  • Ever wondered what the monthly costs of living in a van are? How much does vanlife actually cost? This week, we bring you along to share what the monthly expenses of debt-free van life are. We share everything in order to give you a realistic look into what it costs to live the #vanlife !
    ▼ Make sure to SUBSCRIBE to our channel ▼
    The costs given to you in this video are the actual costs that Logan pays every single month to live in the van. For the purpose of making it easier for the viewer, the costs shown to you are for a SINGLE person living the vanlife. We did this, as most people starting vanlife will be single, and if you are a couple, it is significantly cheaper to add a second person into the mix!! These costs are also DEBT FREE - Logan has no debt and living the vanlife is a great way for her to save money and continue to be debt free.
    We have made a google doc to help you with budgeting and planning out how much it will cost you monthly to live the vanlife. Find it linked here :

    Thank you for the video. I love your dog, very chill. Sounds like you both have good habits when it comes to budget and spending. It's important for sure. Especially a fund for emergency repairs. Wishing you well.🚃

    Hello! Love you guys and your videos. I'm in the USA, but parents are from Quebec. I'm wondering if you call your insurance company, to see if they have roadside service at a cheaper price. Also, you didn't talk about pet costs (insurance/food). Enjoy life!

      Thanks Scott! Unfortunately our insurance company is complete crap lol! As for pet costs, we are very transparent about this (answered fully in our q and a video) but, Bella is my (Logan’s) family’s dog and she is with us as often as we can get her lol- with the quarantine in place here, we are parked at my parents place and spending all our time with the dog. Thankfully we get a free pass on her :P. All the best

    Actually, I have a question. With everything going on with the corona virus, do you think it’s a good time or the worst time to transition into van life? I’m not interested in travelling across the country or anything; I probably won’t leave Ontario... but do you think it’s going to be harder to find places where it’s ok to park or camp? In the near future? Thanks, luv you guys and your clarity and openness on everything. ❤️

    I’m planning on living the van life but don’t know how to get that much money whilst on the road !! What are some ways to keep debt free and earn money ?

      There are a lot- especially since tons of jobs are moving remote because of covid. I recommend checking out the My Solo Road podcast as Sydney has a great episode with tons of ways to make money on the road! - we will have to address this in a video as its such a massive topic :)

    Who do you use for your unlimited data plan on your phone in Ontario?!

    • @Snowstead
      @Snowstead  4 роки тому

      I use Bell. its 10 gb at fastest speed then once you go over 10GB it is 'throttled' a little bit with no max on how much you can use (if they notice you went over- sometimes they do, sometimes they dont). Works great!

    I may have missed it somewhere, but how do you shower?

    • @Snowstead
      @Snowstead  4 роки тому

      We haven’t touched much on it in our videos but we shower outside, in public places, gyms or at friends/family’s! It works great for us
