- so guys let me put something very clear for those people that dont know anything about bms, by doing this method you only will bypass the current draw side of the bms not the charging side of the bms. never never bypass the charging side of a bms its very very dangerous consequences can be catastrophic

Bro dont dig in a battery bms with a metal tool, use some wood or plastic tool, like a plastic disposable knife to scrape the potty, i bet some dudes are going to blow the bms seeing this video
Will it effect the changing of the battery like over changing? Or will it change normal and kick out when full changed?
you really only need to tap the battery output before it reaches the BMS no cutting anything. Find the positive post and negative post and wire that directly to your scooter or ebike. The BMS will charge the battery like before just need to be careful you dont over discharge your battery or its gameover. Use a volt meter and stay above 29 volts . You see 30 volts its time to stop and charge your battery. Also know your battery limits and dont over amp it by going full pull or you might overheat your batteries.

Does it matter if the battery still has power or should I say charge to be able to solder it ???
you can solder anyway with or without power just be very careful when you work with lithium battery they are very powerful batteries you dont want to short them

Burned down already? It's a totally clever idea to take a metal screwdriver and scratch it over a non-visible BMS while it is still connected to the cells.

If you bypass your bms then only bypass your discharge... still charge through your bms to prevent fires... be careful not to over discharge your battery tho... and since the bms is on the side with the cords you could press out the battery only like 4 inches to bypass the bms and then slide it back in yes??? Ok cool thanks...

Why would I need to do this?
To avoid the discharge protection, when you change ESC the current discharge is higher and BMS disconnect the power.

I did what you said and I don´t know why but my battery explode and burn, luckly it was in the scooter and the fire was little but smoke was horrible. Still cleaning and stink forever. I recomend you delete this video for other people don´t have my luck. thanks
in order to do this task you need to have electronic knowledge and common sense
One of yours cells was faulty this mod will only make your pack burn up if your trying to pull more amps than batteries can provide. The original controller is still pulling the same amount of amps so this mode wasn't why your pack fryed.
Your battery probably started on fire because just like the OP you used a metallic tool to scrape off the potting compound and created a dead short that destroyed the battery.
