Hello my friend, I completed your conversion and it has been great. All of the sudden it would not move anymore and in the front wheel it feels like a thump or the wheel does not move freely. There is a E09 error? Any ideas? This is on the 590.

Quick Question: do you know where I can find the bolt that locks the front turning wheel to the handlebars, I have one but I don't think it is the right size as it just wiggles around and allows the wheel to move slightly
Haha sorry but seriouy, hahahaa. You and everybody else are plagued with that problem. You may find the part if you look to ebay for "spare parts" on scooters. You can check out the model of the scooter as a birdone 590 i believe.

you can put any aftermarket light as long they are 36v.but about bms chance about need to be bypass is very high
@@samzone8920 i had to Bypass the bms. Took me 10 minutes max. to wire the frontlight i use the black and red cable from the white adapter. There was 5,5v and it works great. Very bright

hello , can you help me please. i do all the same , the scooter works, I have not yet made the modification on the battery to solve the problem of the bms. Earlier I tried the scooter but it stopped. I thought it was the safety of the bms so I unplug it and plug it back in but it doesn't work. This shows me the error 7 which is the motor problem, by manipulating with the green electric wires I manage to remove the code 7 but the acceleration still does not work. sorry for my english i'm french

Hello friend! In the min 1:31:39 You use a motherboard to connect the main light. Could you tell me what it is for and if necessary?
I can, it is a step down. For the reduced voltage going to lights. Without it you blow your lights out or a fuse. Im not sure as I have always just used the step down. Look it up on ebay or Amazon to get a look at it. I had to really identify the components on the board to match up the proper one to buy online. But yeah if you dont want lights its OK to leave out.
Its a step down dc board. Look up on ebay and pay close attention to what his looks like. Then scroll through the different selections of them until you find the matching one. I forget which I bought.
The functionality of it is to reduce the voltage for the lights so they dont blow out like a bad fuse. Haha if you want a work around for this step down dc board then just get a switch of any sort and then place your separate power supply like a 9volt battery works well and place the circuit in the scooters head space. Adjust /modify needed pieces to fit securely but thats it. Change out your 9volt anytime need be. Use hot glue to seal the parts and water proof its insides again.
I have followed everything you have in the video except the DC Step down and after about 10 seconds my screen just shuts off. What can I do ? What part in the video did i miss ?

I make all like you but.. the blue câble from my controller is BOOST... I have a double white and Black for brakes , I put my Yellow câble (from blue plug) on the white and Black on Black.. brake doesnt work.. for the rest all work perfect. I have the rear wheel model, my front and rear light are pluged on the controller, work fine. and the speed is crazy, I dont touch the settings yet but ride at 45km/h😮

@@golfrobert always use common sense and be very careful because those battery are very powerful but if you do all correctly never will be risk of fire

I bought a used 590 for my son. It's not in the best shape requires some work but was quite cheap. ;)
Anyway It is good for us but some things are missing:
1. the unit is always ON, so it drains the battery - there is no button to turn ON/OFF
2. there is no speedo/battery-meter
So I made some research on the net how to re-buid the scooter and found samzoneworld's videos which says:
1. I have to replace the ESC.
2. Unfortunately the aftermarket ESCs are big, so only the 350W ESC fits into
3. I read several posts about low speed issue or ESCs turning OFF after several secs
4. the solution to both problems is to open the battery and change the BLACK cable to override certain part of the battery's BMS module???! Does it help with the built-in security whatever in the battery?
5. but does it really solves both issues?
6. what will be possible max. speed, the same with the old 500/750W ESC?
7. what about the controlling board which contains the GPS/SIM module? will it work w/o a controlling board? the original ESC ofc does not work w/o that unit...
8. what about just adding an external screen to the original ESC (with ON/OFF buttons) - I guess this is where a re-flashing would be necessary?

Hola! I really like your videos. I tried following the procedures but I have an issue. The scooter works fine in the bench but when I try to ride it the power cuts after a few meters. I’ve tried already two controllers and changing settings in the controller monitor but no success. I wonder if this happened to you.

Hello . I made all the connections as in the video and all part of the display turns on and I set everything as you said in the second video. but after 10 seconds and the display runs out of power and everything stops
All is going well without weight on it. If I try to drive it goes off, I need to pull the plug out and in to restart.

