XS Max have been using ios for years and was totally lost using android. When you select to hide the content of the notification on lock screen. Then your phone recognizes your face on the lock screen does it show the content of the notifications like on when Face ID recognizes you and shows the content or it still stays hidden ?

My biggest thing I hate is if I take my phone off charge or do some specific things... a little grey bubble comes in the middle of the screen, like with charging and says that it has been removed from charger but it takes FOREVER for it to go away.

When I first had the phone I noticed that when ever I would take a picture it would capture a small video and now it won't do it.
Please DO NOT recommend face unlock! It's not Apple's faceID and can be fooled with a simple picture! Very unsecure!

How'd you get the tracking autofocus setting to not be grayed out on the camera settings with rear camera resolution set to UHD 60FPS? What am I missing I paused the video at around 27:16 and our settings matched but you tra0cking auto focus is enabled and not grayed out. Anyone know?

I get excited about a larger screen only to see the screen getting narrower and narrower! Pretty soon a phone will be 7 inches but as narrow as a pencil, RIDICULOUS!!! The narrower it gets the smaller the content gets!

Dark mode does it help with burn in my S8 Active got burn in I have one minute timeout and have brightness at 50% burn in didn't start til mid 2019 have had phone since 2017?? 😐📱
Will burn in be a problem for me? I got my s10e a few months ago and mostly use it on minimum brightness in dark mode, but sometimes in daylight I have it at around 50 percent brightness for a few minutes when taking photos, checking things, ect. Idk if mostly using minimum brightness reduces burn in though

I upgraded from regular s9 to s20 plus. My 9 year old daughter has the a51 and at first glance it's hard to tell which is which.
Just got the S20 FE 5g phone today, previously on iphone XS Max have been using ios for years and was totally lost using android. This info vid has helped me get to grips with the android system but keeping my iphone for a couple more weeks just incase.Thanks for taking the time to put this on here and helping out a newbie.

There's absolutely no reason to upgrade your mobile device every year if you're not a UA-camr. I've had my OnePlus 6T since 2018 and it's still feels zippy

I agree I have Samsung Galaxy S 8 Active had it two and half years the battery has gone to crapper so I upgraded to S20 I'm excited for upgrade I skipped S9 and S10

When you select to hide the content of the notification on lock screen. Then your phone recognizes your face on the lock screen does it show the content of the notifications like on when Face ID recognizes you and shows the content or it still stays hidden ?

When you keep it to icons only you can tap on it and it will expand and show you your notifications just like the detailed notifications

Apple are way behind with there tech like the in display fingerprint scanner and the 120 hz display in the phones. I have both the iPhone 11 pro and the s20 ultra. The s20 outperforms the iPhone 11.
JUST NOTE, I JUST BOUGHT A S20+ AND THERE ARE FEATURES THAT YOU DIDN'T HAVE AND THEN THERE ARE FEATURES I DIDN'T HAVE THAT YOU DID. My biggest thing I hate is if I take my phone off charge or do some specific things... a little grey bubble comes in the middle of the screen, like with charging and says that it has been removed from charger but it takes FOREVER for it to go away.
