Finally found a channel that doesn’t complicate things. Been searching to do this for a year! 😂
same!!!
Looks good, but you have to put weed barrier in. When those weeds start growing through it's not going to look as good and going to be a pain to remove.
I have two or three terraces which I need to put steps to and from, this is brilliantly presented and easy to understand, thanks a million!
Thank you very much 🙂
I don't wanna miss any of your new projects, so I subbed❤
Great job on those stairs!
Thank you 😊
About to do a big backyard makeover and this method of stairs is going to make my project much easier. I was thinking I'd dig and put in railroad ties. Idk why I hadn't thought to lay the steps on top of the slope and fill in around it. Im sure I'll dig some but not as much as I would have and I like the way these steps have sides. Looks good.
Thanks for watching. Yes, it's a great project. You will enjoy it
Very, very, veeeerry nice!
Thank you
Looks great guys!!
Beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
Architectural Technologist here. Looks great and budget friendly. Cheers
Thank you 😊
I have to do this! Thank you!
Well done
Thanks 👍
The steps look great Terry. Well done and yes your arm would have been sore if you would have drove those lag screws by hand 😮🥴😂. Have a great one 👍🏻🙋🏼♂️🙂
Thank you 😊
That looks very nice good job that give me ideas for my back yard slope. Thank you
Thank you
Just what I needed to see, I have the same hill I want to add steps. How long did to say the hill was top to bottom before the steps were installed?
The hill was 10 to 12 feet top to bottom. I used 8 foot 2x8 because ill be adding flag stones after the bottom step 😊 Thanks for watching,
Looks awesome!
Thanks bud 👍
Did you secure any of the pieces into the ground? Looks like just side and middle pieces were connected together but nothing anchoring to the ground? Did I miss something? Genuinely asking.
Hi, thanks for watching. Yes, I shoveled and tamped gravel underneath each step, giving them more stability.
Terry, when you finished steps, did you put dirt/soil on sides of 2x8 to make it look natural? Thanks and steps look great.
Yes, I did, I will be posting another video soon with topsoil up flush with the 2x8. Thanks for watching
Thats nice
Thank you
Love this guy's voice. Also, who doesnt appreciate a someone who doesn’t get out a chainsaw!
Thank you 😊
Has anyone built a handicap ramp up to top of cement steps? We’d like our brother to visit our garden.
Sorry, no, I haven't.
So mad right now. Where was this vid a few weeks back before I started wasting a ton of 4 x 4 on box steps on my slope? Ugg
Your build will last a lot longer, and should look a lot better.
😂 Nice video.
Thanks
