Your can wear rubber gloves and unlock your S20 smartphone. Just make sure you initially setup your finger print while wearing rubber gloves. One of the cool things that the S20 ultrasonic scanner can do.
@@ThisIsTechToday this is a great phone. I am impressed by the display (120hz), cameras and one ui. I have exynos on board and I can't say anything about the battery (sot). It is definitely not a snapdragon but after two full cycles it is not so bad
I've been using the s20 ultra since Wednesday. Samsung pushed the 2020 March update yesterday but still has the camera focus error. No big deal I can wait for another update.
@@smartphonerepairwi775 Yeah I agree, I've had my S20 Ultra since Tuesday, the 108 mp is really unfocused, I perfer the normal camera at this point since its a 12 mp with 9 individual pixels.
I've been looking at moving from iPhone to the S20+ for a little while now, and I think this is the best tips video I've seen so far. Saving this to my Watch Later playlist, so I can come back and reference a lot of these ideas for when I get the phone. Also: Haste The Day!!! Good stuff :)
I did buy S20 yesterday. A used one in pristine condition for 180 $ no charger and earphones tho :( and I did buy 1 TB sd memory card 89$ and my memory now is 1152 Gb :D I am having a blast with this phone. Love it! My last phone was Galaxy s8 and it was such a good phone it took me 4 years to move to next Samsung, so I did choose s20. I did want S21 or S22, but Samsung made a big mistake removing the micro SD card slot. I will not buy any Samsung phones without SD card slot. Losing earphone jack is allready painful cause I have really good earphones with a wire which are useless now. And every day charging bluetooth earphones is not fun.
@@martinlatvian5538 if you like your earphones, you can buy a USB-C to headphone adapter. And yes, I agree that Samsung shouldn’t have ditched the microSD slot. I would have upgraded to the S22 Ultra by now, but my carrier doesn’t hand the 1TB model, and I’m not dropping $1600 all at once for a phone.
Or you can go to settings and in the search bar type in "animations" . Then go to "remove animations". This way you don't have to mess with developer options. The other option, that you showed, of reducing animations will also be there when you just search "animations". The remove option is actually under "visibility enhancements"

Not related, but I love that Sonder and Polaris were listed as some of your favorite albums. 👌👌 This video was super informative though! Much appreciated.
Just came across your video and LOVED IT (I've just bought a reconditioned one and am loving it!). I know that there's an option to "Silence notifications whilst driving" but I wondered if there was any way to actually (automatically) reply to let the sender know that the message would be picked up (and replied to???) when they were not driving. Maybe it already exists "somewhere" but I've not been able to find it. I really feel that it would be a VERY useful option and would stop many people actually typing whilst driving!!!! Once again, thanks for a great video - stay safe! Raymond (London, UK)
This video was extremely helpful and I learned some new things. Moving your palm across the screen to take a screenshot is a GAME CHANGER!!! Also, other helpful tips that you didn't mention are related to the Camera app where if you go into the "Settings" and to "Shooting Methods," you have options to set a "floating shutter button" so you can capture an image easier if you can't reach the middle of the phone to press the shutter key...OR MY FAVORITE OPTION which is enabling "Voice Commands" where you can capture a photo by SPEAKING, either saying "Smile" or "Cheese" or "Capture" or "Shoot" or you can record video by saying "Record Video" while in the app; very helpful if you don't want to use your hands for capturing media.
Excellent vid and beautifully presented. I'm sure now to get a whole lot more usability from from my S20+ now thanks to you! Thank you and cheers from Sydney, Aust - Dave
Something I use a lot is the ability to highlight and copy, text and things from the background-apps-list-screen AND then be able to paste it to another screen. It makes copying and pasting so much faster, as if you had split screen being used. You can even copy and paste from sites or pages that don't seem to allow you to highlight text. Pulling up that list of opened apps allows you to then do so. But beware, sometimes it doesn't work right, especially if the text is small. Edit: At least this is something you can do on pixels. Assuming it works on other Android devices? A good example of this tip's use is right here on UA-cam. You can highlight, copy, and then paste any part of anyone's comment 🐱
Brilliant intricate video, best watched after other more simple 'first things to do videos', this one covers a lot that others miss. You can tell the difference between an expert using the phone and a standard user.