All harnesses are soldered OK, using the exact same controller + display you mentioned. I haven't connected the front light because don't have the step-down converter.
The scooter turns on, throttle and brake work, but as soon as it draws power (5th gear power, or a single person riding at low speed)... Wheels suddenly stop spinning and scooter shuts off, like there's no battery. Just as if it were drawing too much power. Any idea?

You'll have to bypass the BMS in the battery, Sam has a video showing how to do it. After bypassing the BMS you'll reach max speed ;)

Okay a specific video on the relearn procedures would be the last thing remaining to make your channel 100% complete on the conversion of the bird one to a civilian model. I'd like to report and thank you personally I just finished my BMS battery bypass and LCD settings for its first test drive and I topped out at about 28 miles an hour going slightly downhill and around 24 to 25 on a pretty flat grade!! I'm a little nervous that I'm going to be overheating the battery and that it might fry it out with BMS Bypass but I got three more of them so I don't really care right now. Take up a piece of garbage and turn it into a workable item again

the only gps i know is the one in the top pole center i dont think they will put another gps is to much money for the company to pay for two gps but open the battery and double check you need to open it anyway to do the bypass

At 33 minutes and 50 seconds you starting to do the power cable red and black thick wire to the red adapter cut off the old controller my red adapter cut off from the old controller has a red a black and then four other smaller auxiliary cables the colors of red gray purple and black I don't see these on yours where did they go what do I do with them

Hello again. Recently rewired in a new board and got a puzzling effect. It now wants to kick into reverse when ever I apply the breaks. Until I break again to reverse its reverse. Where did I go wrong in the wiring.lmao
I think you put the brake in the throttle and the throttle in the brake

Yeah have you located the 2 green wires connected together by a plug? Well he tells ya in the video at the end how its done. But if you are running the throttle and it starts going in reverse then you gotta unplug the green wires while still throttling and then plug them back in. It ahould correct the problem. I may be a little off so check video again to verify

To answer the question about which two green wires, it is unfortunate that it escapes my knowledge on what they are called particularly. However i do recall some identifying traits to help navigate anyone to the correct pair of green wires im speaking of. Answer = if you look to the control box you will find 1 particular pair of green wires plugged into each other. And those two are the (self learning wires) i believe he refers to them as. They ¹need to be connecter while scooter is not operating throttle. then ²throttle needs to be applied (and held down) while you ³disconnect them and then you should be able to ⁴let go of throttle and ⁵reapply throttle now as it should have reversed the direction of the wheel. You now can plug wires back together for a good rider experience with no backspin after you power off and back on again. I may be wrong a bit on the instructions but definitely right, on the pair of wires to use! They i think act as a key ignition. Or lock on other scooters.

@@talkingben3814 well with 52v battery and a bird motor maybe around 30 for the temp just try to get a temp a regular temp gage with a small sensor tip to run the cables thru inside the hub motor or if you dont want to run any wires try to get a laser temp that fit you need

that code is for battery undervoltage you need to set the p15 setting and set it to 28v and you are set and make sure to fully charge the battery

Ok sam, most of rent escooter use electisan es200 aka the tank, but anybody hack it, and in few month we'll find only this model and i hope someone like u will do it.

@@damoon5470 here in usa they are changing for new scooters bird have the bird one and also the bird two and jump is using electisan falcon f350 and spin and lyft are using the new ninebot max this scooter are better than electisan aka the tank i just build the new jump the electisan falcon with the same controller and is making 24mph easy without overheat anything that motor have 40 magnets so go faster than the rest the rest of scooter only have 30 magnets

Where is tracer gps in this bird model please ?
He states the GPS is in the top most piece on the handlebars. When you remove the cover off the top head piece you'll find the board responsible for that GPS. Look at his YT channel and check out his videos. You'll find what your looking for there. Happy trails!

if you build a electisan 350 with same controller you get 25 or 26 miles per hour the motor have 40 magnets those bird have 30 magnets only they build for torque not speed

Sorry for Delay.. I have the Bird 590 with 350 Brain power speed controller … I’m only getting a clean 17 mph … My daughter ran it for almost 2hrs battery 🔋

@@h0nza_Sry it took some time, im not so often online. i didnt do any wiring at all, but got it to freedom directly from Pc. Just needed some 2buck 4 pin adapter from Ali to connect the mainboard to PC and to download some SDK.
