I just saw him in Kansas City playing Soul Bass and this piece as an encore. I’ve been in a rabbit hole since. Xavier is an incredible composer for one, but one of the best masters of an instrument I’ve ever seen. He plays Bach cello stuff on the wrong instrument and it sounds better than most cellists.
This has a very similar style to Lost Child. Maybe do a third to make it a trifecta? Amazing as always, Mr. Foley. Is this one for sale yet? Just saw your description, lol. Gonna buy it once I get good enough.
