Great video , lots of good points . Snow industry has and will always be a gamble . Especially with climate change now . Take a certain kind of person that’s for sure . So from what I gathered . You charge your residential per push ? Have you considered doing seasonal rate for residential. Here in PEI , per push is almost unheard of . Unless a very small outfit . $550 for season . 3-4 car driveway is normal here . Weather it snows or not . Typically we have around 15 snow events per season

Thanks for the comment. Yes, I do residential per push. It's a great idea to do a seasonal rate. I have had customers mention that to me. Some of my customers would rather do a seasonal rate, and I think it's a great idea for next season.

Yes definitely depends on your winters , some people will be all for it . They know what they’re in for all year , no surprises . However some think the other way , they only want to pay as much as they need too . I’m a firm believer that a healthy split of seasonal contracts and per push . Is the ticket to being successful. I’m into residential shovelling myself . The driveway market is very saturated right now here . I found a niche market . Providing a seasonal shovelling service for high end residential clients . Hard work but it’s an honest living

I agree 💯 with a healthy split. Good for you, I know in my area residential shoveling would be a profitable business for sure. We don't have anyone at all doing that. You're right, it's hard to beat a good, honest living.
